Sweden. Or maybe Norway. Scandinavia seems like a great place. The people are quite forward-thinking, have a good healthcare system and good daycares for children. It gets really dark in winter, though!
Don't forget that it's cold (and that's not just during winters, but also autumn and spring)!
And alcohol is expensive.
And there are a shortage of apartments (in Sweden anyway).
And in Norway everything is extremely expensive.
Oh, and in Sweden, the "famous" healthcare system is now non-functioning and underfunded.
There is a big shortage of daycare centers.
The school system is sold to corporations making loads of profit, everything paid by the tax payers (meaning that they give bad education to students for free, and give the rest of the money to their shareholders).

The "Scandinavian model" is dead. Killed by neo-liberals.
145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beer vs. Water on: October 06, 2014, 01:44:47 PM
Depends on the occasion. At a party, water isn't the usual go-to beverage. But as a refreshment during the day, water is superior to beer in any way. It's cheaper, is healthier, and it doesn't get you drunk during work.
But surely it's way more fun to be drunk at work? Wink
I've been drunk in boring classes a few times, and that really made them more enjoyable! Cheesy

You have to have 240 activities
I realise this. Otherwise how would I know when to say that I am about to become a senior member?
You have two activity periods left before that will happen...

Already explained it : )
Yeah, what I mean is that it's not really "soon"... Tongue

If I could choose, my choice will be Ireland.
I like people there, their character, way of life...
Also, many good possibilities for jobs and business, nature is beautiful, life very comfortable...
Yes, Ireland!
Of course whiskey and beer?

No. Alcohol is way to harmful, so if discovered today, it'd never be legal.
150  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beer vs. Water on: October 06, 2014, 05:26:19 AM

You know what they say; "Two liters of beer a day, keeps the doctor away!" Wink
151  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: PBMining 1 TH/s HALLOWEEN Giveaway! on: October 05, 2014, 08:15:22 PM
I like how most of the participants didn't post their customer id! Grin
Surely that must mean they are automatically disqualified?

Not at all.. the entry # is automatically determined by your name using the conversion table.  We posted the process of how to determine your own entry # for your own record, but you do not have to post it.
That's the entry number, I'm talking about the customer ID.
Because without the customer number, how are you going to add the TH/s to the winners account?

When I read about people doing stuff like this I'm filled with respect and a desire to do the same thing.
However, I know that some people think that people like him are wasting their lives. But is living sustainable, in the moment, really experiencing life, a bad way to live?
I personally think that they live a much happier and free life than most of the 9-5 corporate workers do.
What do you think?

You didn't read the previous post?There's a spot,it just isn't updated..
There is no spot. That person only confirmed an old payment.
Also, that person was a Full Member, and I don't think you as a Sr. Member can take a Full Member spot.

160  Other / Off-topic / Re: With Ebola striking in Texas on: October 04, 2014, 10:41:24 AM
Ebola is spread by monkeys and bats. Don't think it causes a real threat to the western world.

Ebola starts from bats but when it is in humans it spreads extremely easily from human to human.

Wrong. To get infected by Ebola you have to get infected blood/body fluids into your system (wounds, blood, by eating or whatever).
The process is just the same as for example HIV.

As people stated earlier, it will never be able to cause any major epidemics in the western world thanks to a more developed health care, people are educated and aware of how ebola spreads and the people generally trust their governments.

WTF, are you serious?
You are completely wrong.
You compare HIV to ebola?  Shocked

Do you not wondering your theory by why dont every HIV infected human is not isolated?

Ebola is highly contagious disease, 80% dies with ebola after ONLY 16 days.
Ebola is transferable trought saliva, spitting, blood, sperm, urine, feces.
This mean you only must touch for example a desk that is contaminated and than rub your eyes or you suck your finger and you have ebola.
Or when a ebola patient sneeze at you.

Its a little bit different to hiv, because hiv can not be transferable trought saliva, spitting, urine, feces and the people can live a lot of years with hiv.
Nope, you misunderstand. What I meant is that it spreads in the same way. Of course I know ebola is more contagious than HIV, didn't say anything else either.
Also, it's possible to get infected with HIV from for example saliva, it's just not as likely.
