161  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 04, 2024, 01:44:57 PM
We are talking about here the VIP level up bonus and not the monthly bonus since it’s obvious that everyone will receive monthly/weekly bonus as long as they wager because it’s a rakeback from all your bets while level up bonus is calculated using unique calculations which only Stake knew.
…….

I’m well aware that rakeback is a perks of VIP, I have multiple account on different casino that has a wager above 100K at least so I’m pretty familiar on how rakeback works. Do you play on the casino you are promoting mate? Because you might not familiar on different bonuses which Stake offer.

I suggest that you should read carefully the discussion before you quote my post since you are stating the rakeback rewards while we are discussing about the level up rewards which is clearly not the same with the typical rakeback computation that you are posting here.

In my opinion, we have our own advantage for the amount the bonus is showing/secret.

Bonus Amount Show:
- Easy to get the number
- The amount we can get are fixed
- It's not really excited at all

Bonus Amount Secret
- Hard to get
- Don't know the number we are gonna to get
- The excitement are high, we have some situation mostly thinking we are gonna to get low meanwhile the reality getting high & vice versa

However, due (Stake) have more bonuses to be shared compared (Duelbit). I still fine the number are in secret, (Duelbits) bonus are Daily, Weekly and Monthly and don't forget rake back. Meanwhile we have (Weekly, Monthly, Post, Pre, Weekly Stream and some other bonus from VIP Host)

You have a fair point for this.

Discussion about EPL and other leagues including those like Champions League are not about gambling but about sport. Discussion about about transfer and speculation which is about transfer windows discussion are not also gambling but they are all in gambling discussion board. You can be lucky if your topic is not moved because there are some threads I do not expect the moderators to move but moved to off-topic when it belongs more to gambling/sport discussion.

This is what I’m actually considering when I created this question. Most of the thread on gambling discussion is more on sports and not gambling which mods allowed. I only want clarity on the acceptance of pure sports discussion on that particular board since mods might consider my topic as not related to gambling because betting will not be involved.

To have an idea on my thread, I saw an interview of DC(Daniel Courmier) which he stated that boxing is more dangerous sports than MMA. I want to get the opinion of other members about this matter since the answer to this is subjective.

Thanks from the above answer guys.
163  Other / Meta / Pure sports discussion on gambling board on: May 03, 2024, 03:37:43 PM
To clarify, I’m not trying to raise a concern here. I’m only interested to know whether a topic purely dedicated for sports discussion and doesn’t involve betting is allowed on gambling board given that most of the discussion thread on sports thread is already more on sports and less betting discussion.

I have an interesting topic saw that I want to share on gambling discussion board regarding MMA comparison to Boxing but I don’t want to pursue this topic if this will be just move on off-topic board due to no discussion will be made.

164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 03, 2024, 03:17:49 PM
Personally I've been receiving bonuses even though in total I'm UP. This month but also in total with my account. I do think it's based on total wagered because of this. Someone that in total is down also has wagered a lot. The exact formula Stake calculates their bonuses isn't published but it's true I think that you get a bonus just by having played this month even if you're in profit.

But as expected with any casino game as well as sports gambling, there is a house edge so the more you play the greater the chances to reach a point where you're at loss. So an algorithm rewarding you to play more is beneficial to the casino also in the long run because the players remaining in profit are a small percentage of the total.

We are talking about here the VIP level up bonus and not the monthly bonus since it’s obvious that everyone will receive monthly/weekly bonus as long as they wager because it’s a rakeback from all your bets while level up bonus is calculated using unique calculations which only Stake knew.

That’s why some user received higher level up bonus while others received less due to different factors but I guess losing a significant amount of money and the wager amount are clearly the biggest factor on how Stake calculated the level up rewards. I hope they will use Duelbits format on level up bonus rewards which the amount is transparent and adjust based on the wager done real time.

^^The way I remember it when I reached VIP Platinum I, they didn't send the bonus links through email for claiming bonuses. Instead, a support representative contacted me via chat support to inform me that I had reached VIP Platinum and that representative provided me with the link to claim the bonuses.

Here's one of the PM I received from stake chat support when I reach silver VIP.
Code:
Bonus is sent to your Vault.
You received $50 for your Silver level and additional $315 for your recent gameplay.
Kindly check it.

