423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Monetary scientist sees bitcoin price at $27k in four months time on: October 17, 2017, 09:04:48 AM

As someone who's mining a bit of Bitcoin everyday that sort of prediction get me so hyped. But I would still be mining and holding at a low price too.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I go to barrow bitcoins on: October 17, 2017, 09:03:01 AM

On exchanges you can make a deal for a margin account, you pay to borrow some Bitcoin to make trades, but becareful if your account falls below threshold they will protect themselves and enforce a margin call and take your funds.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of news? on: October 15, 2017, 08:53:07 PM

I like Coindesk, it's a great source for up to date news and real good knowledge and explanation of how things are relevant to what's going on in the cryptospace.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: October 15, 2017, 02:17:48 PM

For me it's a so many things, first of all it's a life changer for me to be gaining wealth. It's an enjoyable hobby that benefits me personally, not only that I believe it can help changes the lives of my friends and family and that can be expanded to the world as a whole - for the better.
427  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: October 15, 2017, 02:03:21 PM

It may be a question we'll never find the answer to, and also a new that is probably always growing. I personally think a million Bitcoin are lost, a lot from the early stages of Bitcoin.
428  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 15, 2017, 08:22:06 AM

I agree because I categorize gambling and gaining an asset different, yes assets can devalue but over time Bitcoin has gained value over the long term, gambling you win or lose - mostly likely you lose since the odds are stacked against you.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 15, 2017, 06:22:00 AM

As long as two nodes are operating in the world Bitcoin will not end. 9,371 nodes in operation, backed by individuals, companies and nameless entities. It's growing everyday, not dying.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jaimie Dimon Comedy Act. Talks Bitcoin again, day after he said he would not. on: October 13, 2017, 07:07:09 PM

This is from the entity that scammed the American people with the mortgage crisis and bank bailouts. What a god damn scam and they want us to listen to them?
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we toasting at 100 Billion dollar market cap? on: October 13, 2017, 05:28:50 AM

Yeah I will definitely spend some Bitcoin to get a nice bottle of wine to celebrate the $100 billion market cap threshold. Thank you Bitcoin for everything you've done for me too.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: October 13, 2017, 05:23:50 AM

Anyone can buy .001 of Bitcoin and think of it as percentage growth not just overall net gain.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: October 13, 2017, 05:09:09 AM

Consume Bitcoin media everyday, follow what the top Bitcoin people are talking about and what they're working on. One example is Andreas Antonopoulos, he's on Twitter and a lot of his talks are on YouTube too:

434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: October 13, 2017, 04:58:15 AM

I actually see this happening on YouTube. It's because people are willing to pay for gigs in Bitcoin and also websites will reward social media influencers with Bitcoin for promoting their business.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: People think that Bitcoin Cash can disappear? on: October 13, 2017, 04:37:59 AM

Yeah it's starting become irrelevant even more quickly than I had imagined it would. Think about it though, their development has to real leadership - no real vision.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 13, 2017, 04:32:54 AM

It's not too late to buy Bitcoin. Most people still aren't knowledgeable about Bitcoin, even if they do they have a lot of common misconceptions about what it's all about. Once it's a mainstream thing it's still functions has practical use anyways.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 13, 2017, 04:21:10 AM

The same goes for the United States Dollar, the Chinese Yuan, even World of Warcraft Gold is used for criminal activity. It doesn't define Bitcoin because it's found on the black market, 80-90% of people who use Bitcoin use it for legitimate purposes.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many years Bitcoin can exist? on: October 13, 2017, 04:11:30 AM

Technically, if two people - anywhere in the world both run a Bitcoin node the entity of Bitcoin exist. Taking a look at:

https://bitnodes.21.co/

There are currently 9,316 nodes operating all over the world currently. More and more being added each day from people and companies who support the blockchain. These are people from over 100 different country and different languages that support Bitcoin. I believe as long as the internet exist Bitcoin can exist, even now we're talking about a Bitcoin Core satellite being launched too.
439  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-12] $5,419: Bitcoin Price Goes Meteoric After Hitting All-Time High on: October 13, 2017, 03:56:43 AM

I love it broke through $5,000 so fast, similarly the time it broke through $4,000 so fast... same thing could happen at $6,000.

I've also read that it was the first time Bitcoin gained $1,000 within a 24 hour period too.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: October 13, 2017, 03:47:35 AM

Television is dying too, although I would support any sort of education and raising awareness to the powerful blockchain - I just think the power of the people can do it for free with social media; YouTube, Twitter, instagram, Facebook all powerful sources to spread the word and it just take motivated people to do it.
