881  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 02, 2023, 10:57:18 PM
It is much better to prevent getting addicted to gambling, much better than allowing oneself get addicted and then after, start looking for a cure. So, for the hardcore gamblers, it is a good advice for them to from time to time visit sites like this as a way of being precucious of the possiblity of gambling addiction, and also as a prevention.

As it has been popularly said, prevention is better than cure, if you're gambling, then try as much as possible to make sure that you avoid doing it in an uncontrolled emotional manner, gambling must be made to the best satisfaction of how we needed but not to get addicted along, we also must learn to plan ourselves properly, gamble responsibly and also make the very efforts we could afford in having the best experience with gambling than being addicted.
Yes is more easier for a none addicts to avoid addictions and stay addiction-free than an addict trying to pull out of their addictions, this is the most proclaimed and workable tool that gamblers and other substance users must have at the back of their minds.

So for sure, it's better to avoid falling into gambling addiction than try to fight it because most times it is almost impossible to survive gambling addiction since this activity is openly accessible to most.
There's no way on telling if you are already get addicted or not until you would be able to realize that you have losing money too much and this is in fact reality. There are really just that those people who are really that good when it comes to their discipline and control when it comes to their fund handling and there are ones who do really suck at this and this is why they do really end up on such disaster.
You wont really be getting addicted if you are really just that sensible on what you are doing and really having those kind of limits on the time that you do gamble.
You wouldn't really be needing any help or whatsoever but if it happens that you are already that having that kind of problem then self will should be enough
but commonly people do fail at this.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: December 02, 2023, 10:45:06 PM
Everything is possible in sports betting including becoming a millionaire. But it is not an easy task though and it seldom happens to bettors. Before, I joined a group of NBA bettors where people were sharing their picks and insights. I also noticed some of them are doing what OP's story said, risking only small amounts as low as $1 but are capable of winning big amounts just like the lotteries.

I am not a fan of this type of betting though. I am mostly into 1.80 to 2.20 odds. Easier to win while at the same time challenging enough.

Of course it's possible because your bet gets multiplied when you score a streak and each time you get a highetr base win that gets multiplied again, so if you bet $1 and win a typical bet, you get $2, but once you get a 2x streak, it can instantly become $5 from a $1 bet and the next instance of the same streak in a row will get you to $15, so it's just 3 bets, that other wise would get you $3 but here you get $15.
With that in mind, you technically can keep this multiplying into infinity if you get enough good choices in one streak and you can get a million dollars from a $1 bet.
This is why parlays are so popular, while in principle similar to a lottery ticket, in which you only need to make a small bet in order to have the chance to earn a massive amount of money, the main difference is that when it comes to the lottery you are relying completely on your luck, but when it comes to a parlay you are also relying on your knowledge about a particular sport, and this can slightly increase the odds that you hit your parlay and win all of that money.
I dont really see things to be correlating when it comes to this and lottery, literally speaking chances and money that could be won would really be that entirely be different but in the sense that you do able to make some huge hits and make that big money then it is really just on the same sense. The differences is that the chance or odds on hitting up on parlays is much better than with lottery.
Somewhat when it comes on sports betting on which you could really be able to apply some analysis on which means that you couldnt really be apply to lotteries which is really that on pure luck.
The thing about sports betting is that you do even enjoy on what you are doing but literally speaking differences about the money could be able to win then it would really be something
that much lesser but its not something that you could really be able to see on everyday.
883  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 02, 2023, 07:13:36 PM
Did anyone recevie any reply on mail or money refund already?
They claimed that batch of refunds should be pushed within last days but I didn't get any reply on mail nor any transfer.

Probably due to weekends. They typically off work or off computer when weekends to process the refund. Betnomi is not online since his last login here which means he is really off work.

Just give him sometime to announce that the first batch of refund is already successful before you conclude that you are not being entertained since possibly anyone on first batch list experienced the same.

I guess they will refund everyone, sooner or later... it would be really foolish if they don't do it, why would they come back in the first place? I had just a few dollars there, and I will not ask for a refund.

