861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 09, 2020, 12:03:50 PM
^ Most of the online gambling sites are Offshore Gaming Operators. And definitely right, that not everyone is a gambling company is registered. But this is not a new story. However, even traditional gambling platforms are not duly registered when they operate.
Reviews are not so necessary to consider when looking for a legitimate gambling site, it's more of a personal experience. Reviews are being easily manipulated. Creating dummies that will provide 5 start feedbacks is easy especially here.
though it become an issue here in forum if you are a new gambling site that will be sure questioned about the legitimacy.
but i agree on you that it doesnt need to be licensed to be consider as legit and trust worthy because we have already many of active site here in forum.
862  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corona virus is fake ? on: October 09, 2020, 11:50:15 AM
This might sound funny to some people but there are lot of people in this world that believes Corona virus is fake. ( think like a red pill person ) reference from the movie "The Matrix". I'm really excited to see what you guys think about it  Wink
Those who thinks that corona is fake are the people that is "HARDHEADED" and don't wanna be under the quarantine and lockdown implemented by their government.

But trust me if they become the victim?for sure they will seek help from the government.

How about this news guys?

Even James Yap is surprised by how tall Bimby has grown

For the Krissy and Bimby fans here, what do you think about Bimby, will he be the next James Yap?
He has the height but does he have the passion in Basketball?

I'M EXPECTING A SERIOUS ANSWER.... Grin
His has no PASSION in Basketball because what He wanted is to become a FASHION Model  Grin

Kidding aside the Boy shows no Interest in following His fathers steps, there has no even a single News about Bimby is involving into basketball or even in any sports so i guess we can't expect him stepping in PBA Court wearing rubber shoes.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: October 08, 2020, 12:11:25 PM
What do you think: is there a rule that would help not to drown in information but only focus on what is helpful? Or is it 'the more, the better' in your opinion?

I think there's a common mistake in that the more information that people have, the more they think the outcome of the sports event is predictable.

More information is better, but as well as the need to understand exactly which of this information is relevant, it's also vitally important not to underestimate brute luck.

It depends on how you handle the information, you shouldn't have an information overload problem as that is not healthy. In gambling, it doesn't need to be complicated, the approach is very simple, but you need to be very clever to fully understand and will increase your chances of winning.
Why not just let it happen and play with smile in our faces?the more you seek for winning is the more winning go away ,Just play and if it is yours then no one can take it.

As a gambler, no one can perfectly predict the outcome of the games and make himself rich, winning 60% in sports betting most of the time is even hard to so, yeah, the figure look easy but it's easier said than done in real life.
Maybe those who says it is easy are those who has a cheat or so very Lucky in gambling .
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yeees it's happening on: October 06, 2020, 11:12:46 AM
This may be just the beginning, want this to see in major parts of the globe and also for this it is important that government does support or atleast have some certain rules so that it is easier for the merchants when rules are clear so it becomes easier to start accepting it. Some countries are still unclear about bitcoin and thus not much adoption could be seen.
and we can contribute by taking a picture also if we have seen something like this in our places and posting here in forum.
this will encourage more investors to put more money because of the advertising and popularization that happening worldwide.

Maybe this is not the first time Bitcoin ATMs are available in stores, even Bitcoin ATMs are available in some other countries too, but not all countries provide Bitcoin ATMs because some countries do not allow Bitcoin to enter and use Bitcoin. If you want to try it and don't know how to use it, you can see it on YouTube, surely someone has made a video how to use a Bitcoin ATM.
yups but this is the first time in OP's place that's why he is amazed seeing one installed ,and even us if we finda  new location for ATM surely we will be proud.
866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 06, 2020, 11:09:54 AM
No I'm not because i only played with minimal capital and consider gambling just for fun,i even play with my close friends only so they won't let me get lose more.

we are a kind of players that has control and we even talk before going to casino if how much will be spent and how long will play.

same thing in our Online playing ,we are in same gambling site and playing together, this prevents us from becoming addicted or become high roller .
867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 04, 2020, 01:31:54 PM
I have read a lot of theories about NBA being rigged and a little portion of me were convince, so I would like to ask you.

