1001  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to buy or sell bitcoin for it's worth instead of paying $100,- more. on: August 14, 2017, 02:01:27 PM
You can visit localbitcoin and ask for your price. There is option to put your call or otherwise you can also bid with the person with whom you are making the deal. You can chat with that person and negotiate the price of bitcoin. I don’t know other places like this but localbitcoin works for me best.

They show more prices because they are providing you services and they also want to earn the profits from your trade. So everything gets covered in that extra money and people with lots of money wanting safety and security will never hesitate to use services like that. Hope it helps.

1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NY Government Employee Fined for Mining Bitcoin at Work on: August 14, 2017, 01:19:10 PM
Oh yeah of course they must be punished for it as its illegal anyway. The employer is paying for your nonsense and how they could tolerate that? There is nothing like free money and there is always hard work behind everything.

Oh that great “During that time, I monitored the progress of my bitcoin mining software from my home computer using remote access software.”

That is completely against the policy of your employer. We sign the documents and agree to the employer terms that we won’t use or back watch the companies property. I think NY DOE has not got anything wrong in it.

1003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price bubbled? on: August 14, 2017, 01:15:38 PM
Thinking about the bitcoin in long timeline won’t be predictable in perfect sense. You are thinking about the bitcoin dump after few year, but the thing it really depends on the many factors and situations from which bitcoin is going or suffering. I have researched many times and found bitcoin is volatile currency which depends on external sources like volume of trade, circulating supply of bitcoin and demand in the market.

We dont know how much it is important after few years, if the bitcoin is increased in size in terms of popularity then there is possibility that bitcoin may not be dumped. It may happen that bitcoin gets accepted worldwide as primary or at least secondary currency then it won’t be dumped so easily. So its not predictable about that bitcoin may be dumped.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - Did the blockchain just stop??!! on: August 14, 2017, 12:55:23 PM
Very ridiculous thought and it will take almost 1K year to mine the last block and even more I guess. Why you don’t understand the difficulty and mining industry relations? Its not that easy to stop the blockchain. There are numerous blocks to be mined and for now its confirmed that its not yet finished.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Unstoppable on: August 14, 2017, 12:34:37 PM
Yeah the external factors are always there to impact the bitcoin. I have also observed these changes about the bitcoin whenever big events has happened. The most important and everyone experienced was segwit2x hard fork. Before one of hard fork everyone dumped the bitcoin like crazy and the price dropped almost to 1800 USD. Now see, after the segwit was locked in on 8th aug the price of bitcoin started increasing like crazy. Its at 4000 USD. So the journey of 1800 USD to 4000 USD was like within one and thats more than miracle. Thats why bitcoin is unstoppable.

1007  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitfinex is dropping their US customers on: August 12, 2017, 06:58:04 PM

Why to even care for this as we have more than enough options to trade and invest money in. They have mentioned that they will be serving corporate customers as they have normalised the regulations for those customers of course this is in greed that corporate customers will invest big amounts of money than normal investors like us. Anyway, I would drop it too as I have more options to think on and can keep doing what I was doing with bitfinex. Not a big deal though.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How will bitcoin trade in a recession? on: August 11, 2017, 04:39:44 AM
You really think that bitcoin will be used like the way you have stated?

It's not that easy in the recession period to simply cashout your bitcoin into local currency and start paying with it. Know the basic thing, bitcoin is virtual currency the money is actually capped with bitcoin in the form of virtual reality. It means no bank in the world will allow you to cashout your bitcoin because banks will have to generate new paper money as you are requesting more supply of it. Bitcoin will never help in the recession and according to my theory it will just make it worse and we may not buy or sell the bitcoin and the value might stay the same.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin from crashing? on: August 11, 2017, 02:26:53 AM
It's all about how and where the bitcoin is being transacted. If fed arrests such alphabay and dark web continues to cease the bitcoin then it might affect the bitcoin "bear" and "bull". It's very much related because huge amount of transactions are stopped the next second and market shakes. People should be aware of such sites and companies so that they can make proper investments really.

If the bitcoin is traded mass investors in legit way then there are chances that bitcoin market gets bull status and it keeps moving upward.

1010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining / Roi / Difficulty on: August 10, 2017, 06:15:03 AM
The calculator is all you can trust really. The difficulty is going to increase Day by day for sure because daily hundreds of miners jump into the mining industry and try their hard luck. Of course it has got so difficult now a days that the PPLNS share reward has dropped to four times what it was earlier in the start. This now is not possible to get unless and until your hash rate is bigger. To be honest try to mine with caution on any cloud sites. With 13,000 USD you can actually set up your own miners. To be honest that would give you lifetime opportunities to earn bitcoin.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: August 10, 2017, 05:55:54 AM
I think there is not just a single reason for bitcoin price moving up and down. It's not about shutting down of webs or services but it's all about outperformed technology we know as "blockchain". I depends on the behaviour of blockchain and how it's being developed. I agree that volume plays important role too but not completely in the perfect world. Bitcoin made for making secured and faster transactions over the net and its principle must be followed to grow it bigger and which can be done with the help of blockchain development.

1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 10, 2017, 05:14:07 AM
I'm not really regretting it and yeah heard about it back in 2012 or something like that but i did not care about it much.  Initial thought that I made mistake but now I'm thinking it doesn't matter about bitcoin because it is always growing to higher side.

I assume bitcoin is the currency which "dives in deep and recovers like lifeboat". It will never sink and has the potential to grow. This fact is keeping me interested about the bitcoin. I forgot about when bitcoin was worth cents because now I understand that bitcoin will always be equal to cents today and will be equal to dollars tomorrow. There is vast difference! :-)

1017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 08, 2017, 07:05:44 AM
Trading is part of tricky investment in which you have to be very patient about your goals. If you get greedy while trading then you are almost finished with that trade no matter what you do. Your loss is not much and it should not happen but it is really temporary and bitcoin will rise up again. Most if the people do even greater trader strategy than this by holding at least 5-6 coins at the same time and they never get panicked with fall situation because they always have mind set that they can earn big with their trade. So try to learn these strategies and control the emotions. Rest is yours.
1018  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need bitcoin targeted traffic for my faucet on: August 08, 2017, 06:45:38 AM
Look around you, you are all surrounded with bitcoin lovers and the big fan base of bitcoin. You can simply create campaign or ANN (announcement) thread about your services. This will create pure traffic of bitcoiners and you can achieve your goal easily.

Moreover, if it is not feasible for you to show up the services here then you can start advertising over the PTC sites where crowd is mostly coming for earning money and it could be anything  from bitcoin to fiat currency. So you may wanna try out that option. It's cheap too.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Activation Tomorrow 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 08, 2017, 06:25:30 AM
That was not breaking news in the first place as it is already known what was going to happen. Here we are with segwit was known since the august start. I'm happy that everything happened as per our thoughts and votes. The segwit will change the face of bitcoin from super star to wonder star now and the price is gonna head up the 4K value for sure. So it's time to enjoy the upcoming winter with bitcoin. Cheers segwit by the way.