But for days I wonder about one thing... even if they return and refund all the people who had money there, what is their end goal? Just learning their reputation and that's it? Or do they have some plan to reopen Betnomi? I went a few times trough their posts, but I can't figure it out...

Actually, they mentioned in earlier post they plan the reopen the casino, perhaps under a different brand but maintaining the same administration (which is currently trying to refund the money to the victims, which was taken by the rogue part of the staff of the casino). So basically, their objective is to clean their name as much as possible before reopening and continue to earn money with their new brand.

Also, if they were clever they would give priorities to those who had big balances and then move from their to users who had medium sizes balances, and so on. That would dramatically reduce the pressure on them and in an exponential way.
Doesnt matter on where they would be starting on which that pressure would really be just the same since they would really be that paying all in all in speaking about balances whether small or big.
They would really be that obliged on doing so but its actually good that they did make out those considerations on giving out some refund, if this problem actually starts with those shit staffs and trying out to repair the damage that has been done then its a good initiative and trying out to make a new brand name with the same management, well its a nice move because whether we do like it or not
on which if a certain casino/platform did have some issues back in the past and turned out that they came back then we cant deny that people would really be that hesitant on trusting them back.
884  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: December 02, 2023, 01:04:29 PM

SOURCE--

in the video, it is not explained which region (city) it comes from but it is clear that the parade is from my country, in the parade it is clear what slot players get when they play from the "first" month (still motorbikes are expensive) to month "fourth" (ugly motorcycle).

without direct education by the central and local governments to young people and the general public, I think this kind of parade is not effective enough, it's even obvious, the parade is the initiative of the private community in the area.

do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?

In terms of lowering gambling addiction, the parade kind of missed the point. It felt less like an important reminder and more like a fun game ad. They could try a more direct message to help people decide what to do.
Looks like a game ad? Not actually if you do really try to understand but if you are that someone whose really that having that common sense then you could really be able to determine
on whats the message that it do really brings. So it is a matter of understanding and realizing on what it do message out. It is a good initiative into those people who did organized
such parade on which making some showing on how gambling could really affect someones life and this is something that should really be needed up to realize by someone.
It is really that quiet unusual on having these kind of parades because usually it is really that something always be showcasing those slot companies but this one turns out to be different though
but i do agree that theres still part of it which is on marketing side.
885  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 01, 2023, 11:59:26 PM
What casinos allow US players to play on and ask for KYC for register and for withdraw?

What about US players but they are abroad?

If they are abroad and not asked to perform KYC on beforehand, then they will be able to play. But it can be tricky because if they win big they will have to give their data and, if they weren't allowed to play, they'd lose all the winnings (and the deposit too).

If they are in their homeland, then we all know that VPNs can work sometimes, but it's the same in the end: read the T&Cs and, even if they don't mention VPNs, take into account that their policy could change at anytime, and also what I mentioned in the previous paragraph about the KYC.

