It does not really matter. The important thing is, BTC is called "investment" and treated as a monetary value everywhere in the text of the complaint. This settles the ridiculous argument that stealing BTC is somehow not as dangerous as stealing "real money". Such nonsense is periodically resurfacing on these forums. Maybe now, the next Trendon Shavers will think twice before running similar scam and hoping he will get away with it. EXACTLY. And having grown tired of the unchallenged negative spin on Bitcoin-related news, like the inevitable, biased-drabble which will attempt to confuse and directly associate the word ponzi and Bitcoin from this piece, I've decided to take matters into my own hands. |
