Board/team/coregroup call it whatever, the shit is exactly the same.

I have never seen a token/coin having a board (Please send your proofs if you any). People should please stop talking about board.

There's been a lot of dictatorship here

I think what we need now is having an official team (Core developer, ad manager, .....) and each person in the group should work mostly in it's field while feeding back the community. The community needs to know those working for this project. The names too should be on the official website. It'll give us a better reputation.

Oh and midmir, nice to see you made a new user to support your crap.

Yeah, luckily for me LoveandPeace2018 and Mooncoin_Foundation, arcmetal, Sentti, asgwinner and so on are all my profiles.

My crap is simple - decentralized in nature project will stay decentralized.

All TO accounts are less than 6 months old.

Instead, can you argue reasonably on the 100% valid arguments which Mooncoin_Foundation and arcmetal provided?
No, you can't simply because those are valid principles. Systems with single point of failure - fail.

After you can not attack the arguments you simply ignore them and you are going against the person. Something the Latins used few thousand of years ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_hominem

So Barrysty1e did not contacted coinmarketcap to change the logo. Who did it then? Or is a secret.

Mooncoin foundation you're invited to join the board. Any other long term supporters can apply here.

Who are you to invite? The director of directors?
After Mooncoin_Foundation clearly stated multiple times that he is against this stupid idea and politely explained to you again and again why with 100% valid arguments.

Such structures in the world are the reason Bitcoin was invented in the first place.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 Unbelievable risk/reward ratio. 37159 funded adresses. on: August 03, 2017, 07:11:41 AM
MOONCOIN IS DECENTRALIZED PROJECT AND WILL REMAIN AS SUCH.
Quote from: Jasperrr
No, it will not, Mooncoin will have a board. It will still have the full capability for users to submit their ideas and wishes. The community will still be polled for their opinion. But a board will oversee things, to stay clear of the mess. And avoid endless discussions like the logo issue. If you do not agree, feel free to fork.

You still not get it yes?
If you want to be director so badly, found a company, start ICO, issue token on top of ethereum and get the fuck out of Mooncoin because WE are tired of you ignoring everyone's opinion here on BTCtalk.

Few months old accounts will not decide the fate of something they did not created and obviously do not understand. This power hunger and greed makes you irrational and manipulative.

Littlestan, please do not quote me and talk to me.

At least not before you revert the logo, stop with the stupid actions and educate yourself in the cryprtocurrencies subject.

Same goes for you, stop acting like a douche and hold a normal conversation. Regarding the logo issue, there has been a revote for the logo and the new design won again. So please quit that discussion and move forward.
Say what? I logged in for that "revote" and here were the choices given:

Guess which one I voted for.

LOL. I think "M-coin" would be nice name for those logos.

LOL! And even no option for the old logo. And single person decided that the logo must be changed.
LOL!

Thank you arcmetal, for showing this obvious manipulation

OMG

Jasperrr, are you the one who contacted coinmarketcap to change the logo?

Did you see the Mooncoin_Foundation proposition regarding the logo immediately was supported by 3 users and no one is against other than you - the Discord TO newbies with 2 months old btctalk accounts, directors wannabes. You are not only arrogant but harmful so far and I strongly suggest you to fork Mooncoin or create your own coin. Let me guess you can't do neither of those. Go trolling on another coin then. We do not need you.

Big-moon-discord, what vote? "Do you want democracy vote"? I saw no clear definition of democracy. Why 12 members and not for example 13? Because you think you can decide on behalf of the Mooncoin community?
You guys are delusional.

THIS IS NOT COMPANY BACKED, PRIVATE CRYPTOCURRENCY.
If you want to use private money it is ok. You can find many private tokens on coinmarketcap.

MOONCOIN IS DECENTRALIZED PROJECT AND WILL REMAIN AS SUCH.

You can self proclaim yourselves as kings if you like but this will not change the above fact.

OK then Littlestan, once again you are failing to do anything constructive like conversation, I am ignoring you from now on.

Again, I'm not in control of anything and I don't know why you think I am. I'm just a super involved Mooninite.

Like you, right?

OK Who contacted coinmarketcap to change the logo?

I honestly don't know.

It is some director from the Discord. Do what it takes to fix it.
Let's not rush into harmful actions towards Mooncoin anymore.

Also, in my opinion, if to return a blue Moon logo (with some slight changes of shape and color, proposed by Tomorrowman),
MOON could gain at least 30-40 percent in price.
There is a lot of traffic from Coinmarketcap where people see mostly the name and the logo, a current logo at coinmarketcap (no one from experienced users approved it at Bitcointalk and many were saying against it) doesn't 'catch' people, it doesn't look great especially when it's of small size, and looks just like one of many other not interesting coins logos at Coinmarketcap.

I Agree 100% on this.

+1

I agree , Twitter Mooncoinitalia account update with blue MOON logo  Roll Eyes

Thank you agswinner!

Besides the effort of me and other users to stop the logo change they still did it and the damage is already done but I hope common sense will prevail and they will revert it back on coinmarketcap, twitter and elsewhere.

Seeing as I'm holding and managing the MCF, I'm interested to hear how you would see a donation fund with a single address under
the control of multiple people.

