81  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is not limited till buying Bitcoins, it is beyond this. on: September 01, 2021, 04:49:11 PM
I agree with you. There are tons of alternatives in the cryptocurrency market. For example, NFTs are highly in demand lately as far as I know. DeFi is a completely new technology in this market and you can check out the projects also. Maybe the risk seems to be higher because of the probability of getting hacked is higher (DAO hack e.g.). But risk is the nature of this market. And you can check out more than 10 thousand altcoins also rather than only preferring to invest into Bitcoin.

If there are people who think it is too late to buy bitcoin because it is expensive then there is an opportunity that is to choose more than 10k altcoins, all of them have the opportunity to get big profits, even 90% of my crypto assets are other than bitcoin because the opportunity for profit is higher than bitcoin.
You are not wrong however you are not completely right as well, you are only looking at one side of the coin and while it is true that you can make a lot of profits with those coins you are forgetting that you can also lose all your money with those coins and that the probabilities this is the case are way higher so you need to understand it in order to know if you are willing to take such a high risk when the probabilities of actually making money with those coins is so low.
Always consider both sides. Readers may influence right away thinking that it's always profits and forget about the possibilities.
Of risking their money inside. Most of those who think that way and so lazy not to work with doing their research ended up losing
lots of money. Take things slowly and never to rush without the right ideas regarding to this market.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: August 31, 2021, 07:49:47 PM
-Digital books and kindles replaced library books

-Regular mail was replaced by email

-Previously, we took actual photos; now we take digital photos

-Digital music replaced cassettes and CDs.

-We switched to direct deposit from cash or checks.

How often do you actually have cash? It's rare that I do! The next item on this list is money.

Then... Buy Bitcoins.

Replaced but not banned, right? Anyone who wants can still use the other method as long as they are safe, still exist and can be made. That should also apply to money. The alternative may be needed in the future, you never can tell.

Still on the users end to choose between, and it's not debatable since we already seeing that alternatives are available

in many forms, speaking about money, digital processing are likely being updated from time to time and many alternatives

are being presented which includes Bitcoin and other cryptos.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PHR] PHORE BLOCKCHAIN - Private Decentralized Marketplace & Ecosystem. POS/MN. on: August 31, 2021, 07:31:31 PM
I was surprised to see the current PHR price. The decline occurred quite quickly. even towards the launch of GFN what happened to PHR was getting worse.

what is the impact of the announcement of the last 2 snapshots? as many have discussed, it turns out that the impact is quite strong beside the influence of the bitcoin market decline.

Unfortunately it was predictable, but we know very well that the price in the short term must be considered an opportunity, the project is active and the team continues to work on Graphene.
I think once we reach the Graphene listing we will see more marketing on Phore and its decentralized marketplace.

It's currently moving up, that huge dropped may affect those holders including those hunters who are keeping their coins,

moving out of panic it influenced them to ride with it, I still convinced that the team are active and still working a very good

reason to keep holding and wait for more progress and updates, the price will eventually grow..
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins survive the dip on: August 30, 2021, 06:20:16 PM
To find out the dip, look at the graph between months, weeks and days... later it can be concluded whether or not it is good to buy in the long run, If in the short term, you can analyze the 4 hour 1 hour chart even a matter of minutes... and make sure to always use a stop limit to avoid unwanted things, and stay safe,,,
Some people buy from the dip and don't care anything about why it dipping, can its recover? Month chart view is the way to goes to gauge this as many people already said in this thread, there is good coin and bad coin out there. All of them may dip but only the good ones will recover.

You need to review all those past performances of certain coins that you are aiming to invest your money, it gives you
confidence in waiting and holding till the market bounced back and give some decent profits to your investment.

If you know how to play with this kind of market movement, there's a big chance for you to earn a lot, just keep

repeating what you are doing and harvest every profits that you can get from the project that you fully supporting.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: August 30, 2021, 05:36:52 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
The bulls are back now, in today's market the coinmarketcap is predominantly green. but I'm not sure if this market is long term bull or just short term. see that the market is still vulnerable for correction and has not been able to stabilize

Still unsure and still difficult to conclude to whether the market is heading for much stronger bull or it

will again suffer with corrections and some downfall.

