Please do not remove the Notify feature. If you want a clean interface, how about a drop down menu with multiple options: Cancel, Notify, Etc.?

I use the Notify feature all the time and it works perfectly for me.  It's great to know when a Limit order hits, or when I receive the swap I want.

Also, when I want to trade with funds that are being provided in swap, it is nice to know when the money becomes available to trade with.

I doubt I am the only one that thinks the Notify feature is highly useful, and unique.

I know I don't "get a vote", but anyone else, please comment if you use/like the (awesome) Notify feature.

Thanks.

Removal of Notify Option:
The “notify” feature available when placing orders or liquidity offers is being removed as it is almost never used and doesn’t actually work very well in certain circumstances. We are, in general, always looking to simplify our interface and prune features that no one uses or may no longer be relevant, paving the way for us to add new features to a clean and uncluttered interface.

You can find this directly on the Havelock AM1 Page.... here it is below...

Exporting Shares
Shares can be exported from AM1 into Direct ASICMINER shares by anyone, with the following limitations:
- One transfer OUT of AM1 will be processed free once per 30 days per account. Subsequent transfers within the same month OUT of AM1 are subject to a fee of 0.25 BTC for transfers of 49 shares or less.
- Transfers OUT of AM1 are always free for any transfer of 50 shares or more, but still have the 30-day limit between requests.
- Export requests will be submitted to ASICMINER once per week, if your request does not make it into the current week, it will be processed the following week. Please note that confirmations and status updates will NOT be provided until the process is complete.

How to Export to Direct Shares:
1. Push your AM1 shares directly back to the issuer, by using the "Xfr" feature on your Portfolio page at HavelockInvestments.com
2. Send an email to tat.investments@gmail.com that details the quantity of the shares that you pushed, the wallet address & email address you want them to have in ASICMINER's direct share records.
3. After we receive confirmation from Friedcat that the transfer is complete, we will notify you.

The email should be sent to Havelock Investments email instead of tat.investments from 1.3. 2014, right?
Havelock has said above that the email is going to change after the first of the month, so watch for that on their site.

"After March 1st, Havelock Investments will handle the Importing and Exporting of shares in and out of Havelock instead of TAT. Nothing in terms of fees will change.
Instructions on how to import and export your shares will be available on our AM Fund page on Havelock Investments.

In the event that Havelock can no longer stay in business for whatever reason, shareholders will send us a dedicated Bitcoin address from their email address tied to their account on Havelock.

A list of the shareholders' Bitcoin address and the number of units they hold will be sent directly to friedcat with a request to transfer the shares to direct shares."

Is there some kind of problem with BFX?  Did they not adjust any procedures since the last flash crash where the fiat ran out? How many others had all bids go unfilled as that big dump on Stamp happened today ...?
If you're referring to what happened on Bistamp 1 hour ago, then the only thing that explains that situation is this: only limit orders on Bitstamp can be filled on Bitfinex.  Market orders on Bitstamp will not make it to Bitfinex. So if that was a market order on Bitstamp, limit orders on Bitfinex would not have been matched up with it.

Disclaimer: I may be totally wrong.

Are BTC withdrawals not being processed right now? My withdrawal request has been pending for over 2 hours.
Do you have 2 factor authentication enabled?  If not (you should), did you click the link in their email confirmation?  I think they may have changed their BTC withdraw policy within the last two weeks:

"For security reasons, withdrawals will be automatically processed only if you have enabled OTP authentication (Account Security menu). Otherwise, you will receive an email with a confirmation link to approve the withdrawal. Large withdrawals will be processed manually."

Hey guys,

Just wanted to confirm that these last 2 days some fees were indeed 0.35% while other were regular BFX fees.

Indeed, we reverse the internal trading engine to the "old" one during some investigation after the attacks we've been subject too.

Since 2 hours you will now have the same standard BFX fees applied on ALL trades (depending on your fee schedule of course).

Just one thing about it: From an accounting point of view (profit/loss wise), the old "0.35%" fees is built-in the new BSTP liquidity, so it don't change much actually.

Let me know if it's clear

Thanks
Raphael

Thank you for your reply. I had a feeling it was due to the rollback. Good to hear the feature is now fully implemented. Smiley

- Position #84544 closed @ 703.0 on wallet trading 168.5622529
- Trading fees for 17.2366 BTC @ 703.0 on BSTP (0.35%) on wallet trading 42.41062896

Didn't they just change it to always charge 0,15% and doing the price padding thing to cover up the difference?

Announcement story as indicated on https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/announcements is:

"Going forward, we will no longer be showing “Bitstamp” orders on our book, but rather regular “BFX” orders reflecting Bitstamp liquidity, but priced and grouped in such a way that BFX commission rules can be applied uniformly to all trades on the platform."

