541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 18, 2019, 12:57:02 PM
Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins
Maybe it does not make a big difference to Bitcoin. A few million per day is too small for it. Looking at mass adoption as well, alipay itself can help in this regard, so they can do something without BTC. Besides, why should we take away its functionality? This payment system which will not make a big difference for BTC, can make a big difference for alipay. Altcoins should hold on to something to survive.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency to be used in Money laundering and Terrorism? on: October 18, 2019, 12:26:09 PM
It is used for bad stuff too but it does not mean cryptocurrencies should be banned. Those people use everything in a bad way so it should not be a problem. There will always be someways to do bad stuff. Cryptocurrencies are the payment systems of our future. We cannot stop its development in time and in 10 years everyone will be more aware of them.
There was also terrorism and money laundering before the cryptocurrency was created. I would not prefer crypto, if there is no terror unless there is a crypto. Crypto gives people freedom and that does not mean it should be used for crime. If people had been dealing with these problems instead of dealing with crypto, maybe it would have been solved by now.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 18, 2019, 11:52:41 AM
I'm seeing a lot of posts and top-lists with the best crypto games lately. At the moment there’s a huge selection of crypto games online starting from simple casino slots and finishing by shooters, 3D action, and exploration games. I see a lot of promos, articles, etc, but I never heard of the efficiency of those games for their users. Take this top-5 for example. Does anyone even play it? Are you doing it for fun, or is it really a profitable way of earning crypto?

How relevant are blockchain games and is it possible to make any profit on them? By 'making any profit' I mean an alternative to trading, mining, etc.
Share your experience.
I have seen a project called yamzu, where you deposit a certain amount of money to enter the game, and when you win, you earn the predetermined money. Actually, it gives you a token not money, then you can easily exchange it any coin, or change it to an amazon gift card. I am not interested in things like that too but there are those who can make a profit.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to NEO and ICX? on: October 18, 2019, 11:18:42 AM
NEO which is said to be the leading cryptocurrency in China and ICX for Korea hasn't really been trending recently even with development updates. I've come to realise that most altcoins see price spikes because of hype especially from influencers or upcoming news or market manipulation and not  how great the project is. I've been following NEO and ICX and I'm really impressed with those projects, but their development updates  doesn't affect price positively. What could be the reason behind this? I will like to hear your opinions if you still believe in those projects.
NEO is much faster and more practical than ETH. Even when it was created, it was expected to surpass ETH, but the boom for increase was also for the fall. Compared to one another, NEO is more powerful, but the strength is not enough. If NEO comes with innovations from now on, it can climb up as time goes on. Difficult to give an idea, we can see how they will continue over time. So is ICX, the bad situation of the market has a big role in this predicament too. Lets wait for the situation to improve.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 18, 2019, 10:54:52 AM
Precisely if we have more money it is recommended to buy bitcoin. we will benefit in the next 2-3 years by keeping it in our wallet. I'm pretty sure that bitcoin will still survive. but the momentum is still unknown to us and what must be prepared is the investment we have made since now for the future
What price do you think bitcoin will rise to, in the next 2-3 years?
In my opinion, if we have a large capital, it never hurts to buy bitcoin now. But if the capital is a little, maybe it's a little less good because the current price is expensive. Because it's not good to risk everything we have in the hope that bitcoin will rise later.
The idea of investing as much money as you can risk is absolutely correct. But I do not think the idea of the present price being expensive is right. Perhaps you have come to this idea by comparing the current price with the beginning of year, but on the other hand it may be the lowest price on the road to 50k. Actually, it depends on how you evaluate future prices, which means that you think the price will fall in the near future. Right?
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: October 18, 2019, 10:04:50 AM
Usually a project should have 2 rounds of ICO's but when it happens to have multiple rounds then the project didn't raise the necessary funds and the lack of investors force them to make another round with another discount which can be dangerous for the previous investors. When someones sees projects with multiple rounds of ICO's , just stay away , its better and safer.
I have seen a few times that many reputable projects can be resold, even though they are listed on major exchanges. As I remember, something like this happened in MAN. The year after the end of the ICO, ICO should have been. There are those who remember this project. IMO if the project is respectable, nobody will be doubtful and we will have full confidence in everything devs do.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I created a token AOC on: October 18, 2019, 09:29:58 AM
This is just a joke.
I don't actually support AOC.
I was originally sent to the political district.
How do you think about AOC’s policy?
If you want to talk about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, you are not in the right section. Glance at Politics & Society
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: October 18, 2019, 09:19:57 AM
I'd like to discuss DEX exchanges and its variety.
There are many of it, and top-lists of top DEX exchanges are appearing often as well (here's an example for 2019). After reading one of the latest articles about it, I started to think -- there's too much info and not all of it is trustworthy. Reading reviews, comparing fees... I'd like to know which DEX platform you use and how did you make a decision about it?
Could you tell if you stick to one particular platform or use several of them? What criteria did you rely on?
BinanceChain, IDEX, Bancor, Bisq are among the reputable DEXs you can use.
In the present time a lot of false information around us. In order to get the right information about everything you need to find a few sources that you trust and get the information from them. It does not matter to fibber that this information is important for you or not.
549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 08:50:08 AM
In your opinion, which countries are crypto friendly? Please list

Estonia, Liechtenstein and Switzerland may be added to the order of these countries. They are also crypto friendly countries. Check out this link: https://medium.com/ćternity-ventures/top-8-crypto-friendly-countries-e6bbf90e8161
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 18, 2019, 08:20:08 AM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.
It does not matter how much the investment amount is. As much money as you can risk is enough.

Paying attention to whether the coin is expensive or cheap is not a factor that may be necessary when investing. Finding the potential coin you can invest in is more important.

