206  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $28.83 paypal WTB Bitcon on: October 28, 2012, 08:36:05 PM
anyone willing to trade my paypal for bitcoins?
207  Economy / Service Discussion / dwolla-mt.gox on: October 28, 2012, 08:32:21 PM
so I did everything to get verified.....waited my month..... my first dwolla to mtgox  never showed up.   mtgox is telling me it has already been processed and i've recieved the funds.   There is no sign of this anywhere on my mt.gox account.  the only transaction it shows is the bitinstant order i placed yesterday.

anyone else ever have this problem?  I really hope they dont rip me off.

212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / confused once again jsonrpc (bounty =ad space) on: October 26, 2012, 04:59:36 PM
alright i've been trying everything to get either bitcoind  or my blockchain.info wallet  to communicate with my website   with no luck.

when i try to use bitcoind it doesnt recognize my .conf file

when i try to use blockchain.info wallet   i get this error

Invalid return payload: enable debugging to examine incoming payload JSON parsing did not return correct jsonrpc response object thrown in on line 0

Am I completely missing something?  Do I need to download jsonRpc library or something?    If I do   where would i install it?

This has been driving me crazy for about a week   everytime I think I have it figured out.......I run into the same problems.

I'm trying to make a bitcoin faucet.    I have all the code  and database uploaded.  I used greedis faucet off of github.

when i try to use the blockchain.info wallet      i  put blockchain.info as the host   is that wrong?  should i use an ip address?

Id really appreciate some help  I'm at my wits end.

1 btc to help me troubleshoot, and walk me through my values  in my config.php file  server.php  file  and my header.php file   my bitcoin.conf  file

So whoever helps me get this basic version of the faucet running successfully will get a banner ad slot on the page for a year.
Once i get this basic core running  I will work to update it    but id like to have this up and running asap.

213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind ? on: October 26, 2012, 01:19:48 AM
tried saving the conf file to a txt   and then back to conf   with no luck.    Tried dropping the -server part and still the same error.
for some reason its not recognizing my .conf file   I'm the administrator  and run bitcoind as admin still doesnt help.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind ? on: October 26, 2012, 12:32:19 AM
its exits at the rpc stage  and tells me to use this random password..... soo i entered the random password and defualt username into my bitcoin.conf  file   but its still telling me that it cant read my .conf and i should create one if it doesnt exist.     its in the right directory  and its not  a  .txt   file    its .conf     not sure whats going on with it
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / bitcoind ? on: October 25, 2012, 05:18:05 PM
I'm using windows 7 with the current version of bitcoin client.    when i start bitcoind.exe a blank box shows up.  Nothing else happens.
when i go to close it,  i get a message saying bitcoind has stopped responding.    Are there any files I might be missing to use bitcoind?
Thanks.

217  Bitcoin / Project Development / trouble starting a faucet on: October 23, 2012, 06:41:00 PM
I've been trying to put together a faucet. I'm using greedis code from github.   I keep getting an error that that the client timed out. i've tried just about everything but i cant seem to make my client communicate with the website.   In the readme.txt it says to set your ip in  the header.php and server.php      I'm not really sure where it goes.   I've placed all my info into config.php  and set up my bitcoin.conf file.     any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
I have the wallet running on my computer,    should it be loaded onto the server?  A little confused   and a lot more difficult than i had originally thought it would be.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / OpenSSl help on: October 21, 2012, 12:01:51 PM
my openSSL can't seem to generate random.  I keep getting an error.
After doing some reading I found out it has to do with the .rnd file.
I tried redownloading the software into the c: drive but it still wont find or recognize the .rnd

any advice?  I'm trying to finish a faucet but I can't seem to get around the SSL error.
Is SSL a must for this to work? Or can I leave out the SSL values in bitcoin.conf?   Will that comprimise my wallet?

Thanks.

220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / bitcoin qt -remove a passphrase? on: October 20, 2012, 07:29:17 PM
if you have encrypted your wallet can you ever completely remove a passphrase. I've tried putting a space where <new passphrase> would go, but I just cant seem to remove having a passphrase completely.

thanks
