506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HitBTC is a scam on: April 03, 2018, 12:32:09 PM
Look at you. You are new here and figured out in such short time that it is scam site! How could you mate? I dont think that HitBTC is scam at all and I am using it since long time. I have been actually user of it since 6 months now and I had no problems using the same. I am regularly making trades on it and keeping my coins safely over there. Whenever there are forks happening I am literally putting large amount of BTC over this exchanger who in turn gives me free forked coins. I have  also enjoyed the withdrawals in the stress period when the fees were too high and then also I had no issue in the same. If you are not making the withdrawal process properly then no one can help.

HitBTC takes everything very seriously and each time you process withdrawal they send you mail where you have to click one link to authorise that transaction. If you dont do it then it will never get processed. People have failed at this and ended up in the misleading information. So make sure you understand the site completely and then talk about it.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: I agree that Bitcoin is better than gold on: April 03, 2018, 11:32:19 AM
Vitalik Buterin (V-God), the founder of Ethereum, said on Twitter that “Why is Bitcoin better than gold?” — I actually agree with this, Bitcoin is better than gold, both personally and socially. I used to talk about Bitcoin's damage to the environment. But gold is even worse.

Not sure if he really said that one or not but it doesn't look like gold is bigger damage to the environment itself. Never thought of this comparison before but its worth thinking about it. I mean truly we keep saying that bitcoin using the huge electricity in terms of the mining operations which are needed for the existence of the same. Later on we also started to think that bitcoin is responsible for the global warming due to its mining operation and the heat that it produces!! I mean thats the worst case we have thought about the bitcoin. But truly if you just see the documentaries about the Gold mines and rigs then we will understand that is even huge cost involved and polluted operation ever.  Undecided

So I am pretty sure we need to re-think about the bitcoin and gold and which one is better for the environment.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: April 03, 2018, 10:50:14 AM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

For now i just used it as financial tool of making extra source of income. In this forum we can find money by joining signature campaigns and bounties, although its never been that easy but it can be learn through time,we just need to be resourceful enough to do some research on how crytptocurrency works.Votality is the nature of bitcoins concepts but people still using it,some hold their bitcoins  for further fluctuations, these can be very useful if price will skyrocket, the frequent fluctuations would be the greater the possibility that it would continue to stand still as the strongest digital currency of all.

Yes you telling the benefits of volatility to the bitcoin use. But the OP's case is different. He still need answer as to whether people will still use the bitcoin when it is stable. My point of view on this is simple, if some day bitcoin do get stabilised in its prices (impossible one) then I will be able to use it the way I use fiat today. You know what there will be one more positive thing that will happen in the process, - Government accepting the bitcoin in real life application. Yes, off course the stability will bring bitcoin to usefulness of ordinary people and at their services. Its controlling will be far easier than anything and we could just have it the normal way. The prices for this type of BTC will increase due to its demand and that would be systematic growth for it.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What affects the price of btc most? on: April 03, 2018, 10:07:23 AM
There are a lot of factors influencing the price of bitcoin, including technical issues/new alts coming out/regulations/stubborn miners/conflicts between developers(or groups)...etc.

What do you think is the most crucial cause? Why did the price drop dramatically these days? Will this be a rebound point?

The answer is "We". We are the one responsible for the different aspects of bitcoin which also includes the changes in bitcoin prices. Many times it happens that we push bitcoin too hard and off limits and then the alternation in the prices happens. For example, consider the cases when bitcoin naturally dropping in its value then people get panic about it and they get so nervous that they cant even hold their breath for a minute and think about the whole situation and immediately start selling everything they have got. This makes the market situation even worst and thus bitcoin loses itself. In same manner prices increases too. I mean when they are done selling everything they have got then they will start thinking that Oh! Its good time to buy the coins and thus in the long they put more money and become responsible for the price rise.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (03/04)Did ETH really recover? on: April 03, 2018, 06:07:36 AM
It could be bullish break and its getting replicated in almost all the currencies including the bitcoin. Now we have to agree on one thing that ETH is more or less BTC dependent somehow, the reason could internal management who is trying to make the movement of ETH in similar manner to BTC.

There is no reason to take USD into consideration because it has not impact either on the down trend and bearish market. The main focus shovel always be time of the year and also the BTC market fluctuation itself.