If you are newbie, it will be difficult for you to find these coins. Firstly, explore the crypto space thoroughly and try to increase your knowledge. Then you can think about creating a portfolio for yourself.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 07:54:49 AM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible
Most of us are already aware of this, the bouty are much worse than before. Yes, sometimes there are good ones, but they are not very common. Therefore we should give priority to BTC payers, at least our earnings will be known.
For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results
IEO has some advantages, but that does not mean each IEO will be successful. Instead of choosing IEO, paying attention to the project will cause more successful results.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: October 18, 2019, 07:14:02 AM
In my own personal opinion, It will be risky if you just assumed that you are investing in a good projects that will make you rich or will give you a better income because not every projects that we think that it will be successful will definitely give us a good profit in exchange of investing our money to them. So, it will just be fine if we only invest ourr money in few projects that we really think that will be beneficial to us and to lower the risk.
Investing in a single project is a huge risk, now only 1 coin's movement moves your entire portfolio. Perhaps the price will rise repeatedly, but the opposite should be considered. The first thing we always think about in trade is to keep our balance, if we can protect, then we can think about next step - profit. Therefore investing the money in a few coins, not a single coin, reduces the risk. After that you can chase your profit.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: October 18, 2019, 06:46:32 AM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and Atomic wallet (AWC) could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.
There is a store, and you sit at home unaware of the store, hoping you will make millions. To me, if you have time to spare, it is better to trade short term. Short term trading is a chance to follow news and changes, and take advantage of opportunities but you should know that the short term is needed more information. Unlike the other you just wait a long time in the long term and information is not much needed.
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: October 17, 2019, 12:41:53 PM
I don't think that there is something wrong with it, and it doesn't mean that this project is 100% a scam. Now projects have migrated to telegram as it is more convenient, so there is no need to update BTT thread. This is normal.
I agree with you. Failure to renew the BTT thread originate from its failure to follow. If there are those who follow this thread, he will give an opinion about the lack of innovation. In the other hand, this place has lost much in its old value. Without signature campaigns, thousands of people would leave.
But telegram is very useful in this regard. It offers the opportunity to track innovations, learn people's thoughts, and ask any question and it is easier to use.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stacking cryptocurrencies with Interest on: October 17, 2019, 12:10:32 PM
Coinmarketcap has recently published a page where they track the interest rates from various cryptocurrencies on different platforms. The highest Bitcoin APR is now 6.20% at BlockFi. Looks like BNB and stable coins have even 10% APRs. I wonder what are these platforms doing with your crypto to offer such high interest rates..

My question to the community is how much you trust these platforms to hold your crypto safe and don't scam away? Is the 4-6% annual interest rate worth the risk for you?
Actually, I never trusted them, and I do not think I will. Even in the banks, while there is a chance that I can not get money back, sending BTC to someone is too risky. I have not information about this procedure but I suppose there are collateral. Right? I would not recommend it to anyone unless there is a guarantee. That is all I think about: if it was that easy, why would everyone trade? There are even employees that work whole year for 1%.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: October 17, 2019, 11:42:11 AM
is it possible that the prize manager and the entire project crew including the developer, they work together and deliberately promote fraudulent projects?

I see how easy they are to erase red trust and promote fraudulent projects repeatedly?
Is this what is called a camouflage manager?
If I remember correctly, at the end of last year, there was a project called ETHvision, which was said to have a hard fork of ETH, and that would give reward to bounty hunters. In this project the bounty manager also worked with scammers, hundreds of hunter have been scammed.

Since most of the bounty managers are not fully investigating the project they are promoting, at the end they get red trust. Being a BM may seem easy, but it is actually a very risky business.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 11:13:13 AM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?

3. I suggest you compare it to the successful ones, not the popular ones. What is popular today may not be popular tomorrow.
4. While there are hundreds of coins that can be invested in the market, do not restrict it with the top 10.
5. Look at the top 50, not the top 10, and there you can see a lot of newly created coins. And that means we can find projects that can be successful if we want.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: October 17, 2019, 10:45:34 AM
Recently there is lots of bad news are coming for fb coin Libra. In this circumstances what do you think Libra coin is going?
I do not know why, how, by whom, but it is obvious that there are those who want to influence the crypto space. As far as I know, a few big companies agreed with Libra, have stopped working. Actually Libra has nothing to do with crypto anyway however it is a good choice for mass adoption. They want to influence its vision but Libra will still be effective.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on BNB for the future maybe in few years time? on: October 17, 2019, 10:16:08 AM
Since I saw BNB launched by Binance, my curiosity was very large, so I bought some BNB and amazingly I got a decent profit, in my opinion BNB in the future might increase even more considering that there are many investors and fans from BNB who very enthusiastic about the news, even though in the past few weeks there has been a decline, in my opinion it's common.
BNB will increase again from now on, but I do not know whether the increase will be as before. IEO sales are the most important reason for Binance's coin increase, which we have not seen much lately that is why the price does not increase as before. The general situation of the market is also one of the main reasons affecting prices. We can see the price change in every possible reason.
560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better for you guys ? on: October 16, 2019, 01:59:48 PM
It's better to avoid IEO. it's clear that IEO is just a fundraising scheme and their main intention is to deceive investors. and we must be smarter and not easy to be fooled. we certainly don't want our money to only get junk tokens. so it's better to stop investing in IEO. And I recommend buying your Bitcoin for 3 years
You should not be strict in your thoughts. IEO in nonscam exchange is superior than others. At least you will not come across scam projects. IEO is the developed version of ICO. The issue is that community caught IEO virus. They think the project without IEO is not good but IEO is good when the project is good, the superiority should always be given to the project.