I don't know if there's a person gets a problem with this kind of scenario but I think its fine since they are currently not on restricted country and playing on allowed premises. So I guess they just need to provide proof that can easily check out that they are not on US and in a country where they are allowed to play. For that maybe if there's proof to be shown a casino would provably allow the user to withdraw all the winnings if there's a withdrawal request also to continue to play at them if I'm not wrong with this. But to make it more clearer I guess its better to ask the casino representative regarding on this case since maybe they could allow those people who currently not on restricted regions to play on their casino.
When a certain player would really be hitting up some huge nasty wins then for sure a casino would really be making those kind of checks from IP address, until to multiaccount or whatever possible
violations that they could throw on, on the time that they've seen nothing then they would releasing those funds but if those platforms are those shady or scam ones then pretty sure they would really be having a long line of possible reasons just for them to deny on paying up those winnings. Doesnt matter if this one is correlating with some KYC checks or not. You would really be
able to avoid of possible headaches if you are really just that joining or playing on sites which are having that reputation and popularity.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Bets to Know How Good Enough You Are? on: December 01, 2023, 11:50:58 PM
~snip~
This really depends on us to be able to control ourselves in gambling, if we can control our emotions in gambling of course we will be able to stop when we have lost several times, but it is very difficult for us to stop gambling if we cannot control our emotions, after getting many losses while we still have funds to gamble, we will not stop because we will continue to chase wins that we will not get until all the funds we have are used up.
However, most gamblers lose control when they are in the casino and play gambling games several times. They start to feel happy playing it, especially since they have managed to win some, even though it's only a small amount. Many gamblers are trapped in situations like that, so they miss the opportunity to stop when they could win. They want to win even more, so they forget to limit their gambling games, especially when they see they still have money in their gambling account balance.
On the time that you are on adrenaline rush then those initial plans and limits would really be totally forgotten and this is some very casual thing to happen. Speaking about how many bets on trying to make yourself to find out whether you are profitable or not then only a few could really be able to follow up such situation on which majority will really be that forgetting those things in the end.
For me then i dont care about on how many games i would be playing as much i do able to enjoy on what im doing then this is something that i do really prefer.
There's no way that you could be able to see in 10 games but for 100 games then this is where you would be able to determine.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: December 01, 2023, 11:30:25 PM
Gambling is really a game of wonders, a gambler gambles even if he loses, and a gambler gambles even if he wins money. No one really wants to quit gambling whether it is a negative outcome or a positive outcome. If a gambler wins in the first stage of gambling then he cannot be held back even after a thousand attempts to stop gambling. After he wins, he will think again and again why he bet with less money when he should have gambled with more money. There is good reason to think that, at the time, he felt that if he had gambled more money, he would have won more money. Such thinking of a gambler makes him more addicted to gambling.

It's a miracle if we win there, and if we win or lose, this is normal for gamblers to experience and they must be ready to accept both. For people who are addicted to gambling, it will be difficult to stop even if they win or lose, no matter what they want at that time, maybe because they are too engrossed in the gambling game they are playing so they don't have a time limit for gambling bets. And it could be that the addict cannot use his mind well, all that is on his mind is playing and continuing to play, placing unlimited bets and thinking that he will be able to win the game even though he may not necessarily be able to win, but on the contrary, they will lose and lose money that will he is natural.
What is still difficult for gamblers to accept is when they lose because most gamblers still want to try to recover their losses by continuing to gamble, even though that is not a good idea. After all, they could experience even bigger losses. Getting a win from gambling is indeed a difficult thing, so if we have won, we should appreciate that win by stopping gambling, whatever the results we get. This is to prevent us from losing money if we continue gambling while we don't know whether we can win again in the next round or will only experience loss. Most gamblers who continue gambling have experienced even more losses than before. We must avoid this so that we do not experience increased emotions, which can give rise to a desire to recover from the loss.

Even if the gambler knows that it is not a good idea to continue even though they know that they have already won something in gambling and still continue, that is because it is probably programmed in their mind that they will stop when their needs are satisfied by playing of gambling at a casino they play.

As long as they don't achieve their target, they don't care if they become reckless when they play in a casino as gamblers. It's their choice; maybe we shouldn't imitate them; maybe it's that simple, right?
Satisfaction could be acquire through?

1. Reached out a certain win amount
2. Get the leisure and entertainment they do seek

People/Gambler would really be just on two different types whether profit seeking or entertainment seeking. This is why these are the common factors
on which it would really be pushing them to play further just because if they wont really be able to hit up those numbers or condition
then they wont be stopping but eventually most gamblers would really be just completely be stopping on the time  that they had blown out their bankroll.
Win round will really be wiping out all of the money that you do have bust out earlier and continue as long you do bave the balance to do so.
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 01, 2023, 10:57:23 PM
I'd like to clarify that this topic is distinguished from businesses or entrepreneurs involved in gambling as businesses, such as casino companies, etc., but with a focus on gamblers. I know there are many people who regard themselves as professionals at playing gambling games, but do you ever think that one can make gambling a full-time job and career because of his or her deep knowledge of the games? Can someone bet with little or no loss because it is one of the most unpredictable games to play?

