1221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: October 26, 2016, 04:53:32 PM
Easy to use and understand
Quick and can be transferred anywhere
Very less transaction fees
Very good concept and technology

LOL, if it is easy to use and understand then why are people still having a hard time learning it the first time around?

I like bitcoin for it's security and transparency.  You can check every transaction in the blockchain.  Transaction is instant though confirmation  seems lifetime LOL.  Low transaction fees,  and as in an early stage, earning potential is very attractive.

It is obviously easy to use once you get it but it is not easy to understand i feel too, because the technology of bitcoin is quite complicated for those who comes newly into it or for the ones who have never been involved with this kind of technologies.
Other advantages of it are low fees, good security and a lot more.
1222  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: October 26, 2016, 04:50:18 PM
I  dont agree, several people give up invest at bitcoins because the bubble if bitcoin were worthing a 600 dollars and today fluctuating 50 dollars up or down we would be much bigger then we are.

That is the reason why it catches the attention of investors because when it starts growing it just gives you great profits as an investor, see the price right now, before a few days it was around $610 and now we can see its reaching around $660-670, so if the price was stable that change would not have been possible which in a result would have been the reason of less users.
1223  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2016, 04:47:43 PM
I don't have any assets to be kept in bitcoin or any other currency, as i'm just an student right now and never have been working, but i just earn some money from bitcoin which are giving a financial support to me for my studies or other things.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 26, 2016, 04:45:44 PM
Paper money will stay forever.
Why? Because its easier to make than coins.

they are also easy to counterfeit than bitcoin or electronic payment, i guess they will eventually fade away slowly or reduced for only small business in the future
what does the future say about the paper money i dont know what they think about the papermoney becuase i dont know much aboht the future of the bitcoin you know!

The future of bitcoin is unpredictable, so is the future of paper money, because either one of them will be used the most in the world in future now it cannot be predicted if which one of them will stay and which will vanish forever, or maybe both of them will be used, one as the main currency and second as an alternative.
1225  Other / Off-topic / Re: For how many people you introduced the Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2016, 04:44:03 PM
I actually never properly introduced it to anyone, but the ones who used to ask me about it when they see its name or anything related to it when i'm involved with it so i used to give a small briefing about it, and also to my friends and families who asks me if where do i earn this money from, i tell them about it but not in depth.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: October 26, 2016, 04:40:32 PM

Whether they believe or they do not believe it is very obvious that Bitcoin is very strong. Bitcoin is getting more and more user base every day and night. Some people are even predicting that that bitcoin may overshadow the longtime powerful US dollar, so what is the point arguing whether it is strong or not.

Strong in the sense that it has a biggest value among cryptocurrency and millions of dollars are being transacted daily. From coinmarket cap,no one lodge bitcoin from number one spot.It is the father of all cryptos.

There is no doubt in the fact that bitcoin is the king of crypto world and no other coin in this industry can compete with it in any terms, whether it is value, user base, anonymity or any other features bitcoin represent.
1227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: October 26, 2016, 04:21:12 PM
I was using aliexpress for shopping online and alibaba for shopping online for that I was using my credit card and my bank account and I was thinking to join a site where I will buy with my bitcoin but now as shopawl is doing our shopping from aliexpress with bitcoin so now I can shop with my bitcoin from aliexpress.

Is shopawl up and working? Because i placed an order there from ebay.com and i never got the information for payment to my email, i thought maybe they are offline now and just their site is running but they are not doing anything with it.
1228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me, what can I do with my bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 04:17:44 PM
The only possible way i heard about buying things from amazon using bitcoin is purse.io, but their system is quite complicated, first you need to make sure if amazon ships the item in your place and then you should place your order according to what purse.io tells you, and then if a buyer accepts your offer and buys you the thing then that will be shipped to you, so in case if you don't get a buyer, your order will just remain an order in purse.io.
1229  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Web hosts that can be paid in bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 04:13:24 PM
This makes me realize how much success bitcoin has got in 5 years.

vekja should correct their prices.
25 BTC per week is just insane.

A web host charging 25BTC/week for the services, and today This site offers the services for 0.015BTC/month.
1230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHOULD I BUY AND HOLD BTC, DASH, DOGE on: October 26, 2016, 04:02:55 PM
Doge has zero potential for being an invest net option. Its infinite supply is making long time investing in this coin basically worthless.

That is actually right, Dogecoin has got no potential at all to be a good investment which can generate any profits to you in long run if you are willing to hold, I even think Dash should also not be held for long term as that is also an alt coin which can make a u-turn anytime, the only thing deserves holding is bitcoin which has got the potential of growth in long run.
1231  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: October 26, 2016, 03:59:56 PM
In our country there are only one store that accepts btc. And it is only an online shop. I do convert my btc on to local currency that can able me to buy stuffs. Too sad that I had to convert first I will be glad if a supermarket or a department store accepts btc in our country
Yes I agree. I also convert my btc into my local currency to purchase item that I want to buy because there are only few shops here that recognize bitcoin.

