..
Do not trust everything you read on the Internet trustpilot or any other review website.
I'm not vouching for JacksClub here, but you need to do your own research and check carefully the accuser's evidences before making up your mind.
Reviews and ratings can be faked and manipulated. As I said, don't trust everything you read online, make your own mind!

I have lost my confidence on trust pilot recently as i have seen some positive feedback about some sites when actually they are not so good ones. Trust pilot have gained some name in the industry but if they fail to control these paid reviews phenomenon, they may actually lose the trust.

The best way to know about any gambling site is to watch the discussions on their ANN thread. You will usually find better feedback here on bitcointalk about the gambling site as compared to any other platform.

926  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which best for long term investment? Hardware wallet or Software wallet . on: June 20, 2023, 03:57:49 PM
First of all, whether you use hardware, software, air-gapped or whatever wallet, you need to have an understanding of it completely. When you say that hardware wallets are easy to use for newbies, the newbies must know how to use a hardware wallet and how to keep it secure. Lack of knowledge can still result in loss of funds even if a person has a hardware wallet.
Agree with you mate. If I don't have proper knowledge about the wallet I choose to keep my bitcoins in a secure position, I will not get any profit from using that wallet instead it will become a loss source. Many newbies don't know much about hardware wallets so they should first get a good idea how to use that wallet.

A few days ago I saw a safepal hardware wallet from one of my friends. But he didn't know how to use that wallet. He was intelligent. He took help form his nearest to learn about it and then he was able to use it. I personally had no idea. I learnt something from YouTube. Later I was able to get a better idea by looking at my friend's wallet. If he could try to do by his own self without lack of knowledge, the guy would have been fallen in danger and possibly even lost his bitcoins.

Again when talking help on the wallets from anyone, make sure you are getting help from a trusted person. I have seen people randomly asking in groups / Social media / Forums to set up their wallets and end up dealing with a scammer who will just run away with your funds while trying to explain how to use a Hardware /software wallet.

Getting help from youtube videos is great if you are a good learner and also you may have a new wallet with no funds, experiment with it, even get help from strangers and when you want to transfer funds, get a brand new wallet.
927  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 19, 2023, 06:26:17 PM
Update: Rohan contacted me one week ago 12th June and said that he was very sorry and money is the reason he gets in trouble, his solution to solve this case was that I was gonna purchase his bitcointalk account (For him his bitcointalk account was worth much more then $63).
Of course I refused... then I waited maybe he truly is sorry and will give me another offer like some repayment each week or month. But no.. after I refused to buy his account he did go back into total silence again.

I know he is active on Telegram since his status is "last seen recently" and not "more then one week ago"

Also.. he said he saw this thread, but he has not been online since 31 May on bitcointalk?! So he is using another account now I think.

I am sorry CYBER_COWBOY but look like he tried to scam you again. He told you to buy his account and also, he told that it was worth much more than 63$..Ahhhh

This means he wanted to sell the account to you more than 63$ and thus would have been demanding more money from you in case you agree (by balancing out the unpaid debt of 63$).

To be honest, a clean member account isn't that much worth and this Rohan Kotkar account is worthless because it has been tagged. There are other complications too like buying and selling account is not considered a good thing on the forum and it could also damage your reputation if you purchased that account.

You should forget about this money as it seems that he is a scammer and have no intention to return the amount.

928  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT SCAMMED for 30.69mBTC on: June 19, 2023, 06:10:52 PM
UPDATE while writing this: It seems that I can log into my account again, they refunded all my bets and I have only deposit amount of my account.
So basically they stole 28.69mBTC, everything I made over this day they decided to not pay me out, I bet on 7 events at all and every bet got refunded, I did not use any software or I did not abuse any bug with odds, most of bets were live-bets based on what I saw watching cs:go matches.

You should consider yourself lucky that they refunded you all your bets and now the stolen amount is lowered to 28.69mBTC. 1xbit is a scam site and you already have mentioned their link to the ANN thread.

