1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: June 28, 2019, 12:03:16 AM
I’ve been mining, buying, and supporting  $UBQ for a year and a half now. Since joining their discord in April of 2018 I’ve literally learned most all I know from their devs, moderators, and overall community. When I came to the space I fell upon Ubiq for its integrity and honest project. I wanted to invest and be a part of a team that was legit, no-prime, no-ICO, and that had a real use case (enterprise / business stable alternative to Ethereum).

All that are in this space know finding a legit team that is going around through the future is massively important.  Standing through all the regulation that is coming in the short / long term is critical and Ubiq is set up for this. While many seek to find overnight “get rich” schemes, I know that this project will stand the test of time as they have stood through the test of the bear market. All through the big bear the dev team has been working. They’ve continued with all their ESCH governance token airdrops and have continued to innovate as they explore the possibilities of staking their ESCH governance token to run within the Cosmos Hub.

I know there can be a lot of critics in crypto - but I’m simply a normal business guy who was alien to crypto until a year and a half ago. I could not be more happy to be apart of the Ubiq community; learning from them all.

Excited for the future of what this team and project is capable of...

LOOK BACK THROUGHOUT THIS THREAD NOT ONE DEVELOPER WILL STEP FORWARD AND ADDRESS MY LOST COINS!!!

1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: June 27, 2019, 05:48:42 PM
What we need to do with Poloniex, is identify if their slow dep/withdrawals are from some technical issue in the Clams wallet.  Perhaps there is a problem when the wallet has many thousands of accounts, or fractional amounts.  If we can identify what problem they are having, if any, developers can fix it in the software.   Or if they are operator errors, let's give them workarounds, best practice instructions to coalesce their wallets, optimize the efficiency.  Is there an FAQ, tech support document somewhere?

I imagine Just-Dice, FreeBitcoins, various gaming sites, have wallets on a scale approaching Poloniex.  And you guys might well be way ahead of them technically and operationally, and can reach out to help.  They just need your support, and should be considered ally of the community, not adversary.  I think Poloniex have done all cryptocoin investors a great service in early identifying Clams as a strong offering in the cryptocoin market, and long-term supporting it.

Clams is an excellent coin -- technically, features, fair distribution and grassroots community -- and all you hard-working devs, site operators and miners have well-placed dedication.  I hope we should see continued organic growth, and it's easily worth the recent price highs, and beyond.

We have tried for over 6 months to help Poloniex for free.

Dooglus and Xploited have given them the "fix" or what they thought was the fix.  Poloniex people are either too lazy and/or too stupid to implement the stuff.

Really, I've never seen anything so disgusting as the employee that Poloniex sent... I thought he had an ugly attitude and accomplished absolutely fucking nothing.

I truly think it is best for CLAM to get away from Poloniex and for us to start blazing our own trail.

This is the attitude that resulted in 1,800 BTC lost that they gave to their customers rather than owning themself and countless customers being restricted from accessing their money.  It's disgusting & frustrating.

just list here you will be fine n00b Wink r.i.p. polo haha ===>

If someone can take time and check how much top altcoins lost against Bitcoin in last 3 months when BTC was $4k or last 2 weeks when bitcoin was $8k . I am sure Monero is holding best or is at least at the ones that lost least.  Maybe I will go make this list, but since know what will be results it would be so boring.

why polo delist bytecoin ? i mean it's not like it was the code they used to fork monero or anything Wink lel

I refreshed coinmarketcap and see Bitcoin way above $13k....what the heck!!!!!

Seems cool, but it will be below $10k again, and eventually below $1k again. We probably won't ever see the price above $15k, and almost certainly it will never create new ATHs. There are too many confirmed problems with bitcoin as I have verified over the years. China, Russia, and now Facebook, make it a near certainty. Shorting is wise, but not with too much leverage because bitcoin is unstable enough that random and irrational movements can wipe you out, but the downtrend to zero is definitely still on track if you just look at the data.

Came into this thread to read about the reasons for the decline of XMR, but here are the last two pages are so much flooding that I absolutely did not understand the reasons why so Monero collapsed in a time when everyone was waiting for him lift. Can anyone make any suggestions about this?

censorship via insiders causing lack of confidence.  Roll Eyes   this is a centralized shitcoin.

I'm glad someone else speaks trollbot, I just read that as, "Price, why U no go higher!??!" not as some treatise on censorship--because everyone knows speculation forum talk controls the pricing...

On a serious note, you have a weird idea of centralization.

asics bad ... botnet drones good! Wink lel

1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: June 26, 2019, 03:02:32 PM
Clarifications

Bitcoin Cash & Bitcoin SV both offer real scaling potential , as true scaling can only occur ONCHAIN.

Bitcoin Segwit using LN is not scaling, it is Offloading.
As BTC segwit offloads transactions to the LN network because the btc onchain network is inferior due to it's transaction capacity being purposefully limited by it's core devs.

bch dev forced changes into the base layer which caused a split.  These changes work incrementally to remove the miner competition from the BitCoin experiment.  In other words bch devs do not want BitCoin they want to destroy BitCoin but lock up the name "BitCoin" and associate it with crime etc.

bullshit! Craig and Calvin forked off their BSV shitcoin to dump on n00bies  Grin  you new here?

sorry no.  the changes BCH planned to add to the base layer seek to remove the parts that make BitCoin unique since day 1.  thinks like pre-con (avalanche); ctor; and graphene all work together to make BitCoin a steeming pile of crap and removes miner competition like core wanted all along.

agreed BTI is our only hope ===>
