1363  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 06:57:16 AM
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.
You are right because there are no good or bad strategy investing in bitcoins or other altcoins as long as your strategy can increase your bitcoins, you must apply the rules and getting the profit. Everything depend on the style of investment in bitcoins long time strategy or short time strategy but the most important are not on the strategy but on the constant profit from investing in bitcoins, that is it.

1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA on: August 27, 2017, 03:04:18 PM
Marijuana Industry Blockchain Developer Coin Partners with IOTA There exists a multi-billion dollar industry which is largely struggling to establish itself in the United States market.
Untrustworthy businesses, often seen as trying to capitalize on a growing market trend simply to con individuals out of money, make it difficult for the average person to separate the legitimate from the not, stymieing the worthwhile endeavours of entrepreneurs trying to make it in the space. Though this description can be applied directly to the cryptocurrency marketplace, this is actually a description of the current state of the cannabis business.

1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 27, 2017, 02:42:22 PM
what do you think about this topic?

I think altcoins are better for people that are starting out or people with the small budget to invest.
Yup investing into altcoins and ICOs has big chance to get rich in digital coins than investing into bitcoins
because as we know bitcoins price is very expensive for almost all of the people,
the best chance to get rich with digital coins right now are just on altcoins or investing into the ICOs
of course we must choose the ICOs has good fundamental (function of altcoins and comunities of ICOs projects) potential to be more expensive in the future.
1368  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: August 27, 2017, 02:14:11 PM
Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

Please enlighten me.

Well actually the ICOs projects depend on the purpose of all the users and not all of ICOs are shitcoins, if we want makes smart contract ethereum can be choosen and other altcoins that can gives smart contract service, maybe we still don't need technology of blockchain but the world change too fast, the blockchain will be needed on the future and steemit, ethereum even bitcoins are still beta. They need more fixing on the future.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just invested in DIMCOIN ICO on: August 27, 2017, 01:59:03 PM
I think it's good for you, because dimcoin is one big project that is very promising for success, maybe because the idea and team of experienced developers, good luck
The ideas of developer team doesn't mean will guarantee the ICOs projects be succesfull because it is just still an idea and almost all of the ICOs projects have awesome ideas and whitepaper, why you don't give us reasons that more make sense than just an ideas, because this projects still there are no solid comunity of coin, the application on real projects now than just an ideas.
1370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story so far on: August 27, 2017, 01:46:38 PM
in retrospect... i actually thought daytrading would be a little fun. I think thats the main reason i got out! But again, just sharing.
I think in an open market like this daytrading isnt smart at all.

Daytrading is for when the market is  saturated i believe.
Nice share experience of day trading strategy, you are right strategy of day trading doesn't mean will be suitable for all of traders because however we must check our positions of trading on the exchangers if we use day trading and it will takes our time every days to do it, it will not be good for the people who doesn't have much time, so actually there are no best or bad strategy of trading everything depend on the style of trading from all of peoples.

1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fees exploding and BTC will crash down on: August 27, 2017, 09:47:59 AM
I don't think bitcoins fees transaction will be impact to bitcoin's price down because bitcoin's fees sending transaction increased due to the activation of segwit2x was still unstable, it needs more research and fixing from developers and comunity, bitcoin's price down is normal just fluctuating of price, it will be hit $5000 after the lightning network/segwit2x be stable.
1374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does everyone trade? on: August 27, 2017, 05:18:06 AM
To start,

1. Where do you buy your bitcoin from
2. What exchanges do you use
3. When you buy alt coins and profit, do you convert back to btc? Because what if your profit from alt coins and convert it to bitcoins but bitcoins is low, doesn't that defeat your alt coin profit?
4. Do you convert from bitcoin to usd to withdraw? If so where do you withdraw and which method do you use.

