161  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: Antminer S4's in EU on: February 23, 2015, 05:40:16 PM
A bit too harsh price for a S4...
I get a new S5 batch 4 with taxes payed for €469,-
http://www.ebay.at/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-S5-1150-GH-s-Bitcoin-Miner-/191505470257?pt=DE_Computer_Sonstige&hash=item2c969d9331

I think 1,5 BTC for an old S4 is more then enough, don't you think Huh

Kind regards,
elrippo

for S5 you also need psu.. S4 has PSU inside.. anyway if no-one wants to buy then I keep those until I decide to lower price Wink

Some of those S4's are for sale.. For 3 pcs I have original packages (other packages I trashed, took too much space.. ).

price 2.4 btc that includes shipping in EU

their f*** scumbags. I'm local and I will not let them go away with this.. Estonia has pretty good customer protection.
164  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Antminer S4 or S5 (EU) on: February 10, 2015, 03:49:41 PM
i have 9x S4 that I'm considering to sell.. my AC is not powerful enough to cool those..

What kind of price are you offering?

Looking for one at around 3 BTC. Where are you shipping from? Is PSU included?

3btc + shipping + escrow if you need it is fine, PSU included, why should I dismount it anyway Smiley ?

What I would be interested in is a long large perhaps 5U or 6U rack mount case that allows 2 rows of S5 hashboards / heatsinks to slide into a small footprint for datacenters.  As bitmain has maintained the same board size for the S1 / S3 / S5 they could continue to do so then one could simply swap out the old hashboards / heatsinks with newer models as they come out.  Eventually they could just sell the hashboards without heatsinks and decrease shipping costs even more.

I would buy that!

What should the fan speed be at higher temps?
Or more specific, 50 - 60 or higher, shouldn't I see 4k RPM with stock fans?

You might see 4080 or 3960 depending on the combination of temperatures.

you wouldn't happen to have a product code for some suitable fans? I discovered one faulty.
EDIT: I'm asking as I noticed fan connector is bit different than regular PC cooler has...

Corsair SP120 High Performance Editions are suitable for the front intake fans as long as you have the originals on the rear as they're the ones that do most of the static pressure work. I don't have a PN for the rear fans though.

Many thanks

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / innosilicon scrypt module problem on: January 20, 2015, 05:17:33 PM
howdy folks!

my srypt miner with A2 chips is not hashing.. I discovered, that after powering on, it will hash about 20sec and then it stops. it dissapears from cgminer until I power off the rig and then power on again.

looking it closer I found that there are 8 led's on the board

when booting:
LED_UA4 - flashing
LED_UA3 - flashing
LED_UA2 - OFF
LED_UA1 - flashing
LED_UB4 - flashing
LED_UB3 - flashing
LED_UB2 - flashing
LED_UB1 - flashing

when cgminer starts mining:
LED_UA4 - on
LED_UA3 - on
LED_UA2 - OFF
LED_UA1 - on
LED_UB4 - on
LED_UB3 - on
LED_UB2 - on
LED_UB1 - on

when it stops about after 20sec:
LED_UA4 - on
LED_UA3 - OFF
LED_UA2 - OFF
LED_UA1 - on
LED_UB4 - on
LED_UB3 - on
LED_UB2 - on
LED_UB1 - on

any ideas what they mean?

Anybody measured wall wattage by modifying chip speed/volts? I mean besides that table on the OP. I'd like to calculate the best earning / power spending point with my power prices...

175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Odd question.. on: October 29, 2014, 08:15:25 PM
I have VMC Gold Rush 750gh/s cards if that is also what you guys are seeking.. don't have those 1st VMC cards.. Sad
2 of them are working like a charm
2 of them are bricks as corsair coolers were leaking or something went wrong with those, anyway at some point they were not mining and not found on usb interface anymore.. can send those as bonus with each working card Smiley

now those working cards.. I can sell those as I ordered 2x C1-s

One card can be sold as card only, the other one can be sold as whole package (the one I'm selling is identical but with Aurum PSU):

177  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] raspberry + lcd + sc card ready for mining on: September 30, 2014, 05:31:56 PM

I can sell you one all ready to go if you like...I have the HashFast image here. Honestly if you have a SD card slot I can walk you through setting up a Pi with web interface in about 10 minutes flat though.
sell me ready to go.. as I'd like full working pi (w lcd), I can buy separate things myself also and I can get is running also myself, I just don't have time to play with it now, and it is getting cold here outside.. I promised to build a "heater" for my parents.. I have habanero boards, and watercooling parts are arriving this week - to assemble this it already takes time (and it's fun) linux is not a problem, time is...
178  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] raspberry + lcd + sc card ready for mining on: September 30, 2014, 12:43:45 PM
hi

want to buy a raspberry system with lcd that displays hashrate and uptime and ip address of Pi
system must be ready for mining - plug in power, lan, and miner(s) via usd and voila Smiley
miner must autostart upon powerloss
does not matter if it is bfgminer of cgminer as long as it is compiled with hashfast support.. i could update and recompile it myself if needed.
web UI for starting and stopping miner + pool configuration

any offers?

i'm just too lazy to build it myself Smiley web UI is needed as using ssh on a iPad is not comfortable for me.. Smiley