If you are planning for long term investment, this kind of market movement is favorable to you, no need
to worry since along the way the market will bounce up and gives you the profits that you wanted to achieved.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: August 30, 2021, 05:22:58 PM
I am bullish on bitcoin, we have established a steady bullish period since July 20 ($29k) although the direction of movement is slow but it shows the level of confidence and the freshness of the market.  The process of bulls overwhelming to the point of retracement was just an accident that accompanied the FUD.  i believe we will end our honeymoon in august with 50k bucks, it's ready
last month's bear market caused bitcoin to lose 50% of its price and it certainly wasn't a bear market like 2018. after that the bitcoin price started to recover and the price went up again. That's an early indication of why many people believe that a bear market will happen again and bitcoin will hit a higher price. but so far the bitcoin price is still stuck in the $50k price range and certainly hasn't passed ATH.

We can only specualte but we can't tell which side the market will go, there are still pressures and influenced

from the different sides of this investment business.

Traders are positive that the market is more strong compared to how it was way back 2017-18, that deep correction
may not happened again and we might see new ATH before this year may end.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum? on: August 30, 2021, 04:41:16 PM
It's too far for ADA to topple ETH but nothing is impossible
I agree with this statement.  Obviously ETH has developed and matured over time better than ADA, While ETH has operated smart contracts and is fully compatible with the explosion of Defi and gradually approaching ETH 2.0, ADA has complained that the mainnet has been upgraded level and made great progress.  Although ADA has also had a good pump this year, it is impossible to surpass ETH in the short term.  In terms of market capitalization, ETH is approximately 5 times that of ADA.  It's not easy to change that
However, in the future development, ADA is completely capable of doing that

Far from how we see it currently, as like what most have said ETH already have good support from more end users,

plus the developers still trusting this chain even they need to pay for much higher fees. ADA needs to work with lots

of investors interest to bring such huge amount in the table and surpassed ETH.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How crypto currency change your Life? on: August 30, 2021, 04:29:50 PM
At the very beginning, I started with earning in the cryptocurrency field on cryptocurrency faucets and I was having a huge referral network, but later I switched to bounties, airdrops and gradually understood how the cryptocurrency sphere works and how cryptocurrency investments works too and I started investing in cryptocurrencies, of course at first I was having a lot of problems with cryptocurrency investments and I was making lot of mistakes, but then when I got more experience I already understood how to invest in cryptocurrencies correctly and I still make investments in cryptocurrencies, as income from cryptocurrencies helps me a lot in real life and therefore I am not going to leave the cryptocurrency sphere.

The very good thing when you learn the right way, you'll be able to gain and decently enjoyed

the benefits. We all understand that in the right time, all things prosper with all the hardship that we

deal with, and with how we survive working with this industry, the outcome are sweet to those who

learn things the proper ways.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: August 29, 2021, 06:39:12 PM
Why do people lose money in crypto? the number one reason is panic, they tend to be controlled by emotion, for newbies never ever just bought something you really know nothing about, that's one of the rule, research is needed, your money is important so don't waste it with wrong decisions, if you decided to what coin to buy, don't sell with small movement crypto is volatile, make some target for losses and earning.

Indeed! In trading, the most important is do not panic. In every situation do a good decision and think it carefully. Learn how the chart goes and learn from your previous mistakes.

Do not panic if the price is too low because it will absolutely go back to its price and much higher.
When you experience something a lot, get used to it you will less likely become panic. Emotion is hard to control if you don't know why and where it coming from. Instead of trying to control your emotion, in this case, panic then you should try to embrace it and understand it. It will help you at later.

