They are the biggest exchange out there. So what do you think will happen to the price bitcoin if they just die and fall over? Remember Bitfinex?

I can see this happening to ETC but not ETH. There are too many holding it and big business has their hands in it such as coinbase. They are too far invested into it that it can not fail. They won't let it.

They as well can be used for illegal activities. It is the means behind the form of payment for those goods and services. That is all it really comes down too.

I would explain it by relating it too something that they know and use in their normal lives.

This is a rather strange question. But I think if you were starving and in the same situation as those crash victims were in the mountains and the only way to survive was to eat the others for food then your answers would be different.
