362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laser-etching a Cold Storage Coin on: March 29, 2019, 11:06:20 PM
Well, that's a first to me. How much do you think it would cost for making a cold storage like that? Do you think that someone actually did put his coins in a cold storage like that?
I would rather prefer still on using Ledger than on this coin cold wallet storage. You can only store up 1-2 PK front and back. The price might not really be too far from each other. So on practicality $60 Hardware wallet
would already be enough.

Seeing those laser etching or printing is very fancy in the eyes.
363  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best lighting network wallet on: March 29, 2019, 10:49:43 PM
The best bitcoin lightning network wallet I believe depends on quick user friendly interface and features but must not take away from the user the essential dynamics that separate the wallet from others that don't support lighting transactions.
I havent tested out Blue wallet thats why i cant make any conclusion but reading up above on some comments about Blue then it turns out that Eclair
is a better option which ive been using for sometime and as being said i dont have any complaints yet this already provide on what you need.
We are indeed need of comparison among the two which would really be helpful.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 100k sports betting experiment on: March 29, 2019, 10:44:59 PM
So it is like a secret picks that will be revealed once you finish the challenge? I have no ideas what is the purpose of sharing a sport betting challenge secretly. But of course it is your own right, hope it goes as expected.
Anyway what is the purpose of putting your contact? Are you selling the picks privately? Or maybe members here can invest on your challenge?

Quote
Each time I post the summary of the (previous) day, you will see a code in the end of post that looks like gibberish. That code contains the picks, which I will not reveal. Maybe I will show to a mod after the 6 months.
So whats the point on posting this thread?
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: March 29, 2019, 10:42:31 PM

Ill rather spoil it on my own until the gambling house bust me up.Just remember that Dice game is very addictive, since you are
just starting with gambling then better be aware with possible gambling addiction.Just play for entertainment and dont
chase up for profits.
366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Thoughts on the QuadrigaCX CEO suspicious death??? on: March 29, 2019, 10:25:39 PM
I think I've read that he has been diagnosed with some kind of disease. So him dying is not that unbelievable unless it was planned very long time before.

I also don't think that anyone could be this unprofessional, to be honest. Even If he was, the team and the board members agreeing to this make no sense.

I don't see how they are going to pull this off though, with the blockchain and the transparency coming with it, 190m vanishing without anyone knowing anything about it is impossible.
I think if the CEO is already ill and knows that he could be deceased any time soon he would leave the company to someone he trust.
Or at least let the company continue and leave the funds behind for his family and for the company to continue to operate .
Just think about it if you are in the business and you already knew that you are ill you would do something about it and what's the point of taking other peoples money if you are already dead?
Unless someone is using him or he is only faking his own death?
Suspicious transactions was made way long before this incident happen which means it isnt planned yet being ill might be a reason for you to secure out funds for your family
or for any other reason. There are recent updates uncovered that this exchange was intended for lawlessness which means it isnt really tended to be listed on the very first place.
So it do uncovers the true color.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Using bitpay creditcard for paying everything in BTC without fiat-money? on: March 29, 2019, 10:12:47 PM
I see some utility in Bitcoin based debit cards, but the main point here is that you aren't spending Bitcoin, but still fiat with high fees. If you already own a non Bitcoin debit card and it works just fine, then use that one instead.

In this case you're using an intermediary service on top of another intermediary service. You ask permission from BitPay to execute payments, and BitPay asks permission from Visa or whatever other base financial institution.
If we do think thoroughly it is really just still the same the only difference is the convenience that it gives when using Bitpay yet you can load some funds using up Bitcoin just like on what we are doing
with our traditional debit cards.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: March 29, 2019, 09:38:29 PM
I do believe that we all has the desire of seeing bitcoin and cryptocurrencies market be in good condition.
*sigh*

OP, you are full of hope but short on reality.  I had to take a look at preev, since I don't frequently check the price of bitcoin.  As I'm writing this, bitcoin is at $4083.  That's a fantastic price, and I'm very happy it finally broke $4k.  However, if you look at where it's been for the past year I don't think you can call this a bull market or even a bullish trend with any momentum behind it.  It seems quite possible that we're experiencing normal (and random) market fluctuations, with the probability still very high of dropping back to $3500 or lower.

What I'm saying is that OP is crying wolf, driven by emotion.  Hopefully he's not an active trader, else he's going to get pounded by the market.
This is why im quite tired on reading up these kind of speculative approach or insights towards bitcoins price without even trying to check the chart on how long we have been here on this ranges.
Comparing it on previous prices then we cant really consider this current situation as a start of bullish trend as you said this is just like a typical day on crypto market seeing some
small volatility but theres always some time on huge price swings but it doesnt indicate anytime that we are already heading for market reversal.

