What's the latest?  Coin interest has faded since its listing on NovaExchange

Still working on the new coin as far as getting everything coded. I am working alongside one of my good friends in coding the coin as he is creating a whole new difficulty retarget system that I want in the coin. Of course before I release anything I want to make sure that everything is polished and perfect. There is honestly no use in releasing a coin that has a ton of bugs and therefor a ton of needed updates and forks. Don't worry, everything is moving along! Smiley

What coin's name means. And error 403 on http://www.coochie-coin.com/

That website was from the old dev, I have nothing to do with that site.

I see this coin is still being mined (block explorer indicates this) --- can someone give a crash course in how to mine?  I have guiminer presently and tried theminingpool.thruhere.net but can't seem to connect....

Mining this coin solo is pretty much the way to go right now... There isn't a working pool that I know of right now. Once I have the new chain ready and working there will be pools for that.

Novice question, but can someone lay out how to start solo mining COOC?  Need latest cpuminer, right?  Any idea where that can be found?  Once I have a COOC receive address (coinexchange.io) and cpuminer (or whatever is recommended), what is the command line prompt to solo mine this?

I am online right now at thecryptochat.net it would be way easier to explain how to mine in a chat setting rather than here. If you want you can head over there and I'll walk you through it.
hi, i want mining this coin, can you show me how? and i can buy this coin from coinexchange.io or wait?
Hello, yes, you can currently buy some at coinexchange.io. We are hoping to get added to Nova soon. If you need mining help come on over to thecryptochat.net and I can help you.

what is your name on thecryptochat.net

Almost the exact same as on here, Micdvd

COOC officially at 250 votes on NovaExchange --- well done.  What are the next steps to maximize the chance of COOC being listed on there?

We just have to wait now for them to list it. They have a note on their page that they are all on holiday until tomorrow, so it will probably be a couple more days before it is fully listed. After that I'll start discussing the swap to the new chain and get all of that setup with them.
hi dev, coin from coinexchange can be swap to new chain cooc? i must withdraw to novaexchange?

Once the swap starts the yes, you will want to move all of your coins to Nova for the swap. Once the swap is over I will be in talks with coinexchange to de-list the current chain and to add the new one.

No Georgem recently?

I see that his patreon supporters have mostly withdrawn...

He's still active on spreadcointalk if people post there, but unfortunately most people still only come here. I might start copying/pasting and content from there into this thread, but we'll see. I think it was only a couple days ago that I asked about updates....but of course I forgot to check the site again  Cheesy

As sad as it is bitcointalk.org is a necessary evil. Even if you don't like the forum or whatever your reasons are for not wanting to post here, you still need to. This is the site that gets the most traffic and attention currently. This is where 99% of your supports are going to be at. If I had to go to a million different websites for all the coins I support it would be a nightmare. I don't doubt that Georgem is working hard to further develop this coin, but updates on this forum which has the most traffic is needed. That's just my 2 mBTC.

I sent some espers 19/06/2016
TransactionId: 3430ed9d7ce49b3350044596a2ccc14e68af384a9a8c2bb3e7e06639e9e94ead
Address: ETvGHWhqW566uwTjK6BxxRP8KdTTpYRLuM
But I did not receive my espers
Can you help me ?

That tx id dosen't exist on espers chain, this means is old ESP1 which now is worthless because was a swap to ESP2. Sorry for the bad news!

Can you help me
Which video cards to use for the best mining espers?

A guide to mine ESPERS with a CPU or GPU

CPU:
Download a miner from
http://cryptomining-blog.com/7805-new-c ... m-support/

Extract the files to a folder on your desktop, and locate the RUN-AMD or RUN-INTEL file, (CHOOSE WICH CPU YOU HAVE)
Right click the chosen file, and edit it
Change after: -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP -t AMOUNT OF THREADS YOU WANT TO USE
If you want to utilize your whole CPU, remove the -t part.
Run the .bat file you chosen (based on wich brand CPU you have)
Enjoy, you are now mining!