Gambling to my understanding, is a trial-and-error game with uncertain outcomes, unpredictability, and luck. Therefore, professional gamblers must exhibit a deeper than usual understanding of the games, the statistical probabilities, and a high level of risk management skills.

However, it is critical to realize the risks involved, which include unstable financial circumstances and potential addiction problems. So, pursuing a gambling career should be approached with serious caution, and gamblers ought to be well-informed about the accompanying problems. Furthermore, I believe that having various sources of income and taking calculated risks will be highly beneficial.

But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
It might hard to believe but there are people or gamblers who do make a living with gambling but only into those who are skilled ones and really that involved with those gambling games which
involves card game and sports betting yet these are the only games on which making it as a living would be possible yet there are gamblers who do really have that a good winning rate
on this one. Sounds impossible? Yes it does but there are people who do exist. It is really just the number arent really that great. This is one of the things or main reasons on why
some gamblers are really trying out their best to achieve such condition but ended up on focusing too much on luck based ones and this is why they do end up on a disaster.
889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: December 01, 2023, 10:39:53 PM
If you walk into a casino with $200 and you start playing with that $200 and you win $200, get the hell out, you simply just doubled your money, take your goddamn leave, what do you think you wanna do? Win a million dollars? You will go home empty handed.

If you become able to double your money as a result of a single bet then I think you are a lucky person now if you want to continue gambling just because of wishing to win more like this then its a greed which will destroy your 400$ and your hands will be empty with zero dollar.

In gambling a person must face a huge loss that cause him to regret always for not taking the previous profit. At last a person wish to get huge profit at once so he will stop gambling but unfortunately it become very difficult. I don't think that why people are more interested in gambling even they can see other individuals with their own eyes that how they make their life difficult.

If you win once a day in gambling and it's a good amount, that's fine because you're really lucky to be called. But if you keep going because you think you'll be able to bring home a large amount of money, I think you're becoming greedy without realizing it.

When you think like that, that means that what you won will surely be lost little by little until eventually you will notice that you have lost a large amount because of a decision that, instead of stopping, you continued to play to gamble.
When you do really make some winnings then you would eventually be forgetting all the losses that you do have earlier and this is really something a very common thing or behavior of a gambler.
You wouldn't really be making out some learnings until you would really be able to experience those hard moments or situations in life on which it is really that something that pertains about
those having struggles when it comes to finances on which it would really be just that so normal that people will continue as long they do able to play since they do still have
the money that they could be able to do so, but on the time that they have none? For sure they would really be having that kind of realization in the end.
890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: December 01, 2023, 07:37:20 PM
The first one in the story, he could have use his own prediction to his self and solo the million dollar winning. That way, he will never work again. Or maybe there is a catch about those powers he have? Like it will only take effect on other people? But, let's only hope that his boss gave him a good a share.