If you believe it's rigged, is it a disadvantage or advantage to us bettors?

Share your opinion and if you have some proof, kindly post.
Nope there are some cases in games but that doesn't mean it is the whole NBA who is being rigged.in all organization there are leakages and bad member but this is not the whole congregation .
NBA is still fair and truth in each games specially now that the championship is near to end.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if there is a 10-year 1000x token, are u going to buy? (This is Ad) on: October 04, 2020, 12:52:56 PM

869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: October 04, 2020, 12:32:36 PM

According to the Quarter Report Ripple company increased sales of XRP token to institutional investors from $1.75 mln to $32.55 mln.

Last month XRP looks alive as price increased by 60%. And firstly reached the mark of $0.30 since since February. However we have the Sentiment company data showing the decreasing of the average daily trading volume, more than $100 mln.

personally for me?i don't think that Ripple is best for long term holding because the price keeps on going up and falling low so i believe that this ain't better for Holding instead this is good for daytrading or short term trading.
Buy ripple for other using but not for long handling.
870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 04, 2020, 12:25:59 PM

The demand is simple, I don't think it's a big hindrance to make this fight happen if Conor McGregor agrees with it. He was the one challenging Manny, so he needs to give the demand, besides Manny can pick a boxer and still make money.

Here's the demand per written in the article shared.

Quote
“I have formed my own company, Pac Sports and Entertainment, and am more than willing to give the fans what they want: An exciting fight with Conor McGregor under terms and conditions where I am the co-promoter with my company.

it's better that Pacquiao co-promote the fight he has the marketing arms and a big company to make this fight big and create a big hype and of course the money parts is a big reason why Pacquiao wants to co-promote the match because Pacquiao is a businessman and he knows where the money is.
not only because he is Businessman and know where the money is but instead it is He wanted to Donate more money to the victim of covid 19.
this is the main goal why He is fighting for this and wanted to gain much money.

and besides he has the ability and the skills in doing this as he is an actor,a sportsman,a politician and a good person so promoting this fight is indeed better for Him.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Mark Magsayo vs Rigoberto Hermosillo on Oct 3 on: October 04, 2020, 12:16:51 PM
Congratulations to our kababayan Magsayo for winning over His tough opponents, looking at the punches thrown it looks like there is a 1/3 more has given by Hermosillo and the fight is really very close.

But what bothers me is the decision of the 1st judge mentioned in which for me is not relevant in what is the real fight goes.
that is over reacting for me.
872  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 04, 2020, 12:07:51 PM
I'm going to forget I sold at $5 after recovery from $2  Cry

This might be biggest mistake of your life. I understand at that vey money you would have been very happy that you have not only recovered the loss but also sold the bitcoins at a profit of 3$. But now you will regret that if only you could have saved the bitcoin until 2017, you would have sold it for 19000$+.
Who really knows what would be the future of bitcoin?6-7 years after before it really bloomed and make a $20,000 value.

All of us had sold Bitcoin at very low and when the value hit that highest?

we all felt bitterness and regret the very moment we sold our precious bitcoin but this needs to happen.
because now we value the coin as what we have to do years before.
873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government figures or politicians supporting Bitcoin? on: October 02, 2020, 09:23:03 AM
I guess if politicians are open to this kind of business maybe they will be into this, why? because if they keep their money into crypto who will know that they have this kind of investment, an amount keep from the eye of tax payers, first of all there is no way to trace your transactions point to your name due to its special features. So maybe there are lots of officials who are into this who works silently, who knows they might be one of the big whales around. Shocked Shocked
I think some politicians are open to bitcoin, and they invest some money in bitcoin too. But they don't tell their friends because they don't want to get trouble. Or they use bitcoin as the investment from the other sources' income, so they don't pay the more taxes. We don't know the truth, and we can only guess if the politicians buy bitcoin or they don't care about bitcoin.
of course they are, politicians are updated to which can be the fastest to gain money and they know about bitcoin.
some of them may have invested long ago to use for their political dreams,or some are investing in altcoins or ICO to easy money.
they might not be broadcasted but for sure there are plenty of them that involved in crypto specially bitcoin.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will touch 10,000$ to 12,000$ at the end of 2020. on: September 29, 2020, 12:11:16 PM
Funny guy with his dreams )
Eth gas was 30-50$ on uniswap during August. With 10-12k usd it can cost 50 usd TX fees. Without Ethereum 2.0 there is no chance for grow with such crazy fees. But ETH 2.0 can takes forever.
The release of 2.0 version of ethereum has been adjusted again and hoping to see it happen before the end of this year.