Haven't you read the comments and feedback about this site on thier ANN thread and also did you not see the negative feedback given to their manager plus everyone who advertise 1xbit on this forum ? If you knew all this why did you play at that scam site? Any particular reason?
There are so many other good gambling sites to deposit and play but you choose the scammed one  Sad
929  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: June 19, 2023, 04:17:53 PM
@joker_josue You need to set TalkImg.com as your avatar and signature! Seems crazy to not use those spaces and your reputation to promote TalkImg all around the forum.

I doubt it is needed as of now as TalkImg has grown organically through discussion and a lack of support from Imgur. At the moment TalkImg does not have any monetary support and if the owner wants to get some revenue through a signature campaign then I do not think that should be an issue. I do feel after a certain period of time TalkImg should introduce an advertisement revenue model. When it is done then that would be the right time to utilize the signature space for promoting TalkImg.

I guess TalkImg is already popular on this forum and there is no need for further promotion. However, the next step should be to make TalkImg for everyone (the Public) and not just for the bitcointalk users. Of course for that purpose, the sources would be required but the site can generate a lot of revenue once its starts to give other image-uploading sites competition.

Many of the old members are aware of the talkimg website and service but some new members might not be aware of the service. New members join the forum every day and many of them may not know about this great product. The product still needs publicity in and outside the forum.

If anyone spends some time on the forum, especially in the Meta section, he or she will soon come to know about this service.
Signature campaigns are more suited to those projects which generate revenue otherwise it will be more burden on the project owner. Does TalkImg generate revenue?
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com on: June 17, 2023, 07:00:16 PM
now im asking myself: how do the call this "provably fair?"

Don't know if Punt.com provide provably fair proof of every game you gamble, but some good sites will give you this proof and you can verify whether the bet was provably fair or not.

Also, you mentioned that you played over 300 games and lost most of them. Does at any time you decided to play at another casino to see the results? Better play at some other casino and see if your losing streak is similar as in punt site.

Finally, keep in mind, that gambling is for fun purposes, and you have to pay the money to have fun. Winning is gambling is your luck, don't think that you will always win in gambling.
931  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: from closed source to open source wallet[what is the risk] on: June 17, 2023, 06:36:23 PM
Do not let anyone knows your seed phrase. Open source or close source wallet can not help against the person that knows your seed phrase because the person can steal your coins.

The benefit of open source wallet is that the public know its source code, unlike close source wallet that its source code is only known to the developers that created the wallet, and vulnerabilities can be included which the public can not know about.

After reviewing the replies, I believe you have all the technical answers. What I write now is a simple knowledge that most of us forget. it's crucial to remember the following steps to improve security, such as using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and keeping your devices and software up to date. Do remember that backing up your seed phrase and storing it securely offline is one of the most important steps. If you follow the above steps, you will never be going through any anxiety about losing your cryptocurrency.

The question asked by the OP is not about the general security of the wallets. You can keep your seed phrases to the safest place on the earth, keep your devices virus free, take every precaution with a closed source wallet and still the owners of the wallet can steal your funds if they make changes in the code to get your seed phrases.

Now you know why we are discussion here the open and close source wallets and not the general security. First you need to transfer funds to the reputed open source wallet and then make all the measures to safe guard your wallet.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with FUD about Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 06:13:40 PM
I'm an active participant in quora. Mostly I'm engaged in cryptocurrency discussion in Bengali. My purpose is simply to fight against FUD, misinformation. I have been doing this actively for long time now. I have engaged in debates in quora.

For the last few years, I'm trying to have a debate about Bitcoin with Mohammad Ghoni who was a Professor in a private university of Bangladesh. He claims himself as a economic analyst.

However, his negativity against Bitcoin is totally stupid. In fact, it seems he is biased when talking about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. He talks nonsense as if he doesn't know anything about Bitcoin. He is spreading wrong information about Bitcoin in quora. It's simple, when you don't know anything perfectly and you want to talk about that, you will only generate some stupid text.

I tried to engage with him in his responses. I'm ready to have a debate with him. The problem is he doesn't reply when someone wants to talk against his stupid opinion. He simply put answer on quora and then leave. I have replied in many of his answer in quora but never got a reply.
Now, I'm getting more concerned because he is spreading negativity in most of the questions. What can I do? Is there anything legal step someone can take, any foundation working on such issue? Or how can I invite him for a debate? I can simply put him on ignore but I'm also concerned about people getting wrong message. That's why I'm thinking something different.