The second one, was crazy. Really, octopus? Cheesy. I wonder how did they figure this out at first? Number 3 is also a bit funny, because they are religious leaders and they are supposed to be against with gambling. But the most hilarious among all is the last one. It is seems that those people are also lunatic themselves for them to believe on it.
Things would really be ending up to be a belief if it once that you had been able to experience for yourself. If someone do make out those kind of beliefs and strictly following it then pretty sure there's really a history behind of those. Just let them be on what are the things that they do believe because its their money after all on what they have bet on and not ours.
If they do see that it is really that they could really be able to winnings with those kind of approach then just like been said its their choice but in overall and realistic
approach and comments about these things then it is really just that pure coincidence yet we know that there's no such thing on this world that could
really be able to influence on how lucky you are.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 06:56:46 PM
If you have the opportunity to withdraw profit, then why not do it? If you obviously make a minimum deposit which is enough for several games, and you do not reach the amount you would like to withdraw, then this is one thing, but if the winnings allow you to withdraw your profit, then it is worth doing. I understand that many people play without much hope of winning, but if you are constantly losing, don’t you want to stop doing it?
That winning will allow withdraw of his money, but the amount he would win if he cash out is half of the total amount that he wwoukd win if he let all the matches to finish and if he won. But matches can be disappointing, unexpected outcomes can later happen. I also will advise him to just withdraw.
It doesn't matter what amount of the total winning in cash out and if it doesn't bring in the total winning based on the total odds on a 100% basis which must meet all the games winnings, only then do we have total satisfaction of our bets most especially if you stake the bet with a small amount that you can afford to lose if the games do not go your way.
So for that, I won't take a half of the total payment as payment since I can wait and take the 100 at least if I am lucky enough to have won that amount in accumulations.
It all matters with satisfaction and contentment on the money that you are getting because if you do like to get that 100% payout then for sure you would really be that going into the end of line or
the game but if you are contented with the current payout that you are getting then its not bad to cash out early. A profit is profit no matter how small or big it is, it will always be depending
on you, whether you would be cashing out or not. Just like the rest been saying that it would be better to follow your own decision rather than on following on someone.
2 games might be that too near and if you are confident that those remaining games will be a win then go ahead and finish it but if you do have doubts
then it isnt bad to cash out early.
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: December 01, 2023, 06:16:12 PM

While I agree with your perspective of gambling as entertainment, how frequently does "fun gambling" match reality? Gambling's variable outcomes and financial stakes preclude regulated enjoyment. In pursuit of prospective gains, the human mind may not stick to "simply for fun". Is it a problem to promote gambling as harmless fun when it can lead to loss and addiction? Gambling's psychological effects (winning and losing) can be substantial even with self-imposed boundaries. Entertainment can soon become a deadly habit on this slippery path. Even in its most harmless versions, shouldnt we be aware of these risks when gambling?
Fun gambling often does not correspond to reality, whereas, in reality, many gamblers lose when betting. That's because they can't control themselves while gambling and are influenced by greed and other desires. They cannot enjoy gambling as they should, so they are affected and instead continue gambling without stopping to rest. The psychological effects of gambling can indeed make many gamblers refuse to stop gambling because they still want to chase wins or recover their losses. That's what made everything change until they ended up losing a lot of money. Even though gambling is just for fun between activities and not to make money, it becomes dangerous for those who cannot control themselves when gambling. And that is also what makes many people say that gambling is not good and everyone should stay away from it. But if they can use gambling properly, gambling is not as dangerous as they imagine. It's just that we have forgotten how to treat gambling.
Yes, it is true that psychological impacts such as emotions always influence a gambler mind to become worse and become greedy, so as you said, many gamblers fail to know the right time to stop betting while their minds are dominated by greed which is caused by this psychological impact and all gamblers who have been around for a long time in gambling have experienced this situation.
Gambling games are good or not depending on how we perceive gambling and also how we manage our minds so as not to be influenced by bad things like that and if a gambler manages to manage his mind without being affected by bad things, gambling will definitely be a very interesting thing.
It is always because of someones decision making and on how they do treat up gambling in the first place. Most gamblers are really that delusional on which they do really believe
that they could really be able to make money or make themselves rich with gambling and this is something a mindset that would really make you push into your limits.
Gambling isnt bad if you are really just playing just for fun but on the time that those intents had changed up overtime then this is where bad things do happen.
You would be able to caught yourself on a bad situation when you dont have the money anymore or simply does have that huge problem with finances
and of course you know that but its already too late.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 01, 2023, 04:42:10 PM
If you're someone who doesn't believe anyone can be profitable in gambling, you might as well consider yourself not welcome in this thread. I'm looking for people who maintain optimism about their chances in gambling so they can share valuable insights.

Now, let's hear your opinion. In 3...2...1... go!

