It was another good day for Arsenal today. They played a really tough away game against West Ham but they still managed to win this by 2-1. West Ham are one of the tough teams of this season in the end so I was expecting Arsenal to stumble in this game. But they made it to another victory in another difficult game and increased their winning streak to three games. And as Everton managed to defeat Chelsea, Arsenal have dropped the gap with Chelsea to three points. They might even take the third place from Chelsea if it goes on like this.

Ancelotti is a really amazing manager and his contribution to this championship was enormous indeed. Compared to last season, we have had a far more different Real Madrid in this one. But I think the biggest role in this championship belongs to Benzema. He has been like a goal machine until this point and he scored one goal today also. So far in the league, he has scored 26 goals and made 11 assists. This is just incredible!

I was also mesmerized by the performances of Manchester City and Real Madrid both in the first leg. They both were very good at scoring in that game even though the defenses were not that great. Real Madrid were much worse defensively for sure. But they still managed to close that gap significantly by finding three goals. Benzema and Vinicius were there to help their team by 2 goals and 1 goal respectively. And they didn't get a very disadvantageous score like 4-3. The second leg might be interesting too.

If Manchester United play in the Europa League or Europa Conference League, then it will be a big failure for them. And I don't think that Cristiano Ronaldo would decide to stay here for one more season. Actually their permanent manager is determined already: Erik ten Hag. So maybe he might somehow convince him to stay by promising a good success for next season. As he has been a successful manager with Ajax so far, maybe Ronaldo would give another chance to the team.

I don't think that Bologna deserved this win at all. Even if you check the statistics of the game, you can understand what I'm talking about. Inter were highly dominant most of the time and they found so many opportunities to score also. But they had just an unlucky day, that was it. Bologna were incredibly lucky about their winning goal and there was a 2-1 win for them at the end. Even they weren't seeing it coming I believe. I expect Inter to come back stronger by their next game.

It feels good for me to see that Barcelona are interested in signing Robert Lewandowski in this summer. If this transfer happens, then the team will reach a much higher level in terms of attacking. The opening game of this week in the league is going to be Newcastle - Liverpool. For this game, I think that Liverpool might have a hard time beating Newcastle away. Because Newcastle's recent form has been really good. And they have been winning six times in a row in their home games too. This momentum can help them a lot about resisting Liverpool until some point. We might see a draw at the end of the first half for example. But I believe Liverpool would still manage to make it to the victory.

I can't say that Villarreal deserve to win this game. This is a great opportunity for them to take the lead. If they fail on this task, then Milan are going to enter the final weeks as the leader.
