1121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: November 06, 2016, 11:05:29 AM
If it's too good to be true then it's definitely a scam. If you doubt investing to it, just invest a very small amount from your portfolio like only 5%.  Don't let your emotions get over with you. Just set a maximum percent from your portfolio to invest so either scam or not, you won't lose all your bitcoin easily.

You are right that testing a service before going in with all is obviously a better idea because in this way you will also come to know if the site is a scam or not and if it is not a scam you will get your profit from what you have invested, because sometimes even the most trusted sites of the community turn scam which can hurt you badly.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: November 06, 2016, 11:03:32 AM
Price stability is exactly what some people and businesses are waiting for, up until the last week or so that's just what we had.
But for sure the huge price fluctuations we seen in the past was a big draw card, it was just cool to watch.

Bitcoin may become a little more boring for some with a stable price but it will kick a lot more exciting businesses off i think.

Even if bitcoin gets adopted by a lot more exciting new businesses but it wont be fun using bitcoin as a person if its price stays stable for always, it is really fun to watch that fluctuation and see when you gain and when you lose dollars from the amount of bitcoins you have.
1123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin help your life in daily needs? on: November 06, 2016, 11:01:34 AM
It is the bitcoin that helps me with my daily life because i have no other source of income except bitcoin, i earn bitcoins every month and convert a part of it to fiat and spend them on myself or buy anything i need, it helps me a lot with my finances of daily life.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 06, 2016, 10:34:35 AM
before I was afraid to take risks and just kept the money in the bank. But then I realized that the money should not just lie. After all, in which case they are depreciated. Then I started to invest in various projects. It brings me a profit.

Though investing is good because that can make you able to increase the money you have which involves risk too, but saving is not bad as well, so someone should invest money into good projects and then save some portion of profits he gets from those investments.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who next do you think gonna run away with people BTC on: November 06, 2016, 10:22:14 AM
According to the topic; am thinking of Coince.com, Genesis Mining and Hashflare.
finger crossed watching from high distance sipping my coke and popcorn.

If i gamble with my BTC and win or loss is better than giving those egg-head my money to runaway.
Who do you think is next to parkupBTCBTCBTC

Unfortunately any excahnge platform can run away with peoples bitcoins.

That`s why bitcoin will never be mass adopted and will never become a popular global currency.

Any bitcoin related business can turn into a scam. Sad

I don't agree that just because some websites turn scam it would not let bitcoin to become a popular global currency, because these scams and etc are done in real life too but it does not affect any coin, it just proves the company or anyone doing it bad.
1126  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 06, 2016, 10:04:11 AM
You dont need to provide any personal information for buying bitcoins these days.

I disagree.
Please explain to me how you would go about buying say,
$10,000 worth of Bitcoins right now without providing any personal information on any site.

I would argue that Bitcoin is far from anonymous.
Unless you already have the coins in your possession, and never want to convert them to fiat ever,
at some point you need to tie it to your personal information.

I guess you can do that on localbitcoins.com where you don't need to provide any personal information to the person who sells you his coins, you probably don't need to buy them all at once, buy them in portions.
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 06, 2016, 09:58:37 AM
I use bitcoins because i earn them basically, and other reasons are that i know having bitcoins is just like having an active investment because the price of bitcoin keeps growing with the time, atleast it has been growing since i joined it.
1128  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2016, 09:37:53 AM
I think that as long as the child did not ask about cryptocurrency, he does not need to talk about it. But when interested then we can say that this kind of kind of money

That can be the right thing, when a kid is not just aware of something like it then we are not supposed to push them towards it, but it would be our duty to tell them about it when they ask themselves and you see they are really interested in it.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin ATM going to affect bitcoin? on: November 04, 2016, 05:57:20 PM
I am wondering if there are a lot of bitcoin ATM spread around in your country, how will it affect to bitcoin, will it attract more user, will it boost bitcoin reputation, or will it provoke the government for banned the coin? because as we know bitcoin also give freedom to money laundry, and other illegal transaction

It can probably be the reason of raising awareness among people for bitcoin but as you said it can also provoke government if they are a lot and people are getting attracted towards bitcoin more than banks etc, in such a case government can permanently ban them and that wont be a good news.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: November 04, 2016, 05:51:33 PM
Yes just few days back a exchange site ran away with appreciable amount of money. I think exchange sites come to loot user if they can't profit with their plans. But they should have little mercy on users hard earned money. Don't they feel insecure to run away with money if millions of people. I think exchange site have some rules and regulations and should be under registration of local police.

They can run an exchange without problems for years and years however if they make 1 mistake, it's gone.

We can see a lot of examples, olders or not about this.

Just keep your money with you.

People should simply avoid new exchange sites coming to being everyday who does not have any known and well reputed members from the community because in such cases if the exchange runs away with the money, the investors should be guilty for their mistake not the exchange itself as they should have known.
1131  Other / Meta / Re: how to get positive trust ?? on: November 04, 2016, 05:48:33 PM
People get negative trust on this forum quite easily while getting positive trust is not easy at all, because for that you will have to be completely clean by nature and record as well and also you will have to do some honest trades with those trusted and reputed forum members or moderators, and then if they give you positive feedback you will have positive trust on your profile.
1132  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .05 BTC (you can read what I can give you back) on: November 04, 2016, 05:45:12 PM
If you really have that much to do then why are you asking for a loan? Just go to services section and post a thread with your services and i'm sure you will get some people who will need help with any of these things and you might earn more than 0.5btc without having to pay any interests, and you wont get any loan by giving such offers to people really.
1133  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: November 04, 2016, 05:40:46 PM
It's quite hard to convince people who doesn't have at least a reasonable knowledge about this "new" payment system... I sell musical instruments and electronics cheaper (10%) if the client negotiate with Bitcoin. I also sell shirts and lotta music related stuffs. I put in local newspaper that I accept Bitcoin, but I just sold ~10 itens directly.

