1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: Today at 10:25:12 AM
Right now bitcoin is the best solution for financial transactions, because transactions using bitcoin do not need physical contact. And also
the spread of the corona virus can be through paper money, this has become evidence that bitcoin can be a solution. Because of  all
bitcoin transactions done digitally, so you can avoid the spread of the corona virus. All bitcoin haters and the government must be able to
understand and have big hearts accept bitcoin as payment.

It is more safe to do transactions in bitcoin than via cash or credit cards. But the problem is not many people uses bitcoin and they are not aware of it. Few days back I wanted to pay someone in bitcoins but he was insisting on cash because he didn't knew about bitcoin and therefore he does not trust digital currency.

Bitcoin need to be spread more, if we want it to make a alternative currency for paper money.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make your donation against COVID-19 on: Today at 09:34:57 AM
How will you prove that this is a legal donation organization for Covid-19 and you have not made it yourself to collect the funds ?
This is the first question which everyone will ask you here because of lot of scams these days.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: Today at 08:13:43 AM
During pandemic bitcoin always drop and look like don't strong how to back with higher price, maybe pandemic of corona virus have make bitcoin and altcoin gone or bitcoin moment have over, how ever we need time after pandemic end then give chance for bitcoin back to higher price always.

Bitcoin did dump to 3800$ in this pandemics situation but it quickly bounced back. I still think that bitcoin is more stable than stocks or forex market. These markets recover very slowly while bitcoin always recover fast.

As the world faces and tackling the covid-19 pandemic. Some government around the world has re-sorted to putting a stay at home order to help curtail the spread of the virus.

So as cities around the world is on lock down due to this lets capitalize on the positive side of this

+ Some site are doing free training and assisting video on some vocational training course and even online training as well. For disclaimer I would not mention the site. You can browse the net  and check the legitimacy of any site giving such offers. With time on hand this period an extra knowledge is not a waste.

+ Read more: this period is a good chance to read for those who before had limited spare time to read.. you can go through cryptocurrency books to sharpen your knowledge about it

+ Stay more on the forum: with this time one can stay more on the forum learning from threads, contributing more of there knowledge with post, and reporting those going against any rule. For a better forum

It's would be a waste of time if after the lockdown one comes out the same way we went in or even worse.
We would surely defeat the virus
Wish everyone on the forum safety and pls stay at home

Yes, if you are a student or have a day job , you are now free to learn new things which may help you in the future if you are able to survive in this period. However, there are other people who have been fired out of jobs and many businesses are closed and people are facing difficulty to keep their daily expenses running. Those people are in deep trouble and they could not learn new skills in these time when they have hunger in their home.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: April 04, 2020, 05:33:06 PM
Because practically, 70% of gamblers lose dailies, which makes the bookmakers even more rich.

Bookmakers does not take your bet, they only facilitate your bet, they make money from juice so their income would rely on the volume of gamblers and the amount of money entering in sportsbook. it goes like this, when one wins, the other will lose, the winning bettor will usually get 90% only while the 10% will be for the book makers, that's how they make money.

This is exactly so in theory. But in practice, for some reason, bookmakers hate plus players. And in various ways they struggle with them - they cut the limits of bets and even ban. How can you explain this?
Iím always looking for an answer to this question but no one can clearly explain it.

Bookmakers are not so innocent as they look like to be. They are the ones who make the most of the money on the bets. Even the bigger bookies buy the teams and players and make the deal with team so that the stronger team loses and all the bet money goes in the pocket of bookies.

No one is here for 20 years investments. This is a very long time. I can hold by bitcoins for another 1- 2 years and I am hopeful we will see the bull run before this time. If you are holding for bitcoin for 20 years, it is also very risky because you never know whether bitcoin will exist that time or there maybe something new,  currency which we can't imagine now.

20 years might be a long time, but I personally think 1-2 years is still quite short-sighted. In my opinion a minimum should be like 5 years. Also, are we really all into Bitcoin solely for investment purposes? The really passionate Bitcoiners surely does seem to be a dying breed huh.