Fellow Mooners, do you see how incompetent those guys are?

Littlestan, Big-moon-discord, Jasperrr, ...
Why don't you just fork Mooncoin to anything else and then play as directors all day long?
Do you want us to help you with the fork?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 Unbelievable risk/reward ratio. 37159 funded adresses. on: August 02, 2017, 06:35:39 PM
The results are in. 42 people voted. 40 in favour of a board, 2 against.

The result is clear that there is an obvious demand for a board.

https://www.poll-maker.com/results1133901xA98F30AA-47#tab-2

The board selection process begins now. There will be a total of 12 equal seats- no CEO.

If you want to become a board member, post what qualifies you for the position on this forum.

Members will be chosen based on merit - qualification, experience, and loyalty to mooncoin.

If we don't reach the maximum number of seats, anyone who posts an application will get a seat on the board, unless people feel strongly against the application.

Be prepared to have your application scrutinized by the community and have evidence prepared if it is requested.

Barry has a seat already.

Board selection will last as long as is needed.

Bulshit.

The poll is titled "Do you support a community board?"

It says nothing about 12 members and no CEO.

Is this your decision Big-moon-discord (Date Registered:    May 26, 2017)? Why not 13 members? Do you see what I am talking about?

40 "votes" can not decide for community of thousands. I was not aware of such poll.
The poll is not legit.

This TO simply is not going to happen.

Mooncoin is not company nor is yours to decide its fate by centralizing it.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 Unbelievable risk/reward ratio. 37159 funded adresses. on: August 02, 2017, 03:54:59 PM
The software implement decentralized system. The network consist of equal nodes.
There are not master nodes present in the network, there are not nodes available more equal than others.

The same is with the Mooncoin community. The users are equivalent.

The twitter, the logo, the official website, "mooncoin" fund controlled by single person, ... and now Mooncoin board of directors (lol), ... it seems like few people trying to TO and taking decisions on behalf of the Mooncoin community without no one delegate them such rights.

The actions taken so far bring Mooncoin in wrong directions. The intentions of those people are not clear.

Board of directors of Mooncoin. Enforced and populated by accounts few months old.

This ridiculous proposition is denied.

Don't bother to answer me pls.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 35000+ funded addresses. LTC, then DOGE, then MOON! on: July 12, 2017, 06:54:23 AM
The logo you forced is just not ok. From any objective POV.
The blue moon logo was going to have much bigger impact when Mooncoin reach the asian markets than this UGLY THING.
I am strongly appealing to revert back the twitter and coinmarketcap to the previous logo.
No need of contest at all. At any point of time new logos can be proposed and accepted or rejected by the community.

Besides, the opportunity to have Unicode char which can be used as both ticker symbol and logo must not be easily overthrown.

Char    Dec            Hex                Name
☽   &# 9789   &# 263D       FIRST QUARTER MOON

Thank you,

Nobody forced it, the only one with access is the dev.
You think this is an UGLY THING:

That is your opinion and you have every right to think that.

I think that blue crescent looks like absolute dog shit. Yes it has the benefit of being a Unicode char but it's absolutely horrid and I think it will scare away investors.

If I see this ugly thing without knowing what it is I will get exactly zero association with the Moon and with the cryptocurrencies. Not to mention the colors.
During the last price spike the Mooncoin was with the blue logo so no one was scared.

So is Mooncoin going to go with the Yellow/Gold colour logo which obviously is nothing like the moon or the mini-cresent shaped icon with a near electric blue background with no feeling at all?

In the space there is more than one moon.

What color you suggest

Is there anyone here who can help me with a problem i have with my mooncoin wallet please?.

This is what happened: I installed my mooncoin wallet (version 0.10.5.0) in my laptop and also created my password. Then, i sent my  mooncoins from coinexchange.io to my wallet and i never got my coins on it. However, my password was no longer activated after synchronizing my wallet so i had to delete my wallet from my laptop and download it again.

coinexchange.io support team told me This withdrawal has been processed correctly and the coins are "Not Redeemed Yet".

Consequently, i have my new wallet but i have not my coins that i sent from coinexchange.io.

What should i do?

Did you delete the wallet.dat file? If so new wallet.dat will be generated and if the coins are sent to the old one's address they are probably lost forever. You want to keep you wallet.dat. It is the key for the coins.

Newbies welcome but you need to RTFM

thanks for answering me back.
yes, i deleted the first wallet so i had to download a new one.
coinexchange.io support team told me that my coins are  "Not Redeemed Yet" which means they have not been spent from my account.
any suggestion please?

I am not sure what you mean. If the exchange sent you the coins they should provide you with transaction ID. Do you have the transaction ID?
Again, if the coins are sent to address which belongs to the initial wallet.dat and you do not have this file anymore the coins are locked indefinitely.

I am definitely for the current BLUE logo. The Moon.

Char    Dec            Hex                Name
☽   &# 9789   &# 263D       FIRST QUARTER MOON

yeah me too .. really like the current one .. no need to change

Why the new ugly logo with no moon on it is in use on Twitter Huh
Anyway, I am going to use the "old" one for my Mooncoin based project.