The most basic thing is the mentality of people living around you, if they have any interest in something like bitcoin then you will probably get some customers but if the environment around you is quite of old mentality who does not like any change then it would become hard for you to run a business accepting bitcoins as a payment for it.
1134  Economy / Lending / Re: i need 0.10 btc loan urgent now on: November 04, 2016, 05:37:23 PM
i can give my real facebook account as collateral

Lol. I never heard of someone getting a loan by giving a facebook account as collateral, if that was possible then every newbie would have been filling their wallets with facebook accounts and getting loans as big as 0.1BTC, try working a little and earn the money yourself than doing all this and wasting your time.
1135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the way to request a specific amount of Bitcoin on: November 04, 2016, 05:33:17 PM
like if i want to requset 0.1BTC from someone and i want exactly 0.1 BTC
i dont want him to send any other amount
(fees also on him)
it is something like invoice

what is the way to do that ?

If someone sends 0.1BTC from his wallet to your address, you will receive exactly the same amount he sent because the fees are deducted from his wallet balance but not from the amount he is trying to send, if he is having exactly 0.1BTC in his wallet and he puts all of them in the transaction, the wallet would tell him to reduce the sending amount as he has to pay 0.0001BTC as fees as well.
1136  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What type of products you would like to buy with Bitcoins? on: November 04, 2016, 05:30:01 PM
Paying directly with bitcoin is almost impossible but indirectly through third party services it ispossible

It is not impossible but it is just not done by anyone yet, if someone starts a service like an online marketplace accepting bitcoins with support of worldwide shipping like amazon and many other places, then that would be the best gift for bitcoin users i guess, but the thing is no one does it yet or maybe no one can do it.

I think it  paying of bitcoin had been done years ago.  It is that, those who are buying with it is not too noisy about it.  I known a person who bought a miner with bitcoin.  There are also some store that accept bitcoin directly.  And if you ask me even altcoin is used directly to buy those items.  One example of the altcoin that can be used to buy digital goods is GCOIN, though there is a limit on how much they are selling per week,  You just need to search for it.

Just checked out one or two stores accepting bitcoins and you wont believe they are selling the same things we can get in our locality 2x higher in price, now how come a bitcoin user would buy things which are so expensive? Someone would probably think that he should change his coins into fiat and buy the thing in a lower price.
1137  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Lightly moderated forum/chat - good idea? on: November 04, 2016, 05:18:30 PM
You should do it according to your situations, if you have active moderators that can provide good support to your users then a chat would probably be better, but if you think the moderators are not always available so you guys better try managing a forum for the users to ask their questions and inquiries and that would be easier to moderate for a team mostly inactive because of personal reasons.
1138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me, what can I do with my bitcoins? on: November 04, 2016, 05:12:59 PM
If i were you i will use those smaller amount to top up my mobile balance as it is easier way to spend bitcoins and there are many sites which allow toping up mobile with bitcoin. One of my favourite is bitrefill.com and their price and fee also seems quite cheaper.

But if you like to purchase things in ebay, amazon you can have bitcoin debit card attached to your paypal account and shop wherever paypal is accepted.

Let your BITCOIN grow.
Dont be in a hurry to use them now.  Let them grow first. Invest and buy more and then learn trading.
You may use your bitcoin to trade other cryptos...

Wait till there are more establishments that accept BTC.

Though growing bitcoins is good but maybe if he is having just a small amount he wont be able to grow it a lot as if you have a bigger amount it will be easier to grow it with the time.

There are still a lot of sites that allow you to purchase items with Bitcoins. Two of the bigger online retailers that accept bitcoin are Newegg & Overstock

You can definitely find something to purchase there!

Just checked Overstock and found it really expensive, the things that we get here in really cheap rate are there with really expensive rates.
1139  Other / Archival / Re: invest your btc here and get 3% daily profit intrest rate.. on: November 04, 2016, 05:04:53 PM
Lol  Grin Someone pinch me please!
Do you really think someone will fall for this obvious scam of yours? Atleast you could make your thread or OP look a bit in order or better in look, the way of writing, the mistakes, these things make it clear anyway, that 3% per day plan is another thing.
You have posted in in a wrong section by the way, move your thread to Investment-based games.
1140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it safe to keep all your Bitcoins in one wallet? on: November 04, 2016, 05:00:40 PM
It depends on how good you are at managing different account.
In case you are a little absentminded and put the list with your passwords in places you forget them, or match the passwords to the wrong wallets, it might be a good decision to make it as easy as possible.
And that would mean having just one wallet where everything comes together.

Of course, if that one wallet is corrupted somehow, everything is gone.
Is there any posibility that one wallet can be corrupted somehow? and then what will the CEO gonna do with the bitcoins? i think it save automatically into his wallet? And yeh it depends on how good he is managing different accounts of bitcoin wallets and for me i always printing important things and information regarding on my bitcoin wallet.

A wallet does not simply get corrupted, it can get hacked or someone can forget the password if he is using a web wallet, and in that case if you have not saved your recovery phrase and you also don't have your private key then your bitcoins will be freezed their and no one will have access to them unless someone hack your account which i don't know if possible or not.