Relevant:

I already hold bitcoins and wait for 3 years and i would wait another 2 years, so it will be ideally 5 years and I should get the reward of waiting and holding Bitcoins, shouldn't I ?

20 years isn't too long as you imagine it, for a young man like myself, if  I can accumulate a whole lot of bitcoins in the next twenty years, by then I'll be entering the mid part of my life then it is a good investment plan imo. The risk is not determined by how long you hold, you can hold for two or twenty years, you're still likely to be affected by the risks involved.

Well how young you are ? If you are 15, after 20 years you will be 35. That's fine.

Most of the people are in the ages from 25-35 and if you add 20 years in that it will be like 50 years, when we are too old. Also we never know how long can we live these days due to the biologicals wars and coronavirus.

We are living in a real crazy moment of mankind. Everyone in home, afraid  financial collapse.
Bitcoin wasn't hit as hard as the stock market: 40% down is normal to us. But it is not normal for sp500.

Let's not forget to accumulate bitcoin in these times. People may be trading a lot, but accumulating btc for the next 20 years is my ultimate  goal.

Kiyosaki shared this opinion recently. He believes  in an alternation of bitcoin gold and is by the year 2040. We are here for long term.

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: April 01, 2020, 05:43:29 PM
Now is official and we have a new date.

The games will be from 23rd July 2021 to 8th August 2021

That's almost 1 year and 4 months time before we will be able to see the Olympics. I hope this will give players and countries to continue the preparation and those who were lacking in preparation can utilize this additional time and come strong after an year.

Unfortunately this will be a year too late for some athletes and they are unlikely to participate.
I personally don't believe that the Americans will be able to send a new dream team to basketball because of the overlapping term of the NBA season and the date of the Olympics.
It will be a great shame and loss for all true sports fans.

But what else can they do ? Yeah, it will be unlucky for those players are getting retire in next year before the Olympics or some of them who are fit now might be injured at that time. But it will give chance for the new players as well.
We have no one to blame for the current situation of coronavirus and no one can control the situation too.

I think you have missed to write the terms and condition to apply for this campaign.

You don't need signature to wear in this campaign.

Only those who have the MASK ON can apply for this campaign.

17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges need mobile apps? on: March 29, 2020, 11:44:07 AM
I recently learned from an article that various instant exchanges have mobile applications that essentially provide the same functions as the web versions. I can understand when massive platforms like Amazon create their applications. The web version in the smartphone looks rather bulky and inconvenient to use. But here, all that the user is interested in is one page with exchange pairs and an exchange button. I was wondering, why do platforms with such simple functionality create mobile applications that duplicate the functionality of the site, if everything is implemented quite simply on the web? Surely, I am missing something, so I want to put everything in its place.

These days people are more online on mobile rather then on PC. Therefore we find that every good business or service has a mobile app. It will give you more business and customers if you also have a mobile app for your business.
Some companies make a lighter version of their web through mobile app.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Play Offs | POSTPONED on: March 28, 2020, 05:20:17 PM
As the EURO has been postponed the same is going to happen with the Olympics.
Both of the events are huge. And if we say that EURO is not so big as Olympics and they are already postponed, the same is going to happen to them. We just have to wait for the official announcement.

Sorry if there's another topic for the Olympics - I know we spoke about it here as well so I'm giving some new info.
Delaying them as well is starting to become a reality, the committee will be meeting in order to discuss the delay - they will plan to postpone it for a whole year.

This one will really be hard to organize but it is a good call, considering the alternative (no fans, not all athletes participating etc.)

I think you should not discuss Olympics in this EURO thread. There is a separate Olympics 2020 Discussion Thread which you can express your feeling  about the postponed Olympics   Sad

20  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: March 28, 2020, 04:54:56 PM
Wow, I got this information from cloudbet that they are focusing on e-sports when the other sports are almost dead.
That's the only way we can fill in this space and time.
