41  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 11, 2016, 02:57:30 AM
Yes it matters and its very important for the users of the bitcoin, we need the price to stay having the demand.
The bitcoin is bought and sold on the price so yes we need it.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 11, 2016, 02:51:51 AM
I use bitcoin because
it is has many benefits.

Yes, Most of us uses bitcoin because it has a lot of benefits.
Here are some of the advantages of bitcoin that I love .

1). Good for investment
2). Anonymous and decentralized
3). Easy to access
4). Low Fees
5). Most stable among all cryptocurrency
6). Can be the future of money
I think the sixth reason is probably the most important, bitcoin is giving us a glimpse of the future of currencies and if this is truly where we are headed then the possible rewards for all the adopters are huge.
I'm also having this feeling and I think this can happen with some luck, the bitcoin grows everyday and everything will be digital in the future so...
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: November 04, 2016, 09:14:45 PM
To be honest, there are no smart ways to gamble, due to the fact its based on luck there is not way to do it smart if you are asking me..
Its of course also how you are looking towards it but overall there is no method.

45  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: November 04, 2016, 07:57:40 PM
Is it worth putting money in right now? I'm considering it but I'm not sure if it is worth waiting for a dip and then making money off of that. So far the market is giving me confidence, however I am getting increasingly nervous and I don't know if it is worth the risk for something that is quite erratic.

I am definitely leaning towards taking advantage of this opportunity right now, though.

You should buy now, there may not be any dip lower than this
Year end price will be at least 1500-3000
I don't think anyone wants to miss that train.....

Buying right now can be good but I do not think that we gonna reach the price of 1500-3000 this year its just way too much if you are asking me.
We should wait on a better moment for selling.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 04, 2016, 07:43:55 PM
Yes the price matters of the bitcoin and I think that its pretty important to have the price so we can see what is happening with it due to the fact that people are buying and selling on it.
If we do not have a price there will be less more buyers..
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 04, 2016, 06:57:55 PM
The bitcoin is used for criminal activities but this is not something that is very wrong because its logical and not something that is bad for the economy of it.
Its just that it should not happen too much.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: October 19, 2016, 09:15:19 AM
I don't think gambling should be considered as sickness. When you find out someone is gambling, you can't just say something like "Oh my god, you're gambling? You're so sick. You have to seek professional help." It doesn't work that way. Too much gambling is the one that can be considered as sickness. Like when you get that urge to gamble every minute and you can't fight it.
I agree and first of all the people who are gambling made there own choice and they wanted to gamble so if they want to spend there money that way you cannot blame gambling for it.
Gambling is not a sickness because if people want to stop they can do it.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: October 04, 2016, 10:21:27 AM

50  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: September 20, 2016, 10:49:25 AM
It is never so useful to borrow bitcoin cause borrowing bitcoin means you have to pay it back plus the rent too.
Only borrow when you really have to borrow and need to use it.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: September 09, 2016, 12:19:36 PM
If US dollar would crash hard then their would be panic and chaos. Essentially this could be very good for bitcoin and people who owe bitcoin. big investors might start to look at it more and price will go up bit by bit. also more people will use it then if big investors invest in it and it will be known more global.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 29, 2016, 11:43:27 AM
If given a choice to walk away with either Bitcoin or gold of equivalent value, what would you pick?

Asians and Westerners were asked in Taipei in Chinese and English if they would take Bitcoin or gold home with them that day, and the answer might surprise you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GiC8dqN9A

We just shot a video outside the Taipei 101 skyscraper area here and gave people a chance to answer if they would walk away with either Bitcoin or gold- and why.

If you were approached and were offered the same deal, would you walk away with Bitcoin or gold in your pocket, and why???

Hi.

This topic was mentioned many times.

Bitcoin vs Gold ...

Bitcoin is not a gold.
Gold is not a Bitcoin.

You cannot but gold and BTC into same basket.

Those are totally different things.