Embrace and understand there's value on why things happened, once you learn how to manage your emotion

in the long run there are many benefits, investing to something that you are aware makes you more comfortable

and lesser the chance of doing mistake panicking with some events that happened inside the market.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: August 29, 2021, 06:07:50 PM
I started putting 1k into Bitcoin every time it drops by 5k since 60k. And I ran out of funds a little while ago.

The fact that I can’t buy this dip just makes me extremely uncomfortable.

It makes me feel shifty and nervous of the fluctuations. Whereas before I looked forward to it falling so I can just buy.

I guess this is the part where I wait.
Of course you have to wait. Because we never know what the market is like. It is a natural law of ups and downs that must occur in investing. Patience is one of the keys. As long as your needs are met, I think it's still safe to wait.

No need to rush just wait till the market bounce back and bring you very decent profits from those investment that you did before,

the market will reward you there's no need to feel uncomfortable, simply leave the exchange for a while since you don't have any

money to use for your investment.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: August 27, 2021, 06:20:39 PM
No private token, let alone a centralized stablecoin, can be completely secure. Firstly, there are questions about how exactly USDT is provided with fiat. Secondly, since Tether is a private company, it may and has already had problems with US government agencies, with the Attorney General of New York State. Thirdly, USDT addresses can be frozen at the request of government agencies, so your coins do not completely belong to you in the case of USDT.

Those things that you needed to consider when trading your crypto to this stable coin.
so far tether still exist and there are traders who use this to advantage of price actions inside the exchange but most of them are experienced traders who understnad the risk, you have to deal with good research and allow yourself to understand the risk.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 27, 2021, 05:27:00 PM
And how to deal with them in conditions of too expensive transactions is a problem for small investors.

Still existing issue with small to average investors, this asset/token that still stuck inside ERC cannot move and
exchange to other coin because of transaction fees.

Things that really pissing those investors who are trying to find alternative
Ways. BSC or other chain are now available and it's been enjoyed by many, but the superiority of ETH still big and there are
big bag holders that still trusting this chain and continue to use with no problem.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose? on: August 27, 2021, 04:59:37 PM
Of course! First of all, it is important to your mental health as if you invest the last money, you will be much more nervous with every drawdown. Secondly, this way you can’t afford time to work on yourself. As when you invest “money to burn”, you can leave them for 5 or 10 years and then take your profit. One more tricky thing is credits, please, don’t take loans for investment, you may not pay off then.

credit or loans, that's too risky. If you plan to invest better to use spare money, it's more easy to let go if you are using
capital that you are capable of forgetting while you are inside this market.
Unlike with your savings or money that allocated to other things, you'll keep fearing to lose it up and with some artificial
movement you'll be move and lead you to lose your money.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Trade On Emotions on: August 27, 2021, 04:11:14 PM
yes, I also experienced that trading with emotions and end up losing money because I suddenly panic when the price of the coin goes down. I think the strategy here is you must be patient, set your target price to sell and also just be contented with your profit.

Set your target and make sure to have deeper knowledge with the asset that you choose to invest,

it's common for every individual to panic when unexpected falls take place with their investment,

but the person who has better understanding would not quickly to take the action but
instead, it will give some time as bounce or recovering will be there after some corrections.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: August 26, 2021, 05:56:30 PM
In my opinion, all coins in crypto have a very high level of risk, even BTC, but it would be nice to invest in coins that have good potential, so the risk is very small, because even if it decreases, it will have the opportunity to increase again, such as BTC, ETH, BNB, Cardano, and  polkadot, this coin has a very high integrity so that it becomes a coin that can survive in crypto.

Those coins are listed in the top assets from cmc and buying and holding those coins gives you

good chance to earn in the long run, if you are not ready with high risk it's much better to

keep these assets and leave those new projects alone.

