841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 17, 2017, 03:39:14 PM
Bitcoin could die if there is no one left who uses it. Until at least one person uses it, Bitcoin can't die. So obviously Bitcoin never die  Wink

Of course that is not true. Bitcoin would probably die if there will be just a few users, like 10 to 100, if they are not having the complete sum of bitcoin and making it circulate between each other. And even if they keep circulating it it wont have the same value. Where will they spend bitcoin if they are the only users of it? Complete world is not using bitcoin and just a few of them are doing, and bitcoin would start dying from price day by day as there will be no demand and supply at all.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: February 17, 2017, 03:33:59 PM
I know its effective once it be follow, true that greediness is the main top it why they can't stop doing it. It is very simple if you are winning in the games that's the right time to stop. Then do it again in the following days or if loosing in the games you must still stop too. So simple,

There are a lot of things which are simple for playing, but not for doing. So it might look simple to stop gambling when you are winning but a person cannot do it when they are actually winning because that is our nature, we are made like that. When we lose, we bet higher to recover our loss of last time, and when we win, we keep betting to win even more. That is the reason why houses are always in profit.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you cashed-out bonuses from casinos? on: February 17, 2017, 03:10:27 PM
I actually never won any bonus on any casino. I mostly play dice games and there mostly jackpots are available but i even couldn't win the smallest part of those jackpots in my life. All i could do in casinos is pass the time or lose money Grin i'm really good at these two. Anyway, it is fun gambling, no matter you win or lose.
844  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When do I need to change my bitcoin addressand why? on: February 17, 2017, 02:53:46 PM
I've been told by some articles that I should change my bitcoin address regularly, and some even suggest that I should change it after every purchase.  Can I have your advice on how to keep my addresses safe? Also, can anyone explain to me why I need to keep changing the address, since they can't send bitcoin without access to my wallet?

It is only done for privacy purposes so that a person should not know what have been with that wallet until now so you should change it for every new transaction. But now a days almost every wallet (web wallets mostly) automatically change your wallet address once a transaction is done so you don't need to worry about this if you are using a web wallet like Xapo.
845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Action-gamble.com - Multiplayer rock paper scissors on: February 17, 2017, 02:27:44 PM
Good to see some reply from the admin. And we are of course hoping to get more users everyday because it is not fun to be online if there is no one else to compete with. I always go online but i cannot find anyone to play with and then i go offline again because of that. So yeah, you should do something to promote this game and i'm sure the site is going to get some great response from users if they come to know about it.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Maximum loss roll on a 2.4x strategy on Bitsler or any Gamedice ? on: February 17, 2017, 02:21:28 PM
2.4x multiplier is good for the ones who have quite big bankroll in their account so that they can recover their losses after if they lose a few bets, otherwise a person with a small capital is probably going to lose it all in just one or two bets. In my case, i even lost when i set my multiplier at 1.01 and i lost all my capital after a few bets.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: February 16, 2017, 04:16:54 PM
Hi guys!
Gambling is nearly as old as the humanity itself. What was your way to start gambling?
How did it go? How long have you been gambling? Have you ever stopped for a while? Do you see any future in gambling?
Let others know and share your stories! Wink

I have been gambling from quite a long time now, though i have not wagered a lot of money into it but of course i have been playing and lost some money as well in it. It was in a PTC site where i first started gambling for getting points in that site which later could be convert to dollars. There we could play games for winning points, the games were just the same gambling games like we have in casino sites, but only difference was there we played for points. And after that, i started gambling whenever i got a chance until today.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to bitcoin on: February 16, 2017, 04:14:20 PM
It all depends on the community of a coin if where it will reach or how it will rule the market. It is the users that decides the faith of a coin on internet and i don't think that the community would leave bitcoin and embrace a coin that would be under the control of a government while they already have something that is totally independent.
849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Action-gamble.com - Multiplayer rock paper scissors on: February 16, 2017, 03:49:08 PM
Hi OP!
I really love the game you have created, but the problem is whenever i go there i can hardly find one or two users there and sometimes none. So i just wanted to suggest that why don't you run some kind of a promotion or giveaway which should attract some users towards the site because i feel the site has got great potential but only if it gets active users every hour.
Cheers.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 16, 2017, 03:46:22 PM
Bitcoin, at the first place can get you done anything you want with it but it does not mean people should do every illegal things with it. Of course it can be more anonymous for bribing someone if it is done with bitcoins and no one can know if what is going on at all, but at the end, it is bribing and it is really not a good thing at all.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 16, 2017, 03:41:56 PM
May i know a sports betting site where i can bet on cricket matches? Is there any good and popular site which has this feature?
I don't really like sports betting but i would surely love to try it once on a cricket match as i mostly watch and like cricket games, so just saw this post and curious to know more about this.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still use Bitcoin if price would be stable for years? on: February 16, 2017, 03:39:00 PM
I think most users are involved in Bitcoin not because they belief in the technology, but because they hope the price will go thru the roof. So let us say the price would be at $900 for the next 50 years.
Would you still use and buy Bitcoin or would you leave?