gas is really irritating these days and looking for this to at least lowered or back to normal as the Defi coins now are subsiding .
875  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: September 29, 2020, 12:01:43 PM
Maybe if there are so many good project to join in cryptocurrency I could say that New normal is really creating opportunities in cryoto. But Cryptocurrency is really helpful this time of pandemic because it become an alternative source of income of those people who already know how to use it and how to earn from it. There are many online trading platform and I think it is the one creating opportunity because it will attract  people to try  this in order to earn.
There is no need for many projects to come and invest here because most of them are scammers so they will only add problem in this market.
Opportunity in crypto is there because people now are looking for alternative way of payments.
and if they found crypto maybe they will consider investing inside our proud market here.
876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 29, 2020, 11:41:19 AM
Looks Like Conor again wanted to try His skills over Boxers?because after Floyd Mayweather now he will try the second most popular Boxer of our time Manny Pacquiao.

I want to see how he will try His best to at least win over a boxer since He is  Mix Martial Arts fighter and has already Lose once in this Ring.
877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: September 29, 2020, 11:27:49 AM
I’m just genuinely curious to see the sentiment amongst bitcointalk posters. Please no trolling which includes being overly bearish or bullish. Just vote for what you genuinely think, no agendas.

Personally, I’m thinking option 4 ($12,001 - $14,000).

It’ll be interesting to see the results.
Just like yours it is $12-14k is my vote.

i am practical and won't be bullish this time because i was expecting a growth in 2021 at least middle of the year.

that amount is enough for this year to end the value of Bitcoin.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if you invested a $1 in Bitcoin every day for 5 years on: September 27, 2020, 01:51:53 AM
Just a Fact that investing in 1$ in bitcoin every day over the last five years could actually give you a profit of $20,405, just investing or spending over $1,858 in bitcoin...
Of course, this doesn't involve transaction fee but still, it was just 1$ investment every day or just like buying a coffee every day you could already accumulated more than $20k of bitcoin.
It is interesting to note that this could be a decent strategy for those that want to buy at every price without going through the risk of buying too much at a too high price. Considering that Bitcoin may one day (hopefully) be worth more than a $100K, this could still be a viable strategy.
Let me know what you think of this in the comments below.
There is already existing thread similar to this, investing 1 dollar a day in crypto,i just can't find it now.

But mine?i may take a 30$ a month investing similar to this 1 dollar because my payroll money comes monthly.

This will be  big amount after several years.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest to this project ? on: September 26, 2020, 12:43:50 PM
There is an important rule in the crypto market that you have to make your own decisions about your investments. The money is yours, so don't invest on the advice of others.
It's okay to get some advice to others as along as you have also basis in what your investing with. The only problem is that if you trust them quickly without any proof of your own research. Another thing is that, don't put too much money in single project. In the new project like this, there no guarantee that you have profit to this.
Just Use the advises as pattern on which we want to find out but never engage on it easily.we are the one who is responsible in our losses so following them instantly is a No No,make your own findings about each coins.
if you think that it is worth it?then but but if not ?then pass.
880  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people claim cryptocurrencies aren’t an asset? on: September 26, 2020, 12:34:49 PM
people don't think of crypto as an asset because of its volatile price.  most people think that if the asset is stored the price will go up not down like gold and others.
we have our own perception to what asset is all about, thats why some people don't think of this as an asset because of being virtual and non physical.

crypto is currency but even Fiat if you store in your vault it can be consider as asset,so Crypto as staying in our wallet means this is an asset right?