Sure, there might be poker players out there, who play professionally and actually make profits somehow. But this type of "career" is almost impossible for most people. And I believe that giving someone false hope that gambling can be a method to earn a stable income is wrong and should not be encouraged. There are enough people with problems in the world of gambling, I see no need to further add on to those problems with such ridiculous claims.

If you want to convince someone that gambling can be a source of income, then you should lead by example and provide proof.

Yes it is possible or very likely that there are some or even many people who can earn from their gambling in any gambling, but I would not really believe if there is the word consistent in income because in general the risk will always be greater but maybe they have a pretty good way that can minimize the risk and increase the percentage of winning or luck. Of course, when it comes to career I really don't believe a gambler can build a successful career, if there are some people who motivate others that they can use gambling as a place to make a "consistent" income then I think their mindset is disturbed, and as you said it is really not recommended because of the level of risk that is much greater.

There is enough evidence and facts that show that anyone who brings the mindset of wanting to make stable money from gambling always ends up with a downfall and many other problems.  It is just a push of nonsense, and it makes sense as your suggestion if there are people who say like that then we will be able to believe if they provide real evidence, so we must be more careful.
When it comes to consistency then it would really be that surely a non possible thing considering that we are speaking or talking about gambling knowing that chances and odds are really that against
us on long term manner. If you do mold up something like on the idea on having a living with gambling then you are really just that making yourself desperate on trying out to reach something
which it cant really be that too easy to attain or simply it cant really be just that possible. This is why gamblers do really play further because on having these kind of beliefs
on which trying out to achieve and make it that happen that gambling could really make them rich which we know that there are really that slim chances for it to
happen. Greed is what makes you that thinking up that way.

but..
are you addicted if it's not a problem for your routine?
are you addicted if you can stop at any time?
are you addicted if it makes you money and you have a healthy relationship with it, enjoying your activity?

Fair enough.

If a behavior is not causing you any harm, and is making you money instead, while making you happy, then I wouldn't say it's an addiction.

Having said that, the odds tell me that you might be in a tiny minority, as the vast majority of people would lose money in gambling when all is considered.
Only a few would really be able to sustain out or become that successful with gambling or someone who do really be able to make themselves that profitable and sustaining and the rest would really be just simply losers and this is the reality of gambling and this is where people would really be that trying to achieve when they do gamble. Addicts could be considered into those people who are really impulsive and totally irresponsible with their actions like spending tons of money, taking up some loans and compromising their life savings on which this is a solid indication that a certain
person is really that addicted on which it did really comes into a point that thinking up wisely and sensibly is something that you cant really be able to do so and ending up on
damaging things on which that are important.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 30, 2023, 11:43:30 PM
I understand that this is fake and was made for a joke. But some people dont know what jokes should be ended or are inappropriate... However, since some casinos have "special" section in sports betting (why this is in sports betting anyway?), and allow to place bets on election outcome, or on Oscar winner, or on music event like Eurovision, I would not be much surprised that in 5 or 10 years we would really have such absurd betting options. And most important what scares me, that casinos will hide behind "there is a demand on such betting" and there really be people who will find this demanding.

This was a joke but I also think casino will soon start having options to bet on events like this. It's sad but the casino will always give the people what they want and if some gamblers starts requesting for betting on events like this and it doesn't go against any laws, we might start seeing them. On the dark web I think we also have platforms like this that allows individuals to bet on outcome of wars between countries, diseases outbreak and all sort of events.

Gamblers don't care about what they're gambling on, what they're after is the profits they'll make because most individual that gamble don't watch the league they gamble in or are familiar with the sports, they just gamble because they see an opportunity to make money and what to take it and that's why we have many gamblers losing because they don't understand what they're doing but only doing it for the fun or they feel they can win.
Do you really think that it could be possible? Do you really think that there would really be that demand on that? Do you really think that government would really be that allowing for that kind of betting which is really that correlated or connected to war? I dont think so. Also, just like the rest been saying that its never been that ethical on having one. So if this one had been pushed through, then what would be the betting type or options could be? Like who would be the one will win the war? How many casualties or people who die on the said period? etc. etc...

