As I have see the movement of bitcoin price I don't think it will crash anytime soon. When we say crash bitcoin totally will dump, so the moves of bitcoin will currently climb up high. Because users will go into bitcoin to have bitcoin gold, but let's see the bitcoin price. New investors is expecting good return for short term. In my opinion prices will be dumped hardly after fork. 5000$ level will be new resistance for current uptrend. Long term holders shouldnt worry about current situation but for short term trading this is dangerous situation. |

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
if someone/my bestfriend gives me 1btc (it will so kind of him/her if done it), then i will keep it for future purposes instead of selling it right away because bitcoin is good at putting long term because of pricd increase and also, i will use it only for emergencies sjch as natural disasters. To be honest i am not agree with your opinion.In today's price 1 btc worth more than 5500$ and it already reached to high level. Long term holding is good idea but it doesnt worth to keep 1 btc because you only get max ~x3-x4 in 2 years. |

I currently have about four hundred pounds worth in a Bit Coin tracker through Hargreaves Landsdown. Everything was easy and that is why I did it that way.
I know that this is not a lot but my concerns are that when this fork happens I will not benefit from any Bitcoin Gold and that the value of my shares will fall if Bit Coin falls.
Should I cash in as I've made almost double my money and buy through Coindesk or similar or should I just leave things alone and buy some extra and store in an offline wallet.
Any Ideas?

Hold bitcoins in your offline wallet.I never believe exchanges with my funds. I remember old exchange hacking days and losted funds. In any case you will get your free bitcoin gold, why do you need to take risk? |

I keep my Bitcoins in blockchain.info and in Bittrex exchange.
However, for sake of my project purposes, I need to open extra safe browser-based multi-wallet, where I can easily control private keys and keep them offline.
Is blockchain.info considered an exchange wallet? I'm using some exchanges but want to move to a safer online option. Do you think this would be a good option? I dont advice to hold your hard earned bitcoin in online wallet. If you want to use exchanges go to bittrex,poloniex,c-cex and other exchanges.Safe way to hold your bitcoin is desktop and paper wallets. |

I read some news about price predicitions before upcoming fork. Prices will try to touch 7000$ but this is only possible if price can stay over 5800$ support level. Imo we will not see 7000$ level before december. |

I made a deposite off over 3 BTC in April and then wanted them to withdraw my Bitcoins.
Then they said that i have to pay a 20% withdrawal fee. And i agreed with this high fees.
But now after nearly 6 months i din't get my Bitcoins back.
So stay away from this scammers.
Go to open scam accusation thread against site on repectful part of forum. Bitcoin discussion board is not place for this kind of accusations. I hope you can find their thread through forum and complain to their support forum member. |

Yes, Bitcoin's price always influences the Altcoin. If Bitcoin will pump obviously Altcoin will dump. And when Bitcoin dumps Altcoin will pump. Sometimes it goes to 2x or more.
I feel something fishy about ongoing processes in markets. Big altcoin sell orders are disapperaing in bittrex but 5 minute later same order appears on poloniex. Prices are heavily speculated by traders and end of story doesnt look like good... |

Prices are increasing slowly and there is no sharp price bar on charts.Speculators usually buy when everyone is selling and other way. I know some guys who sold their long term altcoins and transferred their savings to bitcoin for getting free bitcoin gold. Let's see what will happen after fork.

Easy to reading the past, but no one knows what will happen in the future, even just for next 3 months we do not know if bitcoin value is higher than today. For me, motivation invest in bitcoin is longterm.
Short term investment is not way to earn big amounts compared to long term investing opportunities. Higher timeframes offers more price fluctuation than short term trading prices. Short term is not for noobs but noobs can use demo accounts in order to improve their strategy. |

but less than 2 months back more than old 4,600 now without any new news why ??
If you check bitcoin market during China ban you will see that prices only touched 2800$ level not 1000$. It is going to gain more power with upcoming fork news. Patience is needed till october fork. |

Basic two rule: Supply and demand. If everyone has enough money sellers will invrease price because everyone can afford low prices and stock will get dumped by buyers.Inflation is bad for economy and printing money is way to cheat economic growth rates with palying numbers.