Also, the market is not trying resist really but it is kind of following the different orders of patterns depending upon the buy and sell walls in the market.
511  Other / Archival / Re: Don't let the negativity get you down. on: April 02, 2018, 02:57:08 PM
Those 10 days, are you sure that really happened in the 10 days each time!  Cheesy

Anyway, lets hope that these 10 days will come back soon and our bitcoin will start the space journey one more time. We saw bitcoin above 15K USD and now the eyes are burning to hell to see those prices again in my life. I am not tired or getting bored of the situation but I am very curious to see what is next door!! I have funds that are waiting to ripe since long and to be honest I did buy one slot of my satoshi's at the rate of 12K USD. So eagerly waiting for bitcoin see the up trend.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40% of BTC daily Volume is Japanese on: April 02, 2018, 10:26:56 AM
I read that 40 percent of BTC daily volume is Japanese and 40 of BTC is owned by whales.

I would say bitcoin is in safe hands then. Because Japan was the first country to make the bitcoin legal one and this is the reason why they are having most of the bitcoin in their possession. God knows, today also whatever volume we are seeing after being dropping to such low level is all because of the Japanese buying it. As they have no problem in acquiring them and people might be enjoying the freedom that was given to them by Japanese government.

Its not worrying thing because it is in regulated hands. We must not cry upon this situation as we are not seeing this much amount in the hands of china! Lolz.
513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to protect their BTC from robbery? on: April 02, 2018, 09:54:34 AM
Increasingly, I hear that the Betz and other coins are stealing with brute force. My acquaintance had an accident, intruders penetrated into his house. With the help of brute force and weapons, they forced to transfer their Bitcoin to their wallets. How to protect from this?
I deduced the rule for myself, I never tell anyone that I am a crypto investor.
I deleted all applications related to crypto currency from my phone.
Can anyone be able to advise how to protect their coins?
I think every year, it will be more and more relevant.

Brut force? Really is that the way to hack into our system and catch the bitcoin?

I dont think Brut force can really crack the wallets and do the job for you. You know very well our wallets are protected with the unique private keys which can take more than 35 years for the smartest computer to hack into it. And you telling me that Brut force can open up the wallets like that. Lolz. I dont belive it, we are very secure and that was one of the principle behind the use of bitcoin.

Also you can just secure your devices with in build password protection, add software with pattern locks for extra security, add 2FA authentication to your wallet itself and store your private key in different location. You will be fine with it.
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which altcoin other than ethereum is best to invest and trade? on: April 02, 2018, 08:16:14 AM
Currently bitcoin and ethereum rule over all cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin.
If you had some money to invest in another alternative which crypto currency would it be and why do you choose that altcoin.
its fine if you suggest multiple as i dont plan to invest all my extra savings into a single altcoin.

You yourself putting me into scenario where you want me to choose from king, queens and the small workers.  Tongue

Well, I am just kidding but really my first preference always go to BTC and ETH.

My another holdings are : XRP (5%), NEO (20%), SCL (30%) and rest I have distributed in the JNT tokens which are dropping dramatically currently so I have sold some of them right now and might just have 2-3% of my holdings.

For the next buy I am thinking of bringing some Verge and Torn as they are in the buzz right now. I know they are shit coins but I will surely get them as they are cheapest currently and their ATH is achievable easily (around 0.30 cents). Thats all mate.
515  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap Foolin' Around on: April 01, 2018, 08:54:42 PM
Yup the LAMBO joke was hilarious and prefect one on the day of April. I literally thought that there is coin with the name LAMBO and started searching it with the search box. Soon I found out that there is no such coin or ICO which has published recently and it was nothing but joke by the coinmarketcap. Yes, CMC caught us right and we were so busy in thinking about the prices and all stuff that we just thought its a coin itself. Haha. Great one CMC, you really got us into the April fools list. Also it was really nice to see how perfectly they managed to do it and the prices were also real. So great work by them.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC uptrend & downtrend (Current Situation) on: April 01, 2018, 08:02:15 PM
They dont think that bitcoin is dead but they are made to think like that way so that it can create FUD amongst them and thus they will sell it for the dust value. They here refers to the whales and big people who want to buy the coins at cheap rate from the weeks. However this is really not what I am interested in discussing.