With those kind of betting lines, then you do really think that people who are in their right minds will really be that loving on making out some bet?
Even with those gambling addicts would really be having doubt on doing so yet there's still humanity on  their hearts and this is something
which isnt really that ethical.

With hundreds or probably thousands of games online, I'd like to ask why would you choose sports betting?

I believe that sports betting has become more popular here in the forum since most gambling sites, our reputable gambling sites are already sports betting on the menu. So, out of curiosity ( don't want to assume), what are the reasons why you fall in love with sports betting?
Well for me, why I like sports is because am also a player too and a player supposed like sports, and before you can be a good focaster you need to know everything about football.
Just like me na draw be my best prediction for sport betting, and something I use to win..
Would really be an advantage if you are that someone whose really having that kind of interest and knowledge towards sports on which making dealing with sports betting would really be something
that would get in line with your interest or something that on the time that you do place your bets then you do really know that you are somewhat knowledgeable and you do know that you could really be having the edge compared into those moments that you dont have any idea on what you are doing. This is why it would really be important that you do really have that knowledge
when it comes to a particular sport so that you wont really be that making just some pure guesses on the time that you do make out some bets.
You could really be able to compare to those bettors who are betting with their knowledge and to those who are none.

I think it's depend on what gambling a gambler play and the frequency of the bet, if it's luck-based gambling, it has to be fifty-fifty chance or lower. if it's sport gambling, there are 80% win rate at one attempt, but it provides very low odd/rewards, like putting bet on who will win the game Real Madrid vs Cadiz. lol

I think gambling is always luck-based bet at the start which potentially changes onwards. Poker for example, It's fifty-fifty or lower chance to before the cards are distributed, it changes after the cards are distributed. But when gambling is played on certain duration with some amount of bets, It will never be more than 50% chance of winning.

You're right about that and it depends on who's doing it and what kind of gambling he's playing. And I mentioned that it's not impossible to get, but to get it is very difficult. And when it comes to sports betting, this type of gambling seems to promise us enough to be able to win, because in practice this gambling is very dependent on the analysis techniques we do and depends on the club that is competing. So the opportunity to be able to increase the possibility of us getting the victory is always there.

When we talk about card gambling, this depends on the knowledge and a trick that you play when gambling. because if you have a good enough trick to weaken your opponent, then you can win.
Doesnt matter on what type, kind or etc. of  gambling you are involved into on which you would naturally be able to get those kind of learnings along the way which it isnt really just that limited
on gambling activity but also in other things as well if we do speak about learning those kind of traits. Skills could be acquired normally basing up on the thing that you are dealing with. You are someone whose really that mindful when it comes to enhancing skills and behaviors then it would be naturally be coming into you and something that do talks about improving yourself into this aspect
on which this could really be that something that would really be beneficial for you on longer runs.

These wins that get posted on social media including this forum are one in a thousand or more. The rest of them are losing the bets. If everyone was winning the bets, the casino would go bankrupt, but that never happening, we all know that.

Hence by showing one big win, it does not mean that the next bet is going to be another big win. Maybe even the person who made this bet won big after a long line of losses and it is possible that they money they made on this one still does not break even the cumulative losses till date.

My point being that gambling can be a win for some, if so cash out and never come back - but for most people it will be a loss and the casino will always be the winner.
That part is "obvious" and yet some people are still missing the point for some reason, I have absolutely no idea why. I get that it may not be all that easy and we may look at it differently but that doesn't mean that we are talking about something that will take all that much time. I feel like we could see the situation changing eventually and we need to end up with something that should be easier to handle.

I hope that it could get to a point where we could say it's doing fine, and should be doing fine and people could realize these are rare wins, but unfortunately some newbies still fail, even veterans could fail to see that at times and get hyped about it. This is not to blame anyone, but these wins are basically promotion material for casinos, why would a casino promote them losing money? To get others trying to do the same and lose their money.

