Now the big question is, would you actually donate money for the cause of buying some hectares (assuming there was a reliable organization that had that task)?

Yes. I am planning to do that, when BTC hits 10K. I hope that will happen in 2015, or the latest by 2016. I am planning to organize a group of environment-loving Bitcoiners, and may spend 1 BTC each for buying up the forest. For $10,000, we can acquire 60 to 100 hectares of forest or recently destroyed forest in the Brazilian Amazon. If there are 100 people joining, then we can set up a private wildlife refuge with 6,000 ha. to 10,000 ha. in area. The maintenance can be covered with tourism.

At the current Amazonian deforestation rate of 2,000,000 hectares / year, we need to be quick.
Please contact me then and we'll see if I'm still willing to spend 1btc. Sounds like an awesome idea imo.

i also want travel whole part of India thats why i start earning bitcoins when bitcoin goes to 10k i will sure fulfill my dream of India Smiley
You should try to find the money to visit india anyway. As far as I know it's very cheap to travel and live there. I've never been there myself, but I can imagine it's quite an experience. Someday I will know for sure.

you can also try watching some funny shows like The big bang theory, how I met your mother, south park...
depends what you like Smiley
That is one of my favorite ways of relaxing. A couple of episodes of "Two And A Half Men" and then I'm in a good mood again (the story is quite bad though Cheesy).

Can you post some advice how to start to meditate? I cannot stop thinking Smiley I cannot concentrate as much as needed for meditation.
Google it man..! you will get so many videos , blogs, Ebooks on this topic..! Yoga is too vast... so is sex..!

Well so many video that do not explain nothing Smiley everybody have some other methods to fall into a state to meditate.

To meditate is another of my favorite ways.
My first method is to stop thinking, and concentrate on the non-thinking part, thinking as few thoughts I can (quite hard!). Then when my head is empty, I try to picture whatever I am meditating about (could be some beautiful, peaceful place since we're trying to relax, however, you can meditate about world problems and such things if you want to get some "insight" about them). Then you just follow your thoughts wherever they lead you, and BOOM! Before you know it you're in trance. Sometimes you get back within a minute, and sometimes you're gone for hours. When you get back you will feel so peaceful that almost nothing will be able to destroy that peacefulness for atleast a few hours.
Anyway, you said you cannot stop thinking, so my suggestion is for you to start concentrating on you breathing. Inhale, exhale you know. When you then feel concentrated, concentrate on not to think. A first you might fail, but after a few tries you will be free of thought, even if it might be only for 0.5 seconds at first. Then repeat it until you feel your mind is clear.
It totally helps if you make the place you are meditating in feel peaceful. I myself also prefers if it is dark, and maybe a few burning candles or so. But that you will discover yourself.

Nope. Not into that stuff.

All you missed was Mark's frappuchino and a two man protest.

391  Other / Off-topic / Two week vacation and Gox dies on: March 03, 2014, 12:55:53 PM
Okay, let me get this straight; I left on a two weeks vacation to Thailand bringing no computer or smartphone or anything that's able to connect to internet with me. That virtually meant I had no idea of what was going on in the world (both the bitcoin and the real one). Anyway a few days ago I was lying on my bed at a hotel in Bangkok zapping through TV-channels either showing German or French reports from Ukraine (I didn't really know what they said since I don't speak german and my french, yeah, c'est ne pas tres bien), or a really weird thai comedy show (I think it was comedy anyway). Suddenly I got to CNN, boring, so I changed to the next channel when I realized what the CNN headline said: Mt.Gox has died (or something like that, might have been something about bankruptcy too). I suddenly felt the adrenaline rush through my veins and I realized I had to visit bitcointalk when I realized I had no gadgets that could connect to the internet.
So, really? I've been waiting for Gox to die since august, and they had to do so when I was away?! I missed all the drama and speculations on what was going on!! Cry
Therefore, I would like to kindly request from everyone reading this that if you ever decide to run a really big bitcoin exchange and also decides to declare it bankrupt; Please make sure I am home then.
Thanks in advance.

Yup, as bitcoininformation said, plug in your hard drive elsewhere and do a backup. Try an external hard drive case and plug in on another computer through USB.

The CIA has three candidates, two men and a woman, for one assassin position.

On the final day of testing, the CIA proctor leads the first male candidate to a large steel door and hands him a gun. "We must know that you will follow our instructions, regardless of the circumstances," he explains. "Inside this room, you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Take this gun and kill her."

The man is horrified, "You can't be serious! I could never shoot my wife!"

"Well," says the proctor, "you're definitely not the right man for this job then."

The CIA proctor leads the second male candidate to another large steel door and hands him a gun. "We must know that you will follow instructions, no matter what the circumstances," the proctor explains. "Inside this room, you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Take this gun and kill her."

The second man steadies himself, takes the gun and enters the room. After three quiet minutes, the man exits the room with tears in his eyes. "I wanted to do it -- I just couldn't pull the trigger and shoot my wife. I guess I'm not the right man for the job."

Finally, the CIA proctor leads the female candidate to yet another large steel door and hands her a gun. "We must be sure that you will follow instructions, no matter what the circumstances. Inside this room, you will find your husband sitting in a chair. Take this gun and kill him."

The woman takes the gun, enters the room, and before the door even closes completely behind her, she's fired off six shots. Then all hell breaks loose behind the door -- cursing, screaming, crashing. Suddenly, all goes quiet.

The door opens slowly, the woman exits, and wiping the sweat from her brow, she says, "Did you guys know the gun was loaded with blanks? I had to beat the son of a bitch to death with the chair!"

You won't get paid to keep it, as the campaign is over. So yes.