Do you know that if a person does not have answers to your questions, it means his point of view is not strong and he is unable to answer our queries and defend his point of view?

Since you are talking about a public forum Quora, where he puts the question/comment in a negative manner about Bitcoin, and in return you post the logical answer to that comment to which he has no words to reply. Now let the people decide who has the right point of view. They will read his comments and your comments and people will judge who is creating the fud and who is talking about the reality.
933  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: June 16, 2023, 08:42:51 PM
No no I don't buy anything goods or services using cryptocurrency online virtual currency because my country don't directly permit bitcoin as trading system.
Using crypto if you look at it now is no longer a strange thing but there are special places that are We have to see something else to be able to use crypto money because not everyone now understands the system its use. but if I myself have tried buying rare and valuable items with crypto

There are not many options available around us to actually buy or sell using bitcoin or crypto. Yes, we can use Bitcoin at few of the online outlets and websites, but the choices are limited. Most of the time, the only way to buy anything is to convert your Bitcoin into fiat and then buy your desired items.

Most people do not accumulate bitcoin to spend it on shopping, but they buy bitcoin to invest them for the long term or do trading and earn some money. In a world where crypto is not legal in most parts of the world, very few people are concerned about what they can buy directly with crypto.
934  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling addiction causes ear deafness? on: June 16, 2023, 07:55:26 PM
It's easier to get addicted to online gambling, but I recently met someone who said that he isn't even aware that he was an addict until his blood brother told him that he is going too deep into gambling.

He said that he screamed to him to wake up scarily, he said his brother is his savior, but I replied to him that he is someone who listened, most gambling addicts that I have came across have closed ears, they won't listen to you when you try to warn them or advice them.

Have you meet gamblers that are going way too deep into addiction and you try to stop them and they listen? I've never accomplished that before.

They always behaved deaf, like some spiritual power is in control.

When I first read your subject, I thought that something new is discovered about gambling addiction but later when I read more details, I laughed at your sarcasm. You're right on the spot on this analysis. Not only does gambling addiction make you deaf, it also steals the power of your mind to understand right or wrong.

The gambler addiction fails to recognize that they are doing wrong and if someone tries to give them advice, they tend to be unhappy with them, and depending upon who has advised them, they may start misbehaving with them. Sometimes I feel that arguing with gambling addicted people is like yelling at a deaf person.
935  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: dinabot scam 2023 on: June 16, 2023, 07:35:01 PM
If you see the history post from @OP.

Is weird and funny at the same time, because most of the post are "scam assumption" post to 98% casino topic. Meanwhile all the post are not explained any proof or further discussion.

So, this post is just a same post like his other post like (fake post scam).
I'm not even familiar with the gambling site he mentioned. Also, such kind of posts will just be accussations if proofs won't be provided. Is OP up into something? I also checked his previous posts and it is really alike from this topic of him. I hope this is not just to promote something and to degrade other platforms. I cannot even comprehend the idea fully 'coz he's been mentioning about tipping, a timeframe, then a scam already?  There should be a process. The player should be reaching out the platform first and if it would take days without any response try consulting other players. If things won't still be, creating a post will just be for awareness.

I don't think this is a gambling site, it is in fact an exchange for stake.com but i do not exactly know why people will use a third party to exchange the coins  Huh

Also, OP did not come up with any proper solid proof so we cannot go to the conclusion that he actually has been scammed. I don't like when people just come up with a newbie account and make a negative post about any service without proof. You cannot make anyone reputed down only by posting incomplete scam accusations.
936  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shilling service on: June 16, 2023, 05:09:13 PM
It is difficult to find Services except you come on here. I am looking for a shilling manager for my project. Our offer depends on your team size and our payment is flexible $50 - $100 each 24 hours. We will pay advance before start of work every 24 hours. Dm me on bitcoin talk with existing works

Your previous post says $400 per month for bounty manager and now you say $50 to $100 per day. Sounds fishy. Anyway, if it's $100 per day, I'm interested.

