541  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Is Bitmain retooling its labs for a die shrink to anything below 28nm?? on: February 12, 2015, 07:35:19 PM
Without a retool to anything below 28nm i can't see them getting anymore punch from there current 28nm chipset... Its gone thru 3 versions now & its time to ramp it up a little or is it time for the average punter to move over to Spondoolies-Tech???
542  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain S3 & S3+ Best Under Clock Settings? Freq & Volt? on: February 12, 2015, 07:29:13 PM
I'm looking to try & save some money on my electricity bill by turning my miners down to achieve the best hash per watt setting.

What Freq & Volt settings do u use on both the S3 & the S3+ (Yes there is a difference)
543  Bitcoin / Hardware / Bitmain C1 Best Under Clock Settings? Freq & Volt? on: February 12, 2015, 07:26:19 PM
What settings are u usings to get the best hash per watt??

It seems my C1 is getting to the end of its days with more & more chips xxxx ing out so i wanna see how long i can keep it going at the best rate possible...
544  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin mining is doomed ! on: January 28, 2015, 06:57:12 PM
Cloud mining is always doomed unless roi is less than 6 months & the profit would be from selling the miners... Not from making coin...

To keep you cloud in compassion would mean no extra electricity to mine the same amount of coin @ the same rate of sale....

Currently not..... mining above the $500 mark would be...

U keep upgrading as long as the miners didn't keep rising in cost...
545  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Minning Profit. on: January 28, 2015, 06:33:22 PM
Mine for profit means u get the machines for nothing & steal or get free solar for your electricity...

IMHO - If u don't roi on your miner in 12 months including electricity its been a bad investment, One u prob shouldn't have done.

I look to roi in 9 - 12 months max

548  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S3 WATERCOOLING MOD on: January 26, 2015, 02:28:58 AM
Let me rephrase...

If a C1 is 2 x S3's....

I already own a C1 but i also own 2 x S3's.

I wish to convert the 2 x S3's to make it into a C1, If this is even possible??

It would mean i would be able to run 2 S3's off 1 power supply like a C1 not to mention i would lose the noise of 2 S3's..

Is there kit out the available to ,ake this happen??
549  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S3 WATERCOOLING MOD on: January 25, 2015, 01:02:50 PM
So what ur saying is the C1 is 2 x S3's in a new box with water cooling??

If this is so where can i buy the kit to convert them???
550  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bitmain! Will u release the newer version of the S4 with the new chips? S6 maybe on: January 21, 2015, 02:51:40 PM
Just wondering if bitmain would like to respond to if they are going to make a new form of the S4 & call it maybe the S6 with the new BM1384 chipset??
551  Bitcoin / Hardware / S3 WATERCOOLING MOD on: January 21, 2015, 02:43:34 PM
Not sure if anyone has brought this to the table yet but i have 3 x Antminer S3's

One from 4th batch which doesn't overclock but 2 from the 9th batch which do overclock.

I've just seen this :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=929437.0

Which is a S5 bitmain miner running water cooling...

Now is the same sort of kit available for a S3? For 2 units from the same batch??

The first being the housing

The second being the water blocks

Im sure i could work the rest from there...

Anyone with tips or suggestions???

552  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: difficulty predictions on: January 21, 2015, 02:24:20 PM
Thursday 22nd Of Jan 2015 Australian Daylight Savings Time

Difficulty is : 43,971,662,056.0896

Network speed is : 367,196,153.9814

I'm going to start logging these every now & then to see the rise & fall as miners come on & offline with new or obsolete miners!

I know the thread says difficulty predictions but why not put in the actual as well so anyone in the past can make a prediction & see forward how close to the mark they were!

558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Got 100+ Bitcoins refunded from Butterfly Labs today on: January 10, 2015, 07:14:39 AM
My original orders with BFL date back to 2013 and I am just now getting refunded. It was a pretty terrible experience with them but I'm glad to finally get my money back.
Just wanted to show people that BFL has at the least sent me out my refund I am in no way endorsing them.

Note : I sent the coins from this address elsewhere so the in transaction is the money being sent to me in case anyone cares.

Can i ask, How much cash or bitcoin did u give them in the first place & did u get the equivalent back??
559  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Which pool on: January 10, 2015, 02:59:27 AM
Don't use ghash. Anything else should be fine. I personally use eligius.

Isnt eligius owned by JOSH from BFL???

Ur fucking us all in the ass if it is!
Uhh.... NO? You're thinking of Eclipse.

SORRY MY BAD, THAT CUNT (JOSH) CAN ROT IN HELL OR JAIL!
560  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: January 07, 2015, 02:37:22 PM
