It's been almost 1 month since the faucet was closed and yet didn't make any big impact on the price even if it's listed on another exchange. I think the problem is not just the faucet but it's also the promoting and marketing strategy of the coin. Yes, price is stable to 1k+ because there are few dumpers now since the faucet was closed however the demand is not increasing so the price is not moving and its too boring. Indeed, its tech is great since instant and no transaction fee but it will lost its opportunity to shine if its lack in adaption. So what's the plan? Just develop and listed it with another exchange but will not make a big impact? Developing and listing sound interesting to promote it but it's not appealing to invest on the coin because of it and maybe instant and transaction free are not enough. Many of the new coins doesn't have a good wallet and only have 1 exchange but still price is rapidly increasing in just few weeks. It's been years and XRB still stuck at this price but I will still observing since some of you said that it's just a new beginning. Let's see until the 1st quarter next year. Hope there will be more supporters since I don't want this coin to be in vain. I challenge the devs and its supporters to make a quick progress and think another way how it will be appealing.

good project support $-XRB, i like xrb because zero fee and really very fast transaction better than other crypto

with xrb, you can buy a cup of coffee without having to pay a transaction fee and there is no need to wait for the long-confirmation just like bitcoin (which usually takes 20 minutes or more)

I have some XRB coins too, and I want some coffee, but nowhere that accepts XRB
saying you can use XRB to pay/buy this and that without anyone actually accepting it for transaction
it is only just a saying... won't make people believe in it easily
make it real, prove XRB is better than other cryptos by real use in any transaction
currently I'm accepting XRB for prepaid airtime but only locally... it's small step but I tried
eventhough no sale yet since posted 2 weeks ago on my local board 

If you want XRB to grow bigger and more valuable, you can start by accepting/using it
depending only the number acceptances of exchanges won't get XRB nowhere
no real use... no demands... no where to go (dies slowly)

I'm really keen to make more uses for RaiBlocks, perhaps a cup of coffee is the starting point. If people have ideas about how we could go about making this happen I would be onboard to support them, whether its through contacting an existing service (crypto/coffee) or developing a gift card reselling system or if someone wanted to develop a payment system for RaiBlocks - just get in touch.

Just be patient man, you can't rush things, everything takes time and xrb will eventually have its time. I understand the frustrations you are feeling right now, being a fan of the project it's quite disappointing that upto now this coin is still so undervalued but xrb had encounter a lot of problems through the time it has been present in the market, it's been left out by the previous devs and now that the new devs are taking over, they encountered another problem and that's the distribution but still even after all the obstacles, we have survived and upto now xrb is still alive and is still relevant so just take a deep breath and forget about the price for awhile. Let the devs do their job, eventually we will go the moon.

What's holding back XRB from getting listed on big exchanges like Bittrex and Binance? I know it got delisted from Cryptopia for some reason. Is this something that has been/can be solved?

It’s a really good question, I’m part of the raiblocks exchange team so hopefully am well placed to answer.
 
There are two main reasons, firstly the crypto exchange arena/environment has changed in the last few months making it very challenging to get a coin onto an exchange. The second reason is that RaiBlocks is late to the party.
 
Exploring the first reason - with the rapid proliferation of ICOs its increasingly hard to get onto exchanges, ICOs often have deep pockets and conform to a particular standard such as EC20. Exchanges, especially established ones, have loads of markets running and are usually very busy keeping their user experience smooth- it’s easier to add a standardised coin from a team who will pay big fees then to consider a more unique technology from a small but dynamic team. Now this is not true of all exchanges, lots have the pioneering spirit of the early crypto days and this is coupled with recent ICO regulation had led to a demand for non-ICO coins as well. There is also an element of exchanges wanting to see volume before they'll consider adding - but you need exchanges to add volume - you get the point.
 
Secondly while raiblocks has been around for quite a longtime due to its design, cool features and unique code it wasn’t ready for addition to exchanges. This was both a technological and also community issue. The wallet now works well and can cope a lot better with the expected demand of a web service and with the closure of the distribution (faucet) there is a cultural change, away from free money and more towards what can raiblocks do for you...
 
The exchange team are working hard, they are contacting and liaising with exchanges big and small, we have exciting things lined up but its important to remember - the first rule of exchange club is you don't talk about exchange club (when applying to exchanges you are required not to discuss your application until you are about to be listed!)
 
We will post as much info as we can when its available.

Cool! Looking forward at the end of this year to be listed to more exchanges. Been HODLing XRBs for quite a while now.

I've had some from the beginning when the faucet was giving away 200 per captcha.  Good things will come but we all pretty much knew this was a long time holder.

Yeah from the moment the new devs stepped in, we all knew that this coin is for long term investment and the process for its success will be baby steps but don't worry though we'll get there. We'll moon in the right time, I honestly didn't expect the price trends though, I thought after 6k we'll be going forward but sadly that wasn't the case.

Finally another exchange taking in xrb. That is a very good news. Checked the price at bitgrail and it did rose up. Keep up the good job devs.