370  Economy / Economics / Re: South Africa, leading world in crypto adoption, a high-potential crypto market? on: March 29, 2019, 11:43:49 AM
South Africa is a very unstable country, with a high probability of political instability. Also, the high crime rate means that a disproportionate amount of BTC may make its way to the dark market.
When it comes to crime rate this high, then theres always a probability but who knows on how they do handle it.

371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on who will be BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019? on: March 29, 2019, 10:18:29 AM
I guess I'll be rooting for the only girl in the list. I also like Tyson Williams but there are so many controversies behind him even though he's a good athlete.

I'll go for Dina as well, that Tyson do have these controversies. Grin

Controversies:

Mental health issues
Alcoholism issues
Illegal drug use
Criticized for being arguing performing-enhancing drugs should be allowed in sports
Called to be removed from the 2015 shortlist of Sports Personality of the Year nominees for his “homophobic and sexist” comments
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canadian music artist Drake invested in an esports betting startup!!! on: March 29, 2019, 10:02:15 AM
I think esports is already a big thing,,, in my country you can find TV ads, and the newspapers are talking about our players like they are football players;)

And you know, things will get even bigger for esports. But will I bet on them? No, not really. I do not trust these guys to not cheat or throw away the games if they were paid a lot of money, or worse, if they were threatened by the mafia. I would definitely throw my game if I were threatened to have my family harmed. Did anyone ever think of that in esports I wonder?
Anything is possible to happen even on just typical physical sports these fixed games are plausible and so as with esports. No matter which side you would tend to
bet theres always the risk for games to be rigged nor planned.

For affiliates, do you think there is going to be a bigger earning potential in the esports side of casino affiliate marketing?
Possible but affiliate market would be hard just like as usual with other similar referral system because sudden increase of demand doesnt mean that you would
succeed into this line.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CloneStorm Trader - A platform that is different! on: March 29, 2019, 09:12:14 AM
Not bad pricing compared to other similar service but i highly doubt on using this up.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: March 29, 2019, 08:18:00 AM
Your thoughts, guys? Do you think bitcoin will be soaring high again in the near future?
Gold has never been considered as an option to replace fiat.People do see its value but it would just retain as it should be.Government will surely
not allow such thing to happen. Bitcoin is great tech but we cant presume that this is the 2nd thing comes to fiat when it comes to financial system.
It would really just acts as an alternative always.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: March 28, 2019, 11:50:00 PM
My question is, do you watch the games your gambling on?

Depending on the sports i do bet on but talking on your favorite sports then most of the time i do tend or like to see it live. Why? You do really enjoy and feel the thrill of
your bet when you do saw your team is on winning or losing side.If i do bet on other sports then i do just simply neglect or just see the results directly.
376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto friendly Banks that wont still your money the complete list for 2019 on: March 28, 2019, 11:43:14 PM
Just another useless thread. I didn't even bother reading what you posted after reading the title of the thread. Why would someone want "banks" if they are using crypto currencies. Wasn't crypto currencies made to get rid of these disgusting banking system where they rip off people? You lose your financial freedom if financial institutions get involved.
Making a crypto currency banking system will just make the whole crypto currency thing centralized.
Banks would never been friendly when it comes to crypto. They might made some decisions but those are just good on neutral side rather than on fully entrusting crypto.
They know the disadvantages and threats of crypto to their institution. They might be good but the evil lurks inside anytime and can reverse the decision towards crypto instantly as they like.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP FOLLOWING BITCOIN WITH SENTIMENTS! on: March 28, 2019, 07:44:49 PM
As an investor, you wont really able to avoid these kind of analysis came from other sources or even to popular people on the net specially into this crypto field.
If you are smart enough you can able to utilize those news or fundamentals to be part of your investment strategy. You can either apply or just simply ignore
depending on your own discretion.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela hit by new nationwide powercut for more than three days on: March 28, 2019, 07:27:44 PM
Will this make any impact on the global cryptocurrency economy as electricity is a much required resource for the successful functioning of bitcoin and major other cryptocurrencies in the market. I believe such scenario will never happen with any of the countries around.
No, it wont really make such impact.I know what you are thinking which Venezuela do have that cheap electricity which is ideal for miners on that place but
the numbers of those miners wont really be enough.

Just look on the other side, just basing out on traditional business on that place is mainly affected.Instead of recovery and with such powercut it mainly affect their operation.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does blockchain technology really helps gambling? Or is it just making it worst? on: March 28, 2019, 07:14:02 PM
If it didnt able to help gambling then we wont see any crypto based gambling site nowadays. We've seen the numbers bloated when it comes to crypto casinos or gambling sites as of this moment which
signifies on how this tech do help out this industry.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what guides do you use for trading signals on: March 28, 2019, 02:29:26 AM
I think a great group for trading signals is with someone who knows how to trade and is an expert in that field but of course, it has to be someone who is recommended by one of your friends. And don't ever try to join some groups which you don't have any close friends to trust because you might be their target without you knowing.