What would you pick that is not a strange questrion because there will come some point that you need to decide witch one you want to use for the rest of your life are you just keeping it with the gold or do you also want to make sure that you have enough bitcoins to make money with i dont know witch one i would pick because i am that young for a decision.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Predictions on: July 21, 2016, 10:33:25 AM
I think that we are going to see the Bitcoin price being $800 in 2016, I hope that it is going to be even higher.
I will sell at the next rise because I can use the money.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: July 06, 2016, 01:10:02 PM
No, by 2030, 10 btc will be worth about $16000.

where did you come up with this amount in that time price may be on 5 digits and you came with round amount of 16000
great but not that great

Very true I just think it is so little that it will that 1.600 dollars in 15 years.

I hope that it will just go to 1 BTC = 8.000 dollars that will be great.
I think that you will need allot more coins then just ten if you want be a millionaire in the future. I suggest that you invest in allot more coins if you want to go for that chance to become a millionaire.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 29, 2016, 11:40:27 AM
As the title say, what is the proper way to teach someone about what is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is such an ethereal, abstract concept that it's always quite difficult to explain to average people

I mean, how do you explain to an everyday average human being that the Blockchain has made it possible for decentralised, autonomous corporations to exist?

How do you explain that, right now, all over the world, there are individuals who are using their GPU's to literally MINE THE INTERNET itself for digital assets that are convertible into any fiat currency?

How do you explain to the average joe that, because of the Blockchain, he now has the exact same power as any central bank in the word to CREATE and initiate value out of thin air?

How do you explain that, because of the blockchain, one day, the washing machine in your kitchen is going to be fitted with a CPU allowing it to run software that will allow it to communicate with other machines via the blockchain.. which will allow this washing machine to detect when it has run out of detergent... place an order for a refill... and then PAY for that refill - with money that it has mined all by itself. How do you explain that to the average Joe?

What will the average Joe think of you when you tell him that, one day, his household appliances, machines and devices will be able to contribute to paying household bills with money that they have generated themselves? Cheesy

There is no way to "explain" bitcoin to the average Joe. You have to SHOW them the power of bitcoin and unless you are engaged in sophisticated development on the blockchain, then maybe you also are yet to realise the true power of the blockchain and need to be "taught." I feel strongly that 90% of the bitcoin community aren't 100% aware of the true capability of this protocol, which is why most people struggle to explain bitcoin to their peers
It is not difficult to teach people about the bitcoin because the only thing you have to tell them is that there is a coin that calls bitcoin and that is worh a value of dollars and you can pay things with it
online and sometimes into the stores. If you are telling them this they know enough to know that bitcoins is worth dollars.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 20, 2016, 09:38:24 AM
Buying Bitcoin will be only nice if there will be more people that is going to buy it and when the price is low so the chance is higher that you can earn some more money with it and that is perfect.
But of course it is hard to know what is going to happen later in the future with Bitcoin but that is just the risk that you have to take.
57  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: June 06, 2016, 11:20:47 AM
What you do with BTC

I usually get BTC for various services (sig campaign, translations..), or from alts I get - usually mined - and hold.
Tiny amounts are used for playing speculation on alt markets Smiley
The best thing that you can do now with Bitcoin is to hold it and that is nice because the value is going to be higher soon and you can even see now that it is rising slowly.
There are also a lot of people that is trading or gambling with it so you can do actually many things with Bitcoin.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2016, 12:52:56 PM
Still the Op is a newbie.
He created this topic in February and now it's May.

If he were active enough than his rank could be somewhere in full member, sr. member, hero member.
Please correct me If I am wrong.

Than I would be suggesting him to start sig. campaign.

But I think he is not active anymore after posting the topic.
I'll be honest, I think it was someone trying to run a second account, but ended up getting bored of it or didn't think it was worth the effort and stopped with the account.

I've tried to run a second account, but I too lost interest. It just isn't worth it, and I abandoned the account in its infancy. it simply isn't worth it, and to be honest, I'd rather have a part-time job instead of running another account. Make more money for less effort.
It is hard to double your Bitcoins now and that is because the value of Bitcoin is not rising now so it will also takes a long time when it will have a higher value and that have to change.
But it is still hard to know what will happen for sure and that is the problem.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: May 09, 2016, 01:24:11 PM
I buy Bitcoins to make some extra money of course so I can life and nice and stable life in the future. That is the only reason I make use of Bitcoin.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 on: April 13, 2016, 12:31:21 PM
I do not see this happen at all, its just unrealistic and not possible at all in my eyes.