High risk if you take part of new project that you don't have any idea but if you are still moving

forward just make sure to use money that you can afford to lose.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are MEME Coins A NEW Trend on: August 26, 2021, 05:39:37 PM
With the rise of Doge Coin, there have been countless MEME coins launch on different platform.
What are you thoughts on meme coins? Are they bad for the industry? Or Are they a gateway drug for newbies to enter the game?
I am also worried to take meme coin,  and binance also shocks me when i see binance is listing a meme coin , e.g  doge coin ,  shib inu ,  and both these coin  also have gained popularity in a short period of time, by looking these i am confused shall we use meme or not ?  After learning and watching many things i thought we shall take entry in memes coin ,  risk is every where . new bies can get a good amount in short period of time by memes coin . it's not bad to invest in memes coin

Not sure with your recommendation but if that's your personal thoughts about memes.

you might have that big nerves risking your money with this kind of projects, but with newbies
it's tough as it seems that they are gambling with their oppotunities.

the chance to lose is far higher than investing with the right memes to ride along.

97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 26, 2021, 05:02:51 PM
I was looking at staking my ethereum. The interest rate seems good and I found BlockFi.com which seems to be around 10% (not guaranteed rate though). Is there a risk of losing coins and is staking recommended? For Ethereum, which site pays the highest APR and is the most reliable/safest?

Thanks!

All forms of transactions will definitely get risk, either intentionally or not, but we can minimize this by first studying the transactions that we use, you also have to really know how to do it, I think everyone has prepared the steps in making transactions, even We will find the smallest level of risk anywhere, so any form of transaction is definitely risky, whether using ethereum, BlockFi or others.

If you don't have further knowledge then risk is much greater,

It's true that with good understanding your chance to succeed is way high,

just needed to widen your resarch if your really wanted to lessen the chance of losing your money and risking
your investment.

internet have a lots of resources to find information about things that you wanted to understand much deeper, do your DYOR.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins survive the dip on: August 26, 2021, 04:24:22 PM
Those who did not recover from the decline in market prices because they lost their idea due to a lot of competition with other coins, thus making purchasing power decrease, it is necessary to have a good idea to promote so that purchasing power will increase because they or buyers will not buy a coin if they feel that the coin will be wasted

Without a competitive mindsets from the developing teams, it's tough for those projects to continue competing with newly created projects..
They are fresh and they added up some new updates from those old assets, this kind of offering attracts new investors that's why it's very important for every developers to continue updating their work and make sure that it's still progressive in terms of innovations.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Only young and naive guy believe in high risk high return on: August 26, 2021, 03:47:41 PM
I still remember in my early days, when I lost some money by investing in shitcoins such as Terracoin, Quark and Labcoin. These projects died down after the initial hype, because as soon as the promoters were able to dump their holdings, they just moved on to other projects. And this happened a lot in 2014-15 period. A lot of the ordinary users lost their money by investing in shitcoins. And this made me extra-cautious, when good projects such as Ethereum appeared in the market. I decided not to invest in ETH, based on the previous experience with the shitcoins.

kind of mistake that we will bring up to know, learning how to move forward and not to be afraid of risking again and again,
There are traders who wisely invest with knowledge, they are more prepared as they understand that there's still possitibilties
if you don't stop doing your DYOR.

If you failed once, it doesn't mean that you will keep failing it just another way of informing you that you maybe missed  something
in doing your research, better to check it out and adjust for much better success.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: August 25, 2021, 04:20:06 PM
This. Statistically, when the graph is going down, then invest (make sure it's a financial stable company that isn't going bankrupt) or you just need to stick with top coins which is ethereum, Ada or any others in the top of marketcap. This year is almost end and untill now we are still far from all time high so i think this is the best time for us to buy. In the end though, no one really knows what the price will be today, tomorrow, or the day after.

Bitcoin is currently being actively used, many international companies are investing in bitcoin, this is certainly our hope that tomorrow's bitcoin price will be better than today, I will make bitcoin as a long term investment because i already get profit when i buy bitcoin a few last year.

Long-term investment is a good strategy to maximize your earnings. There are many possibilities that the value will continue
to grow as acceptance is really increasing. With those institutional investors now inside this industry, we expect that
the value will continue to rise but also expect some corrections while in the process, just do your homework and follow what you think is best for your investment.