This story does clearly NOT hold water as shown by the fee applied to the short I closed at $703 four hours ago. It also did not hold water regarding the trades I did yesterday.

What I am annoyed with isn't really the extra fee equivalent of a milk or two that I've been charged today and yesterday, it's that there is now no way to know what fee will be applied and no way to route orders in order to ensure that the BFX fee will apply (I used to route all my orders BFX when that was possible).
Diddo. I too am being charge 0.35% on some orders and some not, when that fee was supposed to be integrated into the price.

Just got an email from SB (check your inboxes):

Quote from: sb
The refund process is nearing completion. Upon verification of the
database, an email with further information and instructions to process
requests will be sent. Those customers which are eligible should look for
this email next week.

Thank you again for your continued patience.

As I said last week, hang in there folks. I really do think this is all going to be resolved soon. Yes, it has taken a long time and there hasn't been enough communication. But in the end what is important is that SB makes good on the refund deal he offered in December. Call me naive, but I think he is going to.
Yes, but of course it's hard to believe his time estimates/word.  In his refund promise on December 3rd (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192916.msg3803998#msg3803998) he said, "We will be processing the refunds over the course of the next few weeks."  The refund process still hasn't started, and his "few weeks" was 7 weeks, only to give an update saying things will start "next week".

So how long is it going to take if we don't hear "next week", for him to update us and say that there is a delay? Probably a "few" more weeks.

Good point about legal advise.  If a lawyer saw a legit list (with BTC signatures) and the amounts owed, maybe they would be willing to take it on, seeing the total amount owed.  At least it may help Steamboat pick up the pace.

Lawyers are parasites, a class action lawsuit would leave us with 60% of whatever steamboat is able to come up with and would likely be repaid in USD vs. our $125/BTC exchange rate locked in during September.  Lawsuits are also slow, likely wouldn't see any results for another 6-months to a year.  IMO legal route should be the last and final resort.  I.e, when Steamboat and his minions disappear, after John K releases his identity.

For those users who actually know Steamboat (we're glaring at you unaccepted) you may want to consider tapping your pal on the shoulder and advise a status update.  The duration inbetween status updates is growing, along with this crowds anger and frustration. Both are easily mitigated by a short and sweet update.

I agree with what was said here about lawyers and class action lawsuits. However, I WOULD like to point out that lawyers are not required when pressing CRIMINAL CHARGES. I'm ready for a refund now, THIS WEEK. Barring that, I'll be filing a criminal complaint.

Actually, the list proposed here would likely prove an incentive for law enforcement as well if they see the total amount owed is substantial. Is someone willing to start a list? I'd volunteer, but my organizational skills are mostly nonexistent.
I will start a list in a new topic here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=424576.0

I purchased assembly for 16 units.

It's about the time to have some news.

Where is FC? Where is the next gen chip?? Huh
Emphasis mine:
Next Gen Chips
The projected time of taping out of Gen3 is January 20. Power consumption target estimation is <0.2W per G on low power mode and <0.2$ per G on wafer cost. Please notice that the timeline is of course subject to change/adjust, and the estimation on power and cost is also based on software tool/simulation results.

dmcdad - give him a call again get another update.

Going forward I think if we don't start to see refunds coming in we start another thread - try work out who is owed what then proceed with some legal advise - If the amount owed is enough it might be in peoples interest to pursue
Good idea. Maybe it would expedite refunds should Steamboat choose to look at that list.

Starting a Google Doc with addresses and signed messages would show a person that it was the true owner.

Good point about legal advise.  If a lawyer saw a legit list (with BTC signatures) and the amounts owed, maybe they would be willing to take it on, seeing the total amount owed.  At least it may help Steamboat pick up the pace.

This photo corresponds to a Linkedin profile pic for Steven P Manos.

Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. appears to be registered to a Steve N Manos. However, it seems that Steven P Manos spm  spm@tsqm.us is responsible for shipping:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192916.msg3907759#msg3907759

Are there two Steven Manoses associated with the same business address? Steven P Manos's business address matches that of Liquid Synergy Designs Inc.

Could it be that Steve N. Manos is in his thirties and is using his father's business address? Unacceptable, can you confirm if the Steve that you worked with is in his thirties?
The LinkedIn profile above (http://www.linkedin.com/in/spmanos) shows http://liquidsyndesigns.com/shop/ as his site.  Look under Websites>Current.

Does someone have an alternate way to contact John K, such as an email? (Maybe we can leave him a message on his BTC address. It received funds on Jan 1, 2014.)
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTER doesn't allow cancelling of sell (nor buy?) orders? on: January 01, 2014, 04:54:48 AM
You probably got this figured out but, to cancel an order, click "List my active orders", under "My Trade History", and you can cancel there.

I too noticed that orders outside the ones currently listed, aren't showing up in the order table.