You should be thankful that you even have an online shop in your country that accepts bitcoins, in my case i don't even have a website of my country accepting bitcoins where i can buy things using my bitcoins, if i want to do that i need to do that on international websites which has quite high shipping fees.
1232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to invist / store my Bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 03:55:13 PM
Just hold it, the future is good for bitcoin.. Holding is the only safest way to invest and you just wait until the price will increase and when you see you desired price then that is the time to sell, pretty simple in making money here if you believe on the future of bitcoin..

Holding will depend on whether bitcoin will produce the desired result of increasing price. But sometimes, bitcoin just suddenly drops. So be careful when that happens.

Holding surely generates profits to the holder but only if he is patient, because as you said sometimes the price drops and sometimes it grows, so if you are willing to get profits just by holding them for one or two months then you might don't get success in that as the price might drop a bit in that period of time, though it recovers again but as i said you will have to be patient for that.
1233  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do you know when a site tries to scam you? on: October 26, 2016, 03:53:24 PM
the best way is actually through testimonial from other user or any info regard to the site, but if nobody test it yet then you need to check the legitimate of the site, like where did they set up the site, how long they owned the domain, one of the simple trick i usually do is, i sent email to the customer support to see any reply or not, if they are real they will reply you, but of course you can't depend only on this trick

You answered your thing yourself, that someone would probably not only depend on that fact that their support is answering you or not because we have also seen scammers in past where there support used to be very responsive but they were still declared scam later on.
1234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can i buy bitcoins on: October 26, 2016, 03:50:33 PM
Localbitcoin is a good place to buy some. In my country we have Coin.ph. Where we can just transfer funds online to their bank account, and convert the case in their website to bitcoins. Check out google and see if there is a similar service.

Localbitcoins work almost like that i guess, because in localbitcoins if you find a seller from your country then you can send your money to his bank account and then he will give you bitcoins for that, fees depends on your bank transfer fees otherwise there isn't any fees there i guess.

Edit: Make sure that the seller is a trusted one, which you can get to know by seeing their successful trade numbers written in front of there accounts.
1235  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 03:47:55 PM
You can also try shopawl and purse for buying your clothes with the help of these sites you can easily buy any suit/cloth from amazon and ebay which I think are more famous for stylish clothes etc.

Not sure about purse.io as i never got any orders confirmed from there but i tried shopawl for buying a watch from ebay where they said they will send me the payment info so that i can pay them and then my order will be shipped, but until now i did not get any email from them.
If someone knows any other website that can ship things to Pakistan and accepting bitcoins then please suggest that to me.
1236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Smart, When Investing Your Bitcoins In Various Sites on: October 26, 2016, 03:42:28 PM
I used to judge majority of hyips/investment program related to bitcoin as follows;
- Does site pay high daily return ? if yes site will be surely scam in few days
- Does site have any real income source to give you return from investment ? If no -- scam
- Does site have complete company profile running it ? If no (don't include UK based paid companies as real company) -- probably will run away
- Does site pay high referral commision? IF yes --- scam

These are actually the things someone should check before investing somewhere as almost every scam site would probably have one of these qualities, though most of them build their trust among the users first to get higher amounts in scam but they would probably be spotted by the ones who notices these things.
1237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: October 25, 2016, 04:27:43 PM
1. Because BTC can make money.
2. The price of bitcoin is much more stable.
3. I could be anonymous transaction.

BTC.BTC.BTC

I actually don't care for anonymity factor right now as i don't have any enemies nor i earn that much that can make it a threat for me to reveal my information, but i use bitcoins because i can earn them while i'm not earning fiat as i cant work always because of my studies but in bitcoin i just work when i'm free and my free time gives me money.

Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Just don't mind them cause most of them are just trollers or some newbies. What you have to do when bitcoins price gets lower is to buy bitcoin, of course just moderately, Your spare money will be enough. As long as there are people who mine/use/supports bitcoin it will not disappear. It will be best to get used of bitcoins fluctuation .

Exactly, the ones who say bitcoin is dead or it will die soon are most probably those who are new and does not know anything about it, or the ones who knows everything but they want others to stop using it because they hate it.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: October 25, 2016, 04:15:02 PM
it cant just be a scam after 7 years. only way bitcoin will disappear is if people stop using it. and thats not going to happen instantly. we would see the price drive all the way down to 0 before it dies. plenty of time to cash out.

It really does not give any sense that the people of bitcoin which are millions will suddenly stop using bitcoin or being involved with  bitcoin and if that does not happen it is not possible for bitcoin to disappear just like that.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best way to invest/grow your Bitcoins? on: October 25, 2016, 04:04:34 PM
Investing in altcoin trading is a good way to grow your bitcoins. If you have plenty you can even control a price of an altcoin depending on what you want but there's a risk involving in it and it needs some knowledge. At least it is better than investing in HYIP's and scams and it is better than gambling where you can lose all easily. It also gives good return.

Trading is exactly better than hyips and gambling, well hyips are actually not counted in the category as they are not investment things but they are scams all the time, but it is better than gambling as it earns you great returns if you have some good knowledge experience and a good capital.
