I find that hard to belive, when this is actualy nessecary. I really don`t see the point of having the alt-coin section in this mess of threads.
We can always hope- Smiley

The only hope you should be hoping for is the hope that you can hopefully find among all this hopeless jumble of hopeless threads is the info that you have been hopelessly hoping for.

Well, the moderators can choose themself, keep on moving every hardwaretread there is, or make a subforum. It`s not that hard to do.

Was the moderators who dismissed it  Cheesy

Obvious.  Tongue

But they have to understand it will make their job easier also.

Ok, go ahead see how far you get, will soon become obvious  Tongue that this thread is dead.  Tongue Tongue Tongue

Is it okay to put all the wallet data to CD? No issues with that in the future? As far as i understand, are there no private keys involved with desktop wallets?

Go to your 'user'/appdata/roaming folder and go into each of your coins folders, inside each is a wallet.dat file. This is all you need to backup for each coin. The file has all the info of how many coins you have on it.

Once you have them backed up you can delete and remove everything else.

Whenever you want to spend your coins you can download a new wallet, and replace the new wallet.dat with your backup copy in the appdata/roaming/whatevercoin folder, but renaming it back to wallet.dat.

Like I said before, when backing up many files, rename each wallet.dat to 'whatevercoin'.dat so you know which is which.

e.g Bitcoin.dat litecoin.dat namecoin.dat etc

If you want to copy them to a CD it is fine.

They will be back after the Autumn Sale on December 4th, alongside the other Cryptsy alts.

I am really looking forward to implementing a MADEsparq sub domain once I get my head around it, looks really exciting!

Oh, so only a few days, not so bad  Smiley

Yes its a really exciting idea,  I've read the paper a few times now and still haven't got my head around it all either  Cheesy

Anyway, hope business is going well for you

14th place taken  Grin

Next stop topple freicoin Placed 13th target price $4.20- $4.50
Which chart are you reading? It's still 500k behind from Tickets
I guess the places shuffled again.
We are 100k behind tickets.

Update: Nevermind, both coins saw huge growth again while CGB didn't move much.

Let's see where these coins are in a few months from now compared to CGB when the altcoin hype has died down...

I've got projects to roll out in the next few months that many of these 'devs' couldn't even dream of creating.

There will be a sustainable ecosystem around CGB for years to come.

This is why us stalwarts stick with CB!!

Okay....So I'm probably going to be shooting myself in the foot here, but I'm praying to god for a chance this will work.

Here's the deal. Yes, I'm new to the forum. YES, I'm new to mining. Yes! I have no reputation on this site at all, and for all you know I could be some random scammer....All I can do is hope that some of you will have a little bit of faith in the human race.

I'm a 24 year old married man who recently lost his job, and I could really use some help from anyone who can offer anything. My wife and I have been together since I was 18, and we have worked hard for everything we have. Our son was diagnosed with autism, and while not as severe as it could be, there are still many medical bills piled up to deal with. My wife is hard at work and looking at a promotion. We also have a insurance check coming in the next month, but the problem is I need some help to pay my mortgage on time. I'm sending this call out to anyone and everyone who can help. I've posted on my facebook, google+ and called every friend and relative I can for help.

EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!

Once our insurance comes in, I will be more than happy to try and repay as many of you as I can. I know this sounds bad, but guys, I'm literally begging for my families sake.

Feel free to message me if you want details, or if you think you can help in anyway at all. I hate to sound desperate, but I am.

Thank you for your time

Hi everyone! I am quite new to this stuff. I have decided to store my Bitcoins in multiple paper wallets. However, i am not sure what i am going to do with alts after i have bought them from Cryptsy. Leave them there? I am not confident storing them on my pirated online computer.

Send all your coins to a wallet on your PC.

Copy all wallet.dat files to flash drive, but rename them so you know which is which.

Put your flash drive somewhere safe.

Remove wallets from PC.

Download wallets for your coins in the future when you need to and use your backed up wallet.dat files.

Hi guys, i was a little hill, but i've completed the version of CAT (Analyzer + Some Improvements).
Now it's 3:40 in Italy, so i go to sleep, but in the next hours i will send your CAT Copy  Grin

Thanks Sampey!

I keep getting a 0.11000 Pong order which I mentioned before, either in a PM or in a post on here earlier. For some reason when CAT waits too long when there is less % gain than set, CAT eventually puts in an order for 0.110000 and carries on from there, pinging and ponging the 0.110000 instead of the original amount set.

I've recently had some promotional USB Flashdrives printed for digitalcoin DGC See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324420.0

where you currently have a day or so left to try and win one - before the existing stock goes on sale directly.

Anyway, I've discussed having a batch printed for CGB. Here is the metalic base USB that I've selected for a test print run:

Again, these are intended as back-up devices or storage for your wallet. They are not mining devices.

It is possible to create a Portable version of the CGB software to run from the USB perhaps including a pre-loaded CGB wallet, which does really require a min. 16 GB capacity.

Although, as a promotional USB device or wallet back-up sizes can range from just 1 GB to 8 GB, which are obviously a lot cheaper to produce.

Would members of the CGB community be interested in purchasing such a USB product ? What is the preferred storage capacity ?

Printed using the standard CGB logo ? or printed in back or white to stand out better ?

I've already approached forum member Finitebydesign to do US distribution, as I'm based in the UK to cover Europe and worldwide.

Cheers!

I would be interested, being in the UK myself.

Also it would be something really remarkable to tell the grandchildren, as I give them an antique flashdrive loaded with priceless CGB, supplied by, non other than the legendary 12,500+ BTC pizza buyer........absolutely priceless! I'm in Cheesy

Edit: Reading on.... I see you were the receiver of around 10k Bitcoins from Laszlo Hanyecz, a programmer, to order a pappa john's pizza in exchange.

Edit 2: You have definitely come to the right place to reimburse yourself with that lost value  Wink
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [CGB] Xmas Gift on: November 24, 2013, 12:06:12 AM
Post the exact amount you expect the CGB/BTC price to be below.

The nearest guess to the last trade made on Cryptsy.com, at the time of 01.00GMT on the 25th of December 2013, will receive 100 CGB. Which will be paid out on Christmas day.

The next 5 closest will receive 10 CGB each.

All guesses posted after 01.00GMT on the "20th" of December will not count!!  Grin

You can have as many guesses as you like up until the end time.

Also post your wallet address with your guess, or the prize will be sent to the next nearest with an address posted.

Happy guessing  Cheesy

Edit: I am changing the time of the last trade to 12:00GMT on the 24th of December.
