41  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: 0.7BTC For sale! URGENT!!! on: June 30, 2015, 03:50:25 PM

.....But I am suggesting you might....

Quit your blabbering, the fact that you dont even know me or the reason why the negatives exist on my profile says a lot about your intellect. So better educate yourself about what happens in the forum before you go out suggesting people anything.

I can leave a negative red on your profile RIGHT NOW without any proof or evidence of you scamming. Does that make you a scammer ?

I have dealt for more than 2Lakhs worth in BTC on this forum and I have shared my rep details with the seller. So like I suggested, keep your concerns limited to your own business.

There is nothing wrong in asking a new user to use an escrow IMO.

43  Economy / Services / Re: How much will you pay for a social networking website? on: June 30, 2015, 02:10:19 AM
Price canīt be defined with only that information, somebody can say 1 BTC or less, if you want some reward bigger, you need do something different remember that new sites are being created each day with new features. For example everybody can create a free forum and call it "Forum to
bitcoiners",etc....., Besides of innovation you need a good traffic on the net an it can take time.

That's true. Of course, this isn't just another forum for Bitcoiners. Smiley But I can't disclose more info right now. And I don't think I can sell it for just 1 BTC. But thanks anyway.

I'll probably get back once the site is done and up then. Smiley
44  Other / New forum software / What technologies are being used to develop the new forum software? on: June 29, 2015, 03:12:53 PM
In the pinned post, theymos has mentioned that the new software is built using node.js. However, I am curious what the other technologies used to build the software; like the database, etc.

Anyone has a say about this? Smiley
45  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed 31.2k in BTC recently on: June 29, 2015, 08:15:23 AM
Isn't there a way to close this thread until the OP gives us proof of the transaction? Until he does, I call this BS.
46  Economy / Services / Re: How much will you pay for a social networking website? on: June 28, 2015, 06:06:04 PM
Cool attempt , but it would get limited to bitcoiners and thus might get low traffic which is obviously not beneficial for website owners .

Yes, this site is only for bitcoiners. The reason is because, only serious bitcoiners will register in this site that makes the site less junkier without having unnecessary posts and feeds.

Another advantage is that, a lot of features only related to bitcoin users can be added.

So summarizing, the site is focused on bitcoiners. It isn't a replacement for a forum. But another tool of sophistication for bitcoiners.
47  Economy / Services / How much will you pay for a social networking website? on: June 28, 2015, 05:16:29 PM
I'm currently in the process of building a networking website for bitcoin users (not exactly social networking as mentioned in the title).

1. Python web application.
2. Graph database (suitable for a networking application and highly scalable).
3. Using Version Control (Git)
4. API first architecture. So easily extendable to mobile application.
5. Selling along with the domain name bitcoin[xxxx].org. (Domain name related to bitcoin. Matches with the theme of the web app)
6. AJAXified wherever possible.

Features of the website cannot be disclosed now. But, it has basic features like messaging, feed, post, etc.  Smiley

For how much Bitcoins can I sell the web app for?
48  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Stack Exchange users needed (offering up to 0.01BTC) per vote on: June 26, 2015, 07:04:52 AM
Wow. Received my first BTC payment (Actually milli-bitcoins to be exact). The OP send me 0.01 BTC and the payment was damn quick.

Thanks ofirbeigel! Smiley

You should also probably try posting in https://reddit.com/r/jobs4bitcoins if you haven't posted there already.

Sent you guys PM.

Didn't get a PM yet. Maybe post it in the thread so everyone can see it?

Yeah sorry. Missed you out.

This is my GitHub account : https://github.com/kevinisaac. You can find a few web applications and related projects there.

This is my partner's repo of a mediocre android app he developed : https://github.com/Pressy/GoKart.

We are in the process of developing ourselves a portfolio and showcase the projects and other stuff we've done. Once done, we'll post screenshots and live demo's of the apps we've done.

Thanks.

52  Economy / Auctions / Re: How much can I sell a domain name related to Bitcoin for? (in BTC) on: June 23, 2015, 05:46:44 PM
I recently bought a new domain - BitcoinCircles.org. However, this domain hasn't been used before. How many Bitcoins do you think I can sell this domain for, if anyone is interested to buy it ((at all. I mean, I know its difficult to sell this new domain name  Smiley )? I'm not seriously considering selling the domain right away. I'm just curious.

If you have a similar domain, how much will you sell it for?

With the above, I may or may not be implying that this thread is in the wrong section.  Wink

Well, I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to go through my profile. Smiley

http://www.siteprice.org/

Use this site. The more visits and results in search browsers it gets the more the price.
If it has 0 traffic.. you'll have to set an arbitrary price and expect someone wants it.

Looks like I can sell my domain for 0.5 BTC, according to http://www.siteprice.org 's calculations. Cheesy

58  Economy / Services / Re: I will take down your website on: June 22, 2015, 02:30:32 AM
Hello,

I am offering a free website stress testing service.

I will send a layer 7 ddos attack to your website to test it's security.

If it goes down, I can set you up with free layer 7 ddos protection.

There's nothing to lose, so you might as well see if your website can handle an attack.

Stop living unprotected!

PM me and reply here if interested

Haha.. The title "I will take down your website" must have scared the shit out of people. Smiley

60  Local / India / Buy bitcoin hoodies in India (for INR) on: June 21, 2015, 10:26:55 AM
Is there any site where I can buy Bitcoins, from India? I discovered a few sites, but they seem costly when converted from US Dollars to Rupees (like $35 which is kinda costly).
