521  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] Quality Bitcoin T-Shirt on: May 27, 2013, 03:17:07 PM
I am attending a Bitcoin conference (btclondon.com), and wanted to wear a minimalistic, high quality Bitcoin t-shirt at this event.
I looked around what was available, but could not be convinced by the mostly lower quality designs and/or tshirts.

So I made one, and put it up for sale here http://teespring.com/bitcoinshirt2

So if you are interested in owning a bitcoin tshirt, now is your chance, get one here!

Cheers,

Adrian

For example, check out http://www.reddit.com/r/GuessTheMovie

Those are movie screenshots only, unblurred from the get go. And a LOT of people are placing guesses, and most of them are wrong.
It's still pretty hard, but it's way more approachable for people then "Death of the nile" and put a vague picture of some pyramids, along with saying "hintless".
525  Economy / Gambling / Re: ApopheniaBTC - Bet and solve the challenges to win BTC. on: May 25, 2013, 11:10:21 AM
The screenshot of death of the nile, tbh I feel that's kind of far fetched. I am way more hesitant to play again now.

I think you might get more bets in, if you make it a little easier. The pics will get solved faster yes, but the avg bets per picture will probably go up.

I suggest saying clearly what "category" it is. Not movie/plant/object/.. (which is basically the same as saying "hintless"). Also, why no color pictures?

530  Economy / Gambling / Re: The SatoshiDICE Update - Effects? on: May 22, 2013, 05:57:22 PM
What is this update you speak of? Closing of bets from US addresses?

k.

I guess.

OP: Hard to say really. Theoretically a decent % should go to competing clones.

534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: May 10, 2013, 07:40:50 PM
I sold all my ripples recently, the way it's going is unsustainable and i hate to call it but it's an obvious bubble.
Right now 8000 XRP is worth 1 Bitcoin or 120 USD. Now consider the fact that XRP at this point is completely useless, you can't do anything with it but hold, nowhere to spend. Not more then couple of weeks ago the going rate was 150K per 1 Bitcoin.

I might buy some back when this bubble pops, but right now the price is completely insane.

538  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB XRP for BTC on: April 28, 2013, 10:13:07 AM
Thats too low, In ebay and bitmit the price of ripple is 3-5 btc per 50k XRP. I will sell you 25k ripples for 1 btc.

This is what I'm willing to give for XRP right now. The existing exchanges are not really dependable right now, there are too little orders. The future of XRP is also too uncertain to value it any higher for me, especially with the continuous giveaways that happen and are bound to happen in increasing volume in the near future.

540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamble against me in SFIV or TAO, win BTCs *Free game (see the details) on: April 23, 2013, 07:22:01 PM
Watch out, there is a lot of skill involved in this game, there is some luck, but it's only very effecting when the skill levels are pretty close. There is no way a novice can beat a solid SFIV player. A solid player could offer a noob 10+:1 and it would still be +EV
Congrats, you just described poker and blackjack gambling. I'm not that good. and I'm far from "solid". And I'm opening myself other players who can beat me for easy BTC. This has more risk than running SD imo. If you're just gonna produce FUD, you need to GFTO my thread please.

Well, in poker anything can happen in the short term, regardless of how big the skill gap. In street fighter, that's not the case.
That said, good luck Smiley