EDIT: Poll added!

Of course i will, as long as i can earn them. I have never bought any bitcoins with my own money but i have been earning them from start till now, and for me no matter if the price stays stable, it is not that i don't like it when it goes up but as i'm not buying bitcoins so it wont be a problem for me if it does not go up, but i should just have a way to earn them.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 16, 2017, 03:34:13 PM
Was reading one of the article and cam across that only some percentage of individuals become rich and other who become rich is the casino itself. Not sure how much fact it could be.

That is surely a fact. For a casino getting rich is not a really new thing as any casino getting just a few regular users can earn some good profit out of them because gambling is all about luck, so if one out of 10 gets lucky then the other 9 are surely going to lose something and from there the house gets its profit. But yeah, there are a few people who really get rich out of gambling.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 15, 2017, 06:18:58 PM
Money is better to invest, and it should be done in a real business. I trust what I can feel or see on the Internet it can be temporarily or threatened.

It is also good to invest in a business in internet, but a person should always make sure that the company or the website he is going to invest in is legit and have never scammed a user and has been around from quite a long time now. For sure if someone gives away their money to anyone they come across then that will surely cost him. But as you said, it is always better if you can do an investment in real world where you can see the things happening in front of your eyes.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: February 15, 2017, 06:09:40 PM
Trading can probably be considered a gamble. Because you never know the outcome, it all depends on your estimation if how much you know the movements of the market. That is why people say that trading experts can earn good profit in trading, it is because they know the flow of the markets, otherwise they would also lose money us because we just put our money on a coin hoping for it to rise but we don't know what will be the outcome.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: February 15, 2017, 05:18:40 PM
Gambling addiction can occur when a person feels that they are in financial ruin and can only solve their problems by gambling what little they have in an attempt to get a large sum of money. Unfortunately, this almost always leads to a cycle in which the gambler feels they must win back their losses, and the cycle goes on until the person is forced to seek rehabilitation to break their habit.

But i feel that gambling addiction occurs when a person just for having some fun starts gambling and if they win some amount in that try they will try it again. And next time if they lose they start trying to recover what is gone which leads them to gamble more, and as a result, they end up getting in the addiction and they don't know how to stop after that.

858  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 15, 2017, 05:12:19 PM
A faucet can always be profitable for a owner if he knows how to run it. All you need are visitors to your faucet and it should probably attract them so that they should come back again. And as told earlier by someone, set a threshold of quite high amount so that they come again every time to reach the threshold before getting their bits so that they don't run away after coming 2, 3 times.
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: February 15, 2017, 05:06:06 PM
In my experience, i still gamble because i want to get back what i lost and i always think that if i play again i might become lucky this time.
Look at this. My point is valid right here, people wants to get back their money that have been lost and maybe they're lucky to recover this.
But, for long term that is a bad way to play actually. That's a human nature so we can't blame them.  Wink

You know, the fact is, that mostly the people lose a lot of money in gambling are the ones who try recovering their losses because they think they might become lucky this time but they again lose all after winning some, so this process continues. They cannot stop because as you said it is in their nature that they cannot stop themselves.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: February 15, 2017, 05:01:49 PM
bitcoin might not die. for anyone to use bitcoin will not die, even that will be developed. besides, bitcoin has also been used throughout the world, and in fact, very many positive comments, not of society, but from large investors as well.

The life of bitcoin is in the hands on its community. As long as the community is supporting and using it, it will live for sure, as the community stops believing in it which does not seem to be happening so soon, then maybe it will drop down a bit from where it is right now. But most probably, it is going to stay as the community is increasing instead of decreasing.