I got somethign to talk on and thats this one:

Quote
k-->3k (it took 3-4 months)
3k-1.8k (dip, 40% loss)
3k-->5k (it took one month)
5k-->3k (dip 50% loss lasted for less than a month)
5k-->20k (2 months)
20k-->HuhHuhHuh

Its your rough analysis but I do see a pattern here on how bitcoin recovers with increasing intervals. I think initially the prices were not much and thus BCT was able to recover it faster. Then the time gradually increased as the value increased too. So it means that with the current value and ATH window I am sure it will take more than three months considering the previous spikes.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 01, 2018, 07:18:04 PM
Shouldn't invest in a single place because investment is always risky. So,we should invest in few terms.Btc market rates aren't good either. It's not possible to wait for everyone until it's good in Btc.So without Btc,you can invest somewhere else like, real state, others coin, gold etc.
any investment can be risky and it does not matter how many inserts you have made, because it is the main task for the investor to study the project in which he wants to invest his money.
Aside from bitcoin, I invested also in Bounties project and also in altcoins like ethereum and litecoin.
There are many alternative ways to invest aside from Bitcoin, also you invest in gambling site those trusted gambling sites.
The risk taker is good if you are an investor but it needs you a deep analyzed which better to invest to avoid a scam or possible loss of your money.

I think bounties is not any kind of investment but it is goo way of investing your time and efforts on it. That we can call it as good investment and alternate too.

Gambling would be very risky to invest in the first place and I would never suggest this one as alternative way of investing your money. That would be hilarious as it is not safe for work and its more than alternate way of loosing your money, that too quickly.  Wink

For me crypto currencies are tricky and no matter what you choose everything has got the risk of investment. In all the safest one is to hold altcoins but that too with at most care that you can have.
518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: does mining cost affect btc price? on: April 01, 2018, 06:35:50 PM
Miners selling coins to cover costs could affect the price of Bitcoin.
Mining costs could influence the transaction fees more than the price of Bitcoin imho.

Thats true but it is partly true about the selling affecting the prices of the bitcoin. I mean just imagine the number of miners who are immediate seller of the coins might be very less. If the big cartels do that then yeah off course its huge amount they might be dumping and thus making the major change on the market scale too.

Quote

Is this correct or is it exactly opposite to this one? I mean isn't it is when the prices of bitcoin increases a lot then the people start transacting heavily and thus increasing the load on miners. This in turn makes the miners to increase the fees heavily and the end result. I mean I am confused is it the way you say it or me?
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is going to replace bitcoin? on: April 01, 2018, 05:44:34 PM
I believe crypto is not going away but it looks like in the near future bitcoin is going to be a afterthought.   What coins do you think have a chance at replacing it and being adopted for use?

Many people ask this question and I have read about it many times. Sometimes I feel that people are not reading the forum properly and just go on creating the topics. You should really click the buttons at the bottom which says pages 1, 2, 3, 4... etc.

I know for new people it might be very tiring to the clicking but you should try it. Its really fun brother.

About your question, I am not sure whats going to replace the bitcoin but one thing is sure, bitcoin will be bitcoin forever and brands never get replaced but they might get copied.  Cheesy
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is not designed to be predictable. Or is it? on: April 01, 2018, 05:13:08 PM
I've called this 2 years ago on my facebook. There were no signs of any regulations back then. Smart money (banks, wall st) came into the scene and rek everyone. Hell, we could even be in a recession after this. So what are your options? Just simply hold. Get a job and forget about your assets. You shouldn't have risked more then you were willing to lose anyway. Money is a very sensitive topic for most, but if you can control your emotions, and simply hold without paying attention to your investments, you should be fine. We all know the markets are rigged and ran by bot algos. Just hold your positions fellas, you don't lose anything until you sell.

It is predictable with right data in hand and experts thinking about the whole stuff in smart way. Its not like that they make false assumption about the market but its about the uncertainty that comes in when their predictions turn out to be the worst one. That doesn't mean that the market is unpredictable at all. The markets values in specific range still can be predicted with in depth analysis of the graph and demand-supply equation. We have many data points such as mining operations, blocks, circulating supply, difficulty to mine and much more along with the time as dimension for diluting everything. That can make up the prediction fairly well but not the precise one.