Such people just post and never look back on the forum. The reason for this is that no one is willing to work with their scam services. For a moment think that will they pay anyone in advance to perform a shilling service ? No way, it's just a marketing stunt and when you contact them, they have their own terms and conditions.

Actually now that I think about it, since I'm an extortionist (don't even know how to spell it) You have to pay me $1000 just for letting me know about your request.🤣
Add more $1000 to this, OP can run signature campaign for 4 weeks  Grin

If OP had money, he should have opted for a better means to promote his business. But look like he is only interested in free advertisements and that too in a unethical manner like spamming / Shilling.
937  Other / Meta / Re: Offensive words on the forum on: June 15, 2023, 04:23:10 PM
Every person is right in his own opinion so do not use offensive words on others who make a post but rather convince them to understanding why their opinion is wrong
Some members of this forum do this alot
Like saying a person's post is nonsense or is of no use like this post made by a newbie
with SOKO- DEKE  saying it is nonsense  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5454681.0
Please let us be more polite when making post or replying posts

I didn't find any newbie SOKO- DEKE on that thread and also I can't even find a post stating the word "Non-Sense". I do agree that some people have aggressively stated their point of view but it is not necessary that one's opinion matches with others and we have full right to argue with any person if we do not agree with his or her statement.

Sometimes people may use in-appreciate language which may hurt anyone, we have the option to ignore the person who is constantly bugging us, but a better reaction will be to give a respectful reply to a harsh comment and the other person will feel ashamed.

Remember If you are bad to a bad person there is no difference between the two, but if you are good to a bad person, then you are far superior to him.
938  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: all egyptians must stop visiting freebitco.in on: June 15, 2023, 12:31:50 PM
in short

1- freebitco.in banned all egypt ip addresses ranges from earning (can not click 'ROLL' l, can not click 'withdraw')
2- only VPN works with them but not guaranteed, freebitco.in banning them when reach the minimum amount and click withdraw
3- so, all egyptians people must stop visiting this website
4- its global site rank became 1854 (decreased 41 sites yesterday)
5- if no one from egypt visit this website; its global site rank will continue decreasing until down away and lose people's trust
6- because they must know that it is a losing website, not earning website

every one not believe me, will believe me in the future, after he/she lose all their own money

I do not know if Egypt is excluded from the freebitco allowed countries, but one thing is sure that even if they restrict the Egyptians from accessing this site on any legal reasons, it won't have much impact on their business and ranking. The freebitco site is being used globally and people from all around the world access this site.

Also, if they have restricted the egypt ip addresses, it is advised not to use VPN to access the site. Because if they caught you using VPN, they will close your account and you will lose all your funds.

I feel sorry for you but its time you move on to some another gambling site which is allowed in your country.

940  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: June 14, 2023, 05:48:25 AM
And it seems the scammers know that. Just checked my email, which is ONLY registered at stake, nowhere else, and what do I see? A fake monthly mail from "stake"from last Friday.
You had created a topic in the January month of this year: Fake telegram messages from "stake.com", do not click
You had received fake monthly bonus message on telegram during then, and now you received similar type of message on your email account. Have you also received the phishing bonus email in the November month of last year? I'm a platinum III rank user at Stake, but I have never received any messages like that from the scammer.

Don't know if there was a phishing email in November. I never click on links anyway.

Also the telegram message was kind of anonymous, because it was kind of a group many people got added to. There is no visual connection between user's telegram and their official stake account.

The email and username data is 100% from the stake hack several months back when a lot of user data was stolen.

Maybe it starts at platinum 4  Wink . Since these players also receive a host, but who knows right.
Anyway, I'm not stupid enough to fall for these thing, no worries. I have seen it all and this makes me very careful.

If this is because of the data leak, then stake.com should take it seriously and inform their users that they may receive phishing emails and they should not click on any such phishing links or involved in any offers  (fake ofcourse) offered.

The point is that you are clever enough to know which email is real, which is a phish email and how to react to it, there may be many gamblers who are unaware of this, and they may fall for this trap.

If Stake.com publish that this attack can happen to their users, many will be saved as most of them will have beforehand knowledge of it.
