ASIC algo from the get go? Which genius told you that Aren't the issues obvious? Your chain will fork whenever a asic farm decides to rape you and blocktimes will vary from seconds to hours. (ever heard of a 51% attack - for asic farms it will be easy to control 90%+ for a short amount of time) NO difficulty adjusting code can manage a few 1000% (yes thousand) hashrate swings a few times a day ... ANY coin which isn't the algos main coin like BTC, LTC and DASH has HUGE problems. If you want ASICs as soon as possible chose an algo which probably will have one within 1-2 years and make it a natural transition. eg. Blake or some other x algo The project otherwise sounds really great. Yeah, I am with you on that... I wanted Nist5 or Blake2s personally, but apparently everyone and their mom has an X11 asic and they out voted just about everyone on the algo, so it has already been set at x11 unfortunately (to my knowledge anyway).

The Rock Star among alt-coins will most likely be delisted long before its second birthday. Is this the moving forward you speak of ? Those of us in the community will make sure it stays on exchanges. No need to worry about it getting delisted at an exchange.

Awesome, now they are both on C-Cex!!

Right, the final halving and almost a year of experiments! XRE keeps moving forward what ever happened to my rock and roll! We are close to do a presentation of a technical paper I'm working on right now. The paper will shed a light on the functional part of the reward concept based on the statistics gathered by our network simulation. Awesome! I love this project and am very proud to say I have been here since the very beginning with you guys!

The vote the last time I saw it was for TSE... then it changed to TLE and only TLE has been added... Is TSE going to be added to c-cex as well? I have seen this question asked many times but not answered....

New news, a new block explorer will be coming soon! Stay tuned!

Masternodes will require a coinswap and I am ok with this for a numer of reasons. We can erase any connection with the BTCR trapped on yobit and we can erase the burned coins from the marketcap. We can also rebrand BTCR.
This is how I would breakdown the masternode setup.
1 min blocks 50 coins per block (which gives us 72,000 BTCR per day) 40% to PoS Miners 50% to Masternode 10% to a hardcoded dev address 10,000 BTCR per masternode 1 Billion coin cap
As time goes by we reduce the reward per block.
The goal here would be to have many masternodes running all over the world. Using the 10% from every block the dev team will be able to raise funds to maintain our own masternodes, pay for block explorers, websites and marketing. Marketing is the big one and its the reason why lots of coin succeed.
Now how do I plan to back the value of the new masternodes. By giving BTCR a purpose. I will launch a buyback masternode fund, backed by other nodes. actively acquire other masternode coins likes PIVX,NEM and TX. also do LPOS with ARK and WAVES. A portion of the money generated with this fund will be used to buy back BTCR on a main exchange like Bittrex. I will not do dividends because U.S. based exchanges like Bittrex of Polo will not list us if we do. Once people see that BTCR`s purpose is to back other networks and that we use a portion of the income to buy BTCR, others will jump on board.
Think of it as earning fees on tx in mastercard, visa and amex, but instead it will be WAVES, ARK, CLOAK, PIVX and DASH.
If the fund decides to do a dividend, it will most likely be on WAVES DEX. then we grow the network.
I will use a portion of the bounty to give away 10,000 BTCR to each person who helps vote us on POSWallet. I have the name and address of every person who has voted for BTCR thus far. The rest I will use to raise funds to pay the dev who will do the new masternode wallet. Also since we are listed on novaexchange we can do the coinswap there.
Then we get listed on Bittrex/Polo.
Interesting... If I am allowed to have any say I would say put the bock time at 2 minutes so that the chain doesn't get too massive too quickly and I would also set the reward to around 25-30 as to not flood the market with tons of coins... I honestly might even say 15-20 per block... Just my 2 BTCR Also, have you found a person who can code yet? I see you on thecryptochat.net all the time and I would love to have a talk with you as I do hold a large number of BTCR. Hope to see you on there soon.

It's been going very well for Spreadcoin this past month. I thank my patreons for their ongoing support, which has helped me to decouple from my dayjob a little bit. Big things are coming in April. I was also able to completely fund all GPUs and the Raspberry Pi-Cluster through this recent rise in the SPR price.
Stay tuned for massive news in April! :-)
It's May now and no "massive" news?

Yeah.... that's the way to stop the price from increasing... when the price is going up, let it go up... Don't start flooding the market with lowball sell orders, that totally halts the forward progress...
If you could stop writing in bold violet letters, that would be great! It makes you appear like an attention-seeking idiot, but your posts are not any more important than those of anyone else here. Well, if you ever went to thecryptochat.net you know, the site that you are promoting in your signature, or cryptoinfo.net you would know that I only ever use purple. But you're right, I'm doing nothing but seeking attention... I've been paying for one of ESP's block explorers without anyone but the dev knowing for some time, and I've been doing a lot of other things to help out that no one knows about. Without any recognition or "attention-seeking" at all, but for someone who knows nothing about me to call me an idiot carries little to no weight at all, but I guess true idiots are the ones that make decisions or assumptions with little or no information so... Have a good day

Can't wait to see what the future holds for this coin. From what I can tell Devs are very active building a strong community which is an amazing foundation to build upon. The price still seems way under valued IMO... No where to go but up!!

good news from the slack That's awesome! Can't wait for this coin to get the recognition that it deserves.

I'm running Windows 7 in a VM now, SweepstakeCoin wallet started connecting after I disabled the Windows Firewall. Alright, the .conf is gonna want to look like this
server=1 listen=1 daemon=1 rpcuser=<username> rpcpassword=<password> rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=17571 port=17570
Then you will want your .bat file to look like this
ccminer -a jackpot -o 127.0.0.1:17571 -u <username> -p <password>
Remember that you have to restart your wallet once you make the .conf file and the .conf has to be in your roaming folder in the sweepstakecoin folder and should be named, sweepstakecoin.conf
I've been curious about this for a while... Can you make the walk-through more n00b-friendly? For instance: what do I use as my username? My SWEEP-address? And the password? Do I leave this empty? Remember: I'm a total n00b to a. mining and b. Windows. Your username and password should be whatever you want them to be, as long as they match in the conf file and the bat file it doesn't matter.
For both of the files you want to right click inside of the folders that they go in and select "new text document." After that you want to rename the text document based on what you are using it for, if you want a .conf then you rename it for example <nameofcoin>.conf and if you are going to use it as a .bat you rename it <whateveryouwant>.bat
The .bat file goes in the same folder as your miner and the .conf goes in the folder that is in your user appdata folder.
C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming
once in there select the folder of the coin that you want and put the .conf in that coins folder.

Woah, I didn't check that before I started mining it... holy crap...