It's true, nobody wants to reveal how much they've lost in gambling, but once the big win results appears, their timeline won't take a rest. We can use the OP as an example of gamblers who would gamble hoping to win, due to the screenshot of his friend's wins. While gambling the possibility of winning big is certain, more like losing big amount gradually. Some gamblers think of it as a method of saving money, until one day the casino would refund them all losses with a jackpot. Yet, not every gambler get lucky enough to hit huge amount of money. And when they do win big, the money rarely last a long time until it goes back to the gambling house. Cashing out and calling it a day for gambling activity, is not achievable. Unless the player has a second plan, he won't give up on gambling after hitting a huge win. It's like, not having something else to think about, except gambling. If they player invests the money on a fresh business, he's not sure of recovering back the money invested. Hence, going to gamble again, is the only option. As he'll be more convinced of gaining more wins, just the same way he got his jackpot or big win.
it would be a personal thing because we neither be that ashamed to reveal those losses into the public on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be hiding it no matter what
and would really be just showcasing on the amount that you had won recently.  Wink It is really just that so common that people would be boasting up their wins rather than on their losses on which we wont really be able on what are those numbers because that would really be a deep secret. This is why its better not to mind yourself on trying to think on how much losses they do have.
It turns out that someone did make some multiple bets which it did really ends up on getting those sure hits which it causing for it to end up on $18k on just simply having that $20
which it is really indeed a big bet.

#tbt topic
Good bankroll management will basically depend on how you understand the size of the bet, then you have to be very efficient in other points, such as playing time, among other things, mentioned before (others topics); sleep and eat correctly.

You will say, shit, what does eating and sleeping have to do with banking management, well, a healthy mind, healthy decisions, among other financial aspects, is a long path that is based on study and experience.

So, you can be managing your bankroll well for years but it only takes a couple of bets to destroy what takes years to build.
That's when limiting your deposits can help. Don't know which casinos offer this but some big ones like Bet365 offer the option to limit your max deposits per week or month. It helps you stay in control and not lose all the bankroll in a single session

You can also do this manually by keeping a hot wallet and one bank/cold wallet. Make sure the cold wallet is either locked or managed by a responsible person. I used to stake my coins in past so that I cannot withdraw and deposit them overnight.

I dont able to encounter such platforms that do have that kind of feature on trying out to limit deposits on which it is really that somewhat really impossible knowing that these platforms are businesses
on which making out such limit does really totally going against their main motive on which is to make money. If ever they do have that kind of feature in speaking about limitation of deposits then
it is really that actually that useful for those someone who do have impulsive approach on things.

#2
Im not really that much confident if we do speak about letting others people do handle my wallet or my funds just for the sake of controlling yourself on not to spend your money on that particular
night. I wont really be having that kind of trust and confidence towards things.

This is why it would really be that important that you should really be that managing your bankroll would be crucial on which better to avoid
on having that kind of all-in behavior because this is where people do usually mess up.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: November 30, 2023, 08:36:00 PM
I have a developer who recently stumbled on multiple AI he uses for sport betting predictions, he uses it to generate sport bettings but none of the bets gets to be accurate as it generates tens of games. but when used to generate a much lesser number of games the predictions are sometimes  correct, at least 3 in 10 predictions of "multiple" bets.

But he loves having 30+ games "multiple" bet to win big amount and so far it has been a challenge in the last 5-6 weeks as his winnings have drastically dropped.

Should AI be relied on for sport betting predictions?
Its never been reliable on the first place and this is why making out some bets on making use of AI is never been recommendable but if you are really that curious whether its working or not then
here's a solid example that it doesnt. Trying out to force that it is working? then it would be your own choice because sooner or later you would really be able to find out that its never been that
worth on trying out to rely yourself with these things. Yes, AI could really be able sum up with those relevant information basing up on what are the information that had been stored up
basing on the past events but we know that there are things on which AI couldnt be able to assess.

For information seeking then it would be that relevant, but in speaking about trusting up 100% on the information that it do gives and on the sense that you are already relying
on it in means of betting then i would say that its not recommendable.