Oh and this sounds like fees over fees.
First you buy bitcoins for fee. Then transfer them to a exchange for a fee. Then trading on that exchange is a fee. Then transferring it another place to withdraw, then the actual withdraw fee.
Here i started trading bitcoins and altcoins
1. I bought bitcoins from Indonesian market bitcoins using fiat currency IDR.
2. I used the markets bitcoin.co.id and poloniex to traded bitcoins and altcoins.
3. I get the profit from trading altcoins be held on bitcoins
4. I don't converted from bitcoins to USD to withdrawal but i was converted to IDR to withdrawal.

Well i just paid the fees trading altcoins on poloniex and fees withdrawal of fiat currency because of becomed makers order on bitcoin.co.id i was free of fees trading.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which all are the upcoming ICO's on: August 26, 2017, 06:10:40 PM
Hi experts,

1)which all are the upcoming ICO's.
2)which all re worthy in upcoming icos.
1. Many projects ICOs out there you can check out on the website above me and it has been answered by another users.
2. It is the most difficult part to choose investing into the ICOs projects because it must be done with searching about the real data
Depending on the type of token you will have different value propositions. We distinguish between three general types of tokens:
Type one: usage token; work token; asset-backed token
Type two: native blockchain token vs. app token
Type three: useful token vs. useless token
Different projects are at various development stages at the time of their ICO. Some are only ideas others have working alphas. Depending on the stage of the project you can draw your own conclusions:
Does the project have only a landing page?
Did they write a whitepaper? How relevant is it?
Running prototype?
Blockchains are all about trust and transparency, therefore, security is a big part of a project especially if it has to do with smart contracts. Writing secure smart contracts is a difficult task:
Audits: were there any external audits of the code? If yes by whom?
Is there a testnet where people could play around with the app and test it?
Even though many governments still lack any regulations, this does not mean that the developers have the full freedom to do whatever they want. Their business idea might not even be allowed:
Regulation: how national and international laws could affect the business model?
In order for a company to succeed its product needs to solve a real world problem. Relying only on a good idea won’t cut it:
Value proposition: What problem does it solve?
Demand: Is there any demand for the product short term and long term
Social media buzz: Does the project get discussed in the relevant communities even before launch? What is the general opinion? How do experts in the field valuate the project?
Competition & partners: Any announced partnerships? Any competition?
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scaling issues on: August 26, 2017, 01:34:49 PM
Wtf confirmation times are becoming stupid, over an hour ago I sent a transaction with a 389.341 sat/B fee and it's still unconfirmed. Unfortunately bitcoin isn't ready for prime time.

The other users has same problem with you too, Bitcoin Fees Reach $8 Post Segwit Activation https://t.co/j1D5LJgl4s
It is bad for bitcoins the segwit activation on bitcoins network was doesn't worked,
I still can't believe that the BTC price is near its all-time highs. Maybe market ignores payments, sees BTC good enough for wealth storage or maybe  Bitcoin is an ICO at NYC FinTech.  Grin

1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA on: August 26, 2017, 01:10:39 PM
Paragon and IOTA recently announced a partnership aimed at creating a transparent, verifiable database to help the cannabis industry move towards greater legitimacy. By incorporating IOTA’s unique approach to cryptocurrency and distributed ledger technology, Paragon hopes to deliver a faster technology with lower fees. Paragon will build a fully verifiable database to track prescriptions, and data on batches of cannabis (such as their farm of origin, or THC levels). https://t.co/WniYQHxsNu
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you say about Etherium Classic? on: August 26, 2017, 12:59:47 PM
At least, there is no Vitalik who can interfere and do whatever he wants in ETC.

That is a huge plus for ETC!
You are right Ethereum Classic is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference even vitalik buterin can not interference ethereum classic, that is reasons why ethereum classic ETC is still alive and survive until right now.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 26, 2017, 12:54:17 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?
Bitcoins cash BCH is just another altcoins in my opinions, the value of bitcoins cash BCH will not be same as bitcoins BTC
but doesn't mean bitcoins cash BCH is not good to be traded, bitcoins cash BCH is like ethereum has big capitalization of market
and it has big fluctuating of price, i could made profit from trading bitcoins cash BCH.