GPU (NVIDIA)

Download a miner from
https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases
Extract the files to a folder on your desktop
Choose one .bat file, right click it and hit edit.
it should look like this

ccminer-x64 -a HMQ1725 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u YOUR ESPERS WALLET ADDRESS -p c=ESP
pause

Save and exit, and run the .bat file
Enjoy, you are now mining with GPU

GPU (AMD)

Make the .bat like this:

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0

set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100

set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

sgminer.exe --kernel hmq1725 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minertopia.org:3747 -u yourESPadresshere -p c=ESP

SGminer with HMQ1725 algo
http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/sgminer-hmq1725/

----------------------------------------

Once you have it up and running, start playing with your intensity to fine tune and extract more hash from your GPU. In general, any R9 series AMD can go up to I=17 without troubles. Beyond that, you will get a lot of heat, power draw and even computer instability. Most recent AMD you can mine HMQ1725 with would be an R9 390 based.

If you can find a watercooled 295x2 for a reasonable price, I encourage you to grab it. Two GPUs in the same card plus efficiencies at memory access level make those cards fantastic performers. Also twin watercooled 390s but those run expensive.
R9 Nanos are interesting and efficient powerwise but still expensive.
Also good old 280Xs are a good choice. Contained power draw, same hashing power than most 290s and best part of it: CHEAP!
No miner to mine with the newest cards yet I know of.

Nvidias... the more recent the better since last ccminer performs like a charm. 1080, 1080ti will hash like demons. Expensive though.

hi all ...

can anyone tell me the average hashrate for a 1080 and 1080ti is please? ...

#crysx

For 1080 ti, seems to be around 7227KH per card. I have still much testing to do with other software/config but I get those numbers.

I get close to 8MH with my cards, I have 3 1080ti's and I get a total of 24MH

How many coins do you have? They are being bought up I see over at coinexchange.io . Yes I been voting on novaex as well Smiley

Sizable share --- yeah, I see they are getting snagged quickly before the upcoming reboot and coin swap.  Just need more people actively involved in the Nova Exchange vote --- it has slowed down recently and needs to pick back up.

Still haven't received any stakes yet

That is weird that you are not receiving any stakes. I swear it didn't take longer than a day for myself to start receiving stakes the first time. In any case it shouldn't be too long before we get on Nova and make the switch to a new chain that is actually done correctly and not from walletbuilders. Like I said, he obviously did the coin cap wrong because we are now well above 700,000 total coins and he said the cap was at 690,000. So who knows what else he screwed up in the chain.

Regarding staking with coins in the wallet, you had mentioned 69 confirmations before coins mature for staking.  I'm at above 100 confirmations for the deposit to my wallet, but when I hover over the icon in the bottom of the wallet for staking, it reads "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" ---- is this just a wrong tooltip and are my coins staking?  I've unlocked the wallet for staking only.

I don't have an exact time on the current stake age maturity. There isn't anything listed in the OP from the origianl Dev other than 69 confirmations for coinbase maturity, says nothing about stake maturity though. I can tell you that it doesn't take very long for the coins to start staking, I just don't know the exact time on the current chain.

So obviously the old dev of the coin coded it wrong. He said that there was a cap of 690,000 total coins. As of the time of writing this message there is currently 697,818 coins. Once it gets closer to the swap on nova I will have to change the premine amount of the new coin to match what is currently out there so that everyone has the ability to swap.

We will soon be on Bittrex!!! This is very good news.

Can any devs confirm this ?

everything has its time.
Soon everyone will know information about Bittrex

I won't believe this until I hear it straight from the Devs mouth of directly from Bittrex...

Hello dear espers fans. If you have trouble staking in your wallet, you can use poswallet.com
Poswallet is staking again Smiley

I personally wouldn't put anything there... as much trouble as myself and some of my friends had trying to get our ESP out of there recently I don't trust them.
