1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / RX 470 ROG Strix OC 1250/1270 MHz 4GB Good for mining? on: November 24, 2016, 05:24:35 PM
Is the Asus RX 470 ROG Strix OC 4GB card any good for mining?
Was going to get a GIGABYTE Radeon R9 380X Windforce 980MHZ 4GB 5.7GHZ for the same price.

But the Asus doesn't have a back plate so would that make any difference if I get a good enough board to support it and fan system to compensate this

I'm new to mining (want to do ETH or to a lesser degree ZEC if it can hold until Nov 30th that is) and know that the version of card is more important then the actual mhz from what I have gathered so far. As many factors are involved when it comes to mining including how much power the card can maintain all day running 24/7.

Look what I found. 8 GPU secret revealed! Smiley
So what are you saying?
That if you get this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0182NRGYO/
Then you can get 8 GPU's to be operational in a configuration just like this one?

Isn't this request something that is compared to wanting to talk to god?
I think you would need to travel to the other world to do this. Something like what Dr.Strange did in his movie.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wow ,almost 30,000 unconfirmed trans on: November 24, 2016, 02:53:44 PM
It is funny that my sends have been confirmed but my web wallets are not receiving them and just showing them as pending. So they are there but my wallet is not accepting them.
It is very strange indeed. Undecided

Lol that's because your web wallet is terrible. Let me guess, blockchain.info? They always have problems. Maybe it's someone new this time though haha. Try a better wallet explorer (and a better wallet).
I've had no problems sending Bitcoins using blockchain.info, just gotta set the fees yourself and add enough.
Biggest problem for me has been withdrawing coins from services that set a dynamic fee.
It's not blockchain.info as the web wallet.

The support person that I contacted said they saw the problem but needs to have their tier 1 level support look into it and resolve the issue.
It has been pending (the first three) for 56 hours now and the last and fourth one for 24 hours now. I have not sent anything to this wallet until this has been unblocked from being sent to my available balance and not just stuck in pending as shown in my transactions log.

What's your rate for btc with paypal?
I just hope you aren't one of those sellers that ask for all this i.d before allowing someone to buy because that is simply annoying when you are wanting to buy an anonymous currency.
You would like to stay anonymous.  Angry

I created two wallets with them, so yeah. 100's of wallets can be actually owned by one person.

So the numbers are indeed misinterpreted.

1174  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: November 23, 2016, 09:49:01 PM
But this statement is just like saying if you should believe in your currency for your own country.

You can believe in anything that you want but if others want to believe it in then that is their choice as well.

I for one do believe in it and have invested alot into it so far. So i would think that is the reason why I do have belief in it thus far. Because I have put money into it and have had successful transactions with it thus far as well.

My experience with it has been positive with it so far.

Hello there I just wanted to know best site where I can exchange my bitcoins to ether and ether to bitcoin quickly with the lowest fees.

you can try https://shapeshift.io/#/coins
they offer competetive rates and their exchange is legit and very fast
not sure about the LOWEST fees but it is well worth a test

He already mentioned shapeshift already and used them but did not like them due to their high rate.
This is from it being instant.

I put in for WD on fridays myself, this past week i was paid early sunday morning. I would always have your wd in by friday to make sure youre in for the week
Not sure if our time-zones are similar but I always request a payout on Saturday Morning and it's always delivered on or before Monday.
Someone mentioned already you can cancel your Withdrawals anyways.
So why not just request a wthdrawal on Friday morning and if it doesn't go thru on Sunday just cancel it and re-request. It doesn't seem to be that hard for a solution to do if they don't have a set date for withdrawals yet.
1179  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: bitcoin and ether exchange on: November 23, 2016, 04:57:41 PM
I wanted to use sites which can instantly convert and give me bitcoin in exchange or ethereum and vice versa.I was using shape shift for that but the problem there is fee for me.Paying fee there takes all my profit or even causes me loss.
Use an exchange is your best option. The site you were using is a crytocurrency convertor and not a true exchange.
I was about to use one that is similar to yobit because most have ETH and I use bitcoin directly to buy whomever is selling ETH on that site.
Haven't tried it myself but it has been around for a long time.
1180  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to buy small bitcoin on: November 23, 2016, 04:45:42 PM
I can offer you 5$ btc or pm for your paypal
I actually offered less than that and I think we will do the paypal deal soon.
