 FIXED!!!!!

So let me see if I have this straight. We're paying you to HELP YOU and your friends, and for the dubious distinction of being one of the first "100,000" to see a video that everybody's going to be seeing soon anyway, for free? So, we'd have what..bragging rights? "Pssssshhh brah, I seen that vid like..WEEKS before y'all did, cuz I be just dat cool."?

You MUST be high. Or 12. Or both. a pedobear

When you guess:
Please, I would appreciate any reasoning or let me know if it is a complete guess.  Although, I will not require this in the first experiment to reduce the amount of fake reasoning/guesses given.

Goal:  I hope to run multiple experiments to see if any user(s) can consistently call the peak with some accuracy.  Let me know if I should change any rules for future experiments to better achieve this goal.

DONT YOU ALL KNOW Violin string is made out of sheep intestines? LOL so why not get this?

Hello

My wife and I run a rabbitry and we are wondering if there is any interest from anyone here in buying either raw wool or spun yarn made from our French Angora rabbits!

Many people are under the misconception that the rabbit is harmed in some way to harvest the fur, but they are infact simply combed and the results are bagged and kept for later use. Angora wool is the warmest natural fiber on earth.

I would write a more descriptive post, but I am trying to gauge interest first.

Thanks for looking.

Cat gut or GFTO.....

How much would you want for what?

370  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Ati or Nvidia gaming card on: March 01, 2013, 04:41:37 AM
Looking to buy something to replace my current outdated and under powered 5670. Can be either ATI or Nvidia like a 6870 or 560ti, let me know what you have and the price your looking to get.
i've got an 8800gtx?  is that better than a 5670?  it should be 1 tier higher, but http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/video_lookup.php?gpu=GeForce+8800+GTX  says it's slower

http://www.hwcompare.com/164/geforce-8800-gtx-vs-radeon-hd-5670/

that says otherwise

plus I paid $700 for it, like 6 years ago

(personally, i'd say to grab a cheap 5870 off the forum here)

Thanks, but I'm looking for something more powerful

371  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Cheap graphics card on: March 01, 2013, 04:39:46 AM
I have a Radeon 5550 that was used for one week.  It was never overclocked and never mined with.  It's in like-new condition.

How much you want? and what MFG?

It's made by XFX.  I'll do 1 BTC + shipping.

The history behind the card is that it was received as part of a Tiger Direct computer bundle.  I used it for a week, played a little Crysis 2 with it, then upgraded after a week to a 6970 to do some more serious mining at the time.  The 5550 was placed back in its box and has been sitting around untouched ever since.

Its not a Small form factor ready ones is it?

Got references as to your trust rating? or do you want to escrow? if you don't mind I can email you a prepaid UPS for shipping?

I'm building a computer and don't have much money for a graphics card. I know there's going to be a lot coming on the market now that the ASICs are coming. I'm looking for something fairly good for gaming, hdmi output, i really don't know much about graphics cards. Also I'm US based so it would be best to have someone to deal with in-country. I am also buying a tuner card to record television, you need to make sure its compatible with the Ceton InfinitiTV 4 PCIe. I also want an amd card.

I have some 4550s for .5btc

378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Scam: Centralized, Centrally Issued, Bribes exchanges, Closed Source on: March 01, 2013, 03:47:47 AM
good thing i sold
Great thing you sold them, because Ripple Devs just fairly "giveaway" 50 billion ripples to themselves to buy a mansion and devaluing / inflating XRP. Oh, and develop "open source" software.

agreed... its a HUGE scam
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Giveaway! on: March 01, 2013, 03:45:22 AM
Hello Bitcoin Forum,

We are the company behind the new Ripple open payment system. We are pleased to announce the first official XRP giveaway. To thank the Bitcoin community for their support and to encourage people to experiment with Ripple and provide feedback, we are targeting this giveaway to users of the Bitcoin Forum.

Anyone whose Bitcoin Forum account was created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, is eligible to receive XRP.

You may claim your XRP simply by posting your Ripple address in this thread. Please note that your replies will be processed by a script, so make sure that your post contains only your Ripple address.

We are currently giving 40k XRP to anyone who claims. This amount will decrease over the course of the giveaway. We are giving to a limited number of people a day so it might be awhile after your post before you receive your XRP.

By requesting XRP, you acknowledge and agree that the transfer thereof is entirely automatic and does not constitute a contract, warranty, or agreement of any kind between you and OpenCoin Inc. Please remember Ripple is still in early beta so expect bugs.

Enjoy!
OpenCoin Inc.

(paused till monday)

Post formatting

Create a ripple account here https://ripple.com/client A Ripple address looks similar to a bitcoin address but begins with an "r".  For example, our Ripple address is:

r3kmLJN5D28dHuH8vZNUZpMC43pEHpaocV

Your post should not contain any text besides the address and should have no special formatting. Posts which don't match this format will be skipped, and you'll have to post your address again to get XRP.

Rules

Your Bitcoin Forum account must have been created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, in order to be eligible. Only one Ripple address per user, please. (All but the first valid address you post will be ignored).

We will periodically post updates to the post below to indicate when XRP have been given. We will be limiting the amount of people we give to per day, and this amount may be adjusted, so please be patient as it may take some time for the script to get to your post.

If you have any questions or concerns about this giveaway, or about Ripple in general, please don't hesitate to ask us either on this forum or ours.
