781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: January 05, 2018, 11:36:45 PM
I would be happy with what I have lost in the past 2 years for me to walk away from gambling forever.
I choose not to disclose how much I have lost in that time because it brings back some memories I wish not to revisit so early on in the new year.

It is a substantial amount, let me put it this way. Embarrassed
782  Economy / Gambling / Re: BookMaker.eu Official Thread on: January 05, 2018, 11:35:16 PM
You have been around for 30 years?
How come this is the first time I have heard of you and you are posting about all these major media news outlets such as NBC, ESPN and ChicagoSunTimes

But have not seen any commercials for your sportsbook on any of those media powerhouses in the sports community.

Did you operated under a different name for that 30 years + in the past?
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 05, 2018, 09:29:08 PM
No, not West ham. Cheesy
I meant Tottenham Hot Spurs are in league with one of the big teams. Not lowly west ham that I am sure will be in regulation(they are currently 15th on the table) once the season comes to close.
With Harry Kane you can not say they are not one of the top five big teams in the EPL now.
Along with Manchester United/City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 05, 2018, 07:05:32 PM
Tottenham vs west Ham has just finished 1-1!
Tottenham dominated with about 30 shots while the West Ham scored 1 goal in the only opportunity created. This is a big wasted opportunity for Tottenham as it often happens.
Another draw by two big teams?
First Arsenal and Chelsea earlier in the week and now Tottenham Hot spurs!
What the heck is going on because nobody would of predicted these two hot teams for scoring to have draws in two games.
Unbelievable and glad I did not bet on these two recent EPL games.
Because there aren't many games to have to choose from since Sunday for these mid week matches.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: LTCNYAN.COM official | Social Litecoin Gambling | High Profit on: January 05, 2018, 07:02:21 PM
Interesting name for the site. Wink
It drew me in to see what it was all about and the mention of litecoin caught my eye since I am looking for a site that offers this coin to be accepted so I can use them instead of bitcoin.
As I rather use those instead with the sudden increase of bitcoin price yet again.
But if it is a site like bustabit, then I agree with the above poster.
You would need to get approval from ryan who are selling his script.
If you didn't purchase it through him then he might as you to pay the license to use his script for these sites cause he sells them outright.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: January 05, 2018, 06:58:51 PM
They share tips on their gambling predictions because it is a fun thing to do and they feel they are helping people.
And since it does not cost them a thing to do, I do not see why not.
Now those who are charging people for their tips.
Then that is a whole other story. Roll Eyes
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: January 05, 2018, 06:57:27 PM
The best advice is to stop betting. If you make a profit you can continue, but if you lose more than you earn it is not worth continuing. I know those feelings when you lose you are sad and you think about what you would have done with those lost money.
I recommend you to start trading, the profit is lower but you can control the losses more easily.
Not so simple to do my friend.
Some people are addicted and can not just simply stop their gambling on those sites because it has become their daily ritual.
But with some motivation and help from those who have experienced such addiction and withdrawn from it's vices, I can see that person successfully getting out of their situation if it is such a big problem and trouble in their lives.
788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: January 04, 2018, 07:42:01 PM
This does just destroy your reason to continue betting a particular way or at a certain site.
Your winning streak has ended and you think to yourself you need to adjust something to get out of this process of losing one after the other betting a particular and certain way.
Thinking that your luck will change. But unfortunately it does not. Undecided
789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: January 04, 2018, 07:39:36 PM
Primedice is offering members here a bonus of a few dollars worth of bitcoin so to try out their site.
Which to me is the whole reason for faucets to be given to players in the first place.
To try out a site before you commit to it before depositing.
Am I wrong in this thought of what faucets were created and designed for in the first place? Embarrassed
790  Economy / Gambling / Re: Moneypot: Powered by Monster Byte on: January 04, 2018, 01:42:52 PM

What is MBI? Is that the official crypto/trading symbol for monsterbyte's token perhaps?
If it is then what exchange are they on so we are able to get some before the merger has been finalized and the API has been implemented on the site's platform?

You heard of their name before, they are known more for the team behind bitcoinrush and peerbet. They are one of the oldest bitcoin gambling site to date and yes they have their own token. You can check more about it here

https://monsterbyte.io/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monster-byte/#markets

This good news is going to boost their popularity soon and of course the token price might be slightly getting up as well soon

Thanks for chiming in oHnK!

Correct, MBI is currently 'tradeable' on the Waves DEX, albeit with extremely low liquidity (based on various reason, mainly the Waves DEX). We've been pursuing to get listed on other exchanges since our ICO, and we still have not given up that goal. More to come on this in our quarterly report which will be published before the end of the month.

Shortly, we will be soliciting some feedback on features you as players, or App owners, would most be looking for ahead of that time. After consolidating that feedback, we will be publishing a consolidated 2018 roadmap later this month

We are extremely excited about the MP merger, and really look forward to continue to advance the MoneyPot product and brand!

Interesting to hear about this directly from the creator of the site that is MBI.
Thanks for clarify this with me.
And yes, I do use waves and was wondering what else they have in store with that platform and now I see they have made something that would be useful for me to use and contribute too.
Thank you for the insight on this project as well. And you too OHnK! Grin
And I do agree. The token value will surely increase with more availability to them and the lower cost of being able to use them on the WAVES platform to transfer them to the casinos so the players can use them for their intention.
Win win for all involved! Cool
791  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST play/invest, maximum transparency, join us! on: January 04, 2018, 01:24:47 PM

From what I remember as you said on the chat last evening that you were working on the lightening network for the site.
Now I know you do programming for the AM bot on the site.
So is this correct you are also working on this network for faster transactions to the site?

