There are around two hours left for the Valencia - Athletic Bilbao rematch in the Copa del Rey. As you can remember easily, the first leg of the draw ended in a draw by 1-1. And Valencia might seem one step ahead as they are going to play a home game. But neither bookmakers nor I'm thinking that Valencia are the closest team to advance to the final round. Athletic Bilbao are still the favourite team to do so for me. And they can do this in 90 minutes too but they will need to play very effective.

The most interesting game tonight is Lakers - Mavericks to me. Obviously, Mavericks are the closest team to win this game and bookmakers also are thinking the same. Mavericks are far better than them in terms of team play. And I really admire Doncic's performance this season too. I expect him to play a big role in this game also and they should be the winner at the end.

We have a huge Coppa Italia game today: Milan - Inter. These two teams are facing each other again after they played against each other in the Serie A some weeks ago. In that game, Milan defeated Inter by turning the game around spectacularly thanks to Giroud's goals. And here in the semi-final round of the tournament, Inter might want to take their revenge by eliminating Milan. And there is a strong feeling in me like they will be successful about it too. But this is only the first leg of the draw of course. Inter are seen as the favourite team by bookmakers by a 1.95 odd now.

Manchester United hayal kırıklığı yaratan bir sonuç alarak evinde Watford ile 0-0 berabere kaldı. Aslında sağlam oynadıkları bir maçtı ama bitiricilik konusunda çok beceriksizlerdi. Bu da maçın kilitlenmesine sebep oldu. Bruno Fernandes'in bencilliği yüzünden kaçan çok net bir gol de vardı aslında. Ronaldo ile uyum konusunda yer yer sıkıntılar yaşıyor. Umarım ileride daha iyi bir noktaya gelirler. Ama eğer Manchester United Şampiyonlar Ligi'ne katılamazsa Ronaldo takımdan ayrılabilir de.

Gladbach - Wolfsburg might seem like an unimportant game but it is not to me. Because this can be a very competitive game above all else and it is important for both of them in terms of getting away from the relegation zone. Gladbach might be favoured by bookmakers but Wolfsburg are not much different than them. And actually they are even one place upper than them. My first pick is both teams to score for this game. And it might end in a draw also by 1-1 or 2-2.
It feels good that one of my score predictions came true at the end of this game. But it is sad for me at the same time as I didn't bet on it.  Gladbach performed really good and deserved to win actually. I'm saying this despite their being 0-2 behind in the first half. Gladbach were nearly making a comeback to 3-2 but the goal was disallowed. Wolfsburg had a really lucky game I believe. Gladbach seemed to be promising by this performance at least. Maybe they can continue to climb later. |

We have left the first testing week of the new season behind. I watched a recap for these three days. And it is a big joy to watch Ferrari's car now. Its new design is fascinating to me. And its design is not the only thing that attracts my attention now. Its performance also seems to have improved a lot. Leclerc was the fastest driver on day 2. On day 3, Lewis Hamilton captured the fastest lap of the whole week though. But Ferrari's car is still seeming to be very promising. If they solve the remaining small problems before the season starts officially, Leclerc and Sainz both can have a great season.

Real Madrid are having an away game against Vallecano this time. This seems to be a comfortable game for Real Madrid but they should still play carefully here. Vallecano may be seen as a vulnerable team in the recent weeks but this kind of teams are always unpredictable. Şu an 38900 dolar civarından işlem görmeye devam ediyor. Benim 30 bin dolar altına bile inme beklentim yok açıkçası. Eğer 40 bin dolar üstüne kendine yeniden atıp orada bir süre tutunabilirse belki devamı da gelebilir. Ama yine de uzun bir süre daha rekor seviyeler görmek için bekleyeceğiz gibi bence.

Uncharted'a gelince de, oyun serisi en çok ilgi çeken yapımlardan birisiydi. Konsolda çok sağlam satış rakamlarına ulaştılar. Filmini duyunca hikayeyi yakından bilen oyuncular çok sevindi de. Ama filmi ne yazık ki beklentilerin altında kaldı. Devam filminin de geleceği kesin gibi gözüküyor ama bu kafa yapısından çıkılarak sağlam bir yapım ortaya konulmalı bence.

Actually, I was completely surprised after seeing that Milan and Inter both drew with their opponents. I thought that at least one of them would win their game totally. But they both struggled too much. I mean especially Milan struggled a lot as their statistics weren't that promising. They couldn't take full control of the game and Udinese made use of the chance. But Inter played very good. They dominated the whole game but somehow they still couldn't score. This must be really frustrating for them.

I think that the toughest draw is Leicester - Rennes. I believe that both of these teams are strong enough to eliminate each other in this tournament. I still see Leicester as one step forward but it is still early to make big assumptions too. Rennes are a very unpredictable club and they can surprise everyone at any time during this matchup. Leicester will need to play extra good at attacking especially to end this draw as the winner. And actually, they have more attacking players that are very capable of scoring.

Hoffenheim are hosting Stuttgart today. And this is a comfortable game for Hoffenheim side. They are competing for the fourth position and their performance lately has been impressive too. And in this competition, they need to continue to win comfortable games like this one. Stuttgart are one of the miserable teams of the league now. I see that there is no way out for them here. Hoffenheim are very solid in offense now and they should be keeping this up by this game too.

Southampton are having a really good time in the league these days. And they should be able to defeat Norwich too here. Southampton's last results were really good. They defeated Tottenham and Everton. And they drew with Manchester United and Manchester City. This can be the best scenario they could have had in a very tough fixture like this I guess. And they should continue to do a good job by defeating Norwich too. Norwich are still at the last position and they are helpless about it.

And they did their thing as always by trying to keep their 1-0 advantage until the end. Because it was going to be enough for Juventus for the second leg. But Villarreal finally scored the equalizer however couldn't get ahead. And now, Juventus are still holding an advantage. The away goal rule doesn't apply any longer. Therefore, no one has an advantage for the second leg. If the match ends with another draw, no matter how many goals are scored, it's heading into overtime.
Juventus defended very well for most parts of the game. They conceded a goal after they believed that Vlahovic was fouled while losing possession and instead of continuing to play, they froze and expected to hear the referees whistle. The goal that followed was amateurishly conceded. The Mckennie injury was bad because he is the only player with guts and quality in the current midfield. Except the goal, Juve was pretty clueless in that attacking half. I remember one attempt by Morata whose shot went over the goal and one by Locatelli with the same result. In the 2nd half, Vlahovic had one more shot that was saved. Other than that, they relied on defending and being pushed back towards their penalty box. Yes, I know that there is no away goal rule anymore. I actually meant that Juventus are playing much better in their home games so it could be seen as an advantageous score for them still. I believe that the second leg won't end up with a draw but it might still be a competitive one like the first game. But I have an expectation from Juventus like they would defeat Villarreal by one-goal difference. They are much stronger in attacking thanks to the Vlahovic transfer and they should be able to play more effective in Turin. |