It must have been someone else. There is no official LN for Bitcoin yet, and I think a lot of time will pass till LN will be available for an average Joe.

I am working on LTC though and it is scheduled for release before 15 Jan. Later we'll add more cryptocurrencies - this should help us mitigate high Bitcoin fees. At least to some point. I sent a Litecoin transaction earlier today and it costed me only $0.05.
Great to finally hear that litecoin will be available with a pretty good eta on it's arrival on the site.
And I am certain paying $0.05 would be a welcomed amount to pay as opposed to the over $24 it cost me the other time I did a deposit when the blockchain was over saturated with unconfirmed at over 229k back in december 14th.

This just posted on your site's chat from a regular user of ours:
https://www.coindesk.com/payment-provider-bitrefill-runs-successful-lightning-transaction-test/

Credit goes to pank on that one. Wink

Hi ethan_nx. I heard that Yolodice has Segwit enabled and I would like to know what your thoughts and experiences are in setting it up. I also want to ask how much in fees do you or your users pay when they withdraw from your site and how much cheaper are they compared to legacy transactions?

Nitrogen's solution to the problem is charging their users with $20 per withdrawal which is laughable. As one of the biggest gambling sites, they should be leading Segwit adoption in the community.

Segwit helps a bit, but only "a bit". I cannot remember the exact calculation of transaction weight for segwit/non-segwit transaction, but using Segwit addresses in our wallet help us save ~ 30% in fees. In fact it's less than nothing, because the fact that the blocks are full and network fees are skyrocketing increases fees by 1000% for everyone for most of the time.

So YES: Segwit slightly helps us solve the problem that is the result of lack of scaling.
And NO: Segwit alone does NOT fix Bitcoin scaling issues and high fees.

Contrary to the common belief, Segwit solves nothing right now. It helps mitigate high fees in certain situations. Even if every transaction right now was a Segwit transaction, it would not solve the scaling problem.

Ethan

Cheers,
Ethan
Everything but the signatures are counted as normal (1 byte = 1 weight unit) and signatures are counted at 1/4 (4 bytes of signature = 1 weight unit)

Haven't used them before but will give it a whirl now and since hero gets as much as if a legendary would get might as well wouldn't you agree?
Also I believe primedice was the very first dice site ever to exist so they deserve the recognition in that respect from all the other gambling sites to follow in their footsteps as being the premier one as a forefather to learn from. Grin

Thank you for the giveaway by the way! Wink

So this aqusition by monsterbyte is big sine now they can just use their own tokens/alt coins to fuel these casinos now.
Correct?
Expect the value of their coins to surge on the exchanges they are on in the next few weeks.

Yes, we do plan on supporting Waves tokens in Money Pot - including MBI!

Two of the oldest names in Bitcoin gambling have now joined forces, who says the crypto gambling scene isn't still full or surprises eh? MP (through an API) was my very first introduction to using microbetting with satoshi, dice, and I still have good friendships from some of the sites using MP bankroll. Hope this significant news will signal a revival for some of those casinos, expect MBI tokens to get a boost in demand over the next few months even (it pays holders dividends) once word gets out.

Bitcoin is still great, but very good to see alts coming into the scene, especially for the sportsbook. Great start to the year, well done MP and MB!

795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: January 04, 2018, 08:08:19 AM
As suggested it's good to move towards altcoins to experience the gambling, if you consider bitcoin to be too expensive for gambling. Lots and lots of gambling websites have started to accept altcoins into gambling activities. Many casinos offer gambling with Litecoin and Ethereum. A few casinos also offer gambling with other altcoins like Doge, DASH etc.
I know of other casinos then what I am use to using allowing you to gamble with doge and litecoin but didn't know about dash.
Which ones are allowing you to use dash instead of the above and bitcoin?
I would be interested to know. Thank you.

After a boring first half London Derby had a much better second half with 4 goals scored in the last 30 minutes in the match Chelsea waisted a lot of scoring chances Morata was an artist in waisting those chances.
But Arsenal had bad luck again with referee as Chelsea got back from Hazard penalty dive that he converted . Now this draw will help the other teams like Liverpool United and Tottenham to get little bit far from Arsenal and getting little bit closer to chelsea so the first January Derby finished with a draw it's still time for Arsenal to take their revenge back from the next two Cup games which they always do.
I saw that penalty for Morata and the goal he got for it.
I thought was was over for Arsenal for sure.
But they ended up getting a goal very late in the frame to tie it up to end up with a 2-2 draw.

Very boring first half as you had said and didn't think they would gotten over 4 goals in the second half as the game was progressing.
But they did it! Grin

Nice promotion to be kicking off since the NFL regular season was officially over on Sunday and we are moving into the playoffs now.
All the bad play teams are out and we can finally get down to the business of it all in the coast to coast rivalries. Grin
Let's play us some football! Cool

I think andhave always thought their site and support really is poor.
Just to withdraw you need to have 0.001btc in your account and I don't think their withdrawals are free anymore.

They withdrawals are not free anymore, just like you said in there.

They charged me about 0.001 of fees more than three days ago when i tried to withdraw my money from there.

I was just testing the site, and i spent a lot of money because of fees, lol.

But i liked it, and they are a good betting site.

So you and EdenHazard said you were able to withdraw but with paying these high fees they charge?
Can you confirm that you two actually did receive your requests and are in your wallets and secured off their site?
Because alot of people are claiming that they were not able too since many months past and still are not able too.
And EdenHazard, yes there are sites that do not charge to withdraw your funds from a betting site.
Someone mentioned he uses two of them and they have never charged any fees to withdraw your own winnings from their sites.

So they ask you to have 0.001btc in your account because they have to minus that amount from your withdrawal which if you don't have more than that it would be 0 btc sent out. Roll Eyes