I can confirm that the notification when you level up your VIP status is done through a chat from support maybe before the process is through email but I rank my account already to Gold with same process of giving me the bonus through chat. They keep asking if what currency I want to credit the bonus.

Quote
IIRC I almost wagered 100K usd that time. That's why they gave me additional $315 for my recent gameplay.

This is a huge bonus for a 100K wagering. Are you in profit or lose here because this awesome as reward if you are still on profit sidewhile they gave you 315$ for that. I remember wagering more than that amount on other casino yet I only just get below 100$ from their level up rewards.
166  Economy / Gambling / Re: TonPoker - Telegram Poker Room on: May 02, 2024, 04:10:21 PM
By the way have you restricted some countries ?
Cause I can't log in to yours casino it showing a blank display only.

Afaik there’s no restrcted country to play the site since it’s just like a poker app. Probably the problem is on your telegram app not displaying the launch command to redirect your the poker website.

It’s so nice to play on this poker. There’s a lot of active players playing on free table while the display is very crisp which is impressive for a telegram app. There’s only a minimal lag when placing bets or raising bets when clicking the buttons.

Also the “x” button to close the chat box is not working. It needs to click the chat icon again in able to close the chat but over all this poker app is very good to play.
167  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 01, 2024, 04:36:54 PM
I choose online gambling because I don't want to be monitored, no one will see many as a gambler and if I get lucky no one will know that I just won a big amount of money, it will be a secret between the casino and I only.

I agree to this, the only way to your privacy will be exposed to the public is when the casino database was leaked which already happened in the past. In fact, I’m always receiving a promotional email from different casino that I didn’t know regularly on my spam mails.

Although playing in physical casino makes feel comfortable especially privacy since I leave far away from the casino which means there’s a very low chance I will met someone I knew there but playing online casino will give you the maximum privacy especially if the casino you are playing doesn’t ask for KYC.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The first online cryptocurrency Casinos, when/who? on: May 01, 2024, 04:17:53 PM
The casino founded in 2012 called SatoshiDice was what I saw to be the first bitcoin casino when I make research about it.

SatoshiDice: SatoshiDice was launched in April 2012 and is considered to be the first operational Bitcoin casino, founded by Erik Voorhees.

Oh that's right!  I'm a fool, I remember just reading about it in Digital Gold.  I bought that book years ago, and remember reading it on a long flight.  I remember thinking it was fascinating, but didn't know much about the tech at the time nor the people.  I'm actually staring at the book right now on my coffee table.  I was telling a buddy about it over the weekend and how he should buy it.  I skimmed through it and started reading it again, and that came up (SatoshiDice).  It's also so cool to have gotten to know so many of the pioneers featured in that book.  Would have never imagine that happening looking back.

Anyone know if Yogg ever helped work on this site? I feel like he did, or perhaps it was some other sort of "satoshi dice" gambling program/website.

I’m not sure for the involvement of Yogg on this website but you can visit their official ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77870.0 to check whether Yogg made a contact with them through discussion. They exist and active in this forum until 2020 before they become inactive after multiple unresolved issue.

I believe they will be the longest running casino if ever they upgrade their website to full casino just like what Primedice did when they introduced the Stake brand.
169  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 04:06:09 PM
Support says they received it but my ID is not considered a form of ID? Truly dont understand.
Not surprising since some services don't accept driving IDs as the support replied. Just try to open a new chat/support window and ask them again about it. Create a new ticket or something similar, or just post on the ANN thread and contact their representative here so they can communicate with you directly.

Appreciate the reply, how would I go about an ANN thread?

This is their official AN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088875.0 and you can contact their official report on this profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=359232 for your concern.

The BC support here is proven helpful since he manage to resolve multiple issue that pending for a long time when he step up to solve all the concern.
170  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun |SLOTS|SPORTS|ESPORTS| JACK Token on: April 29, 2024, 04:15:16 PM

Cool, thank you for participating and good luck for the draw Smiley

Yeap ; as stated in the OP of the raffle :
Quote
- The winner will receive a $50 prize with no wagering requirements.
So I confirm there is no wagering requirements Smiley

As far as I know the prize is in BTC only, but (for now) transaction fees are back to normal.

Thank you for the confirmation. I once a very active on this casino since they have a very good rakeback percentage as default to all players. The only thing that makes me stay away here is the manual withdrawal process set on my account that cause me a lot of losses due to impatience on gambling.

I saw that they are now advertising instant withdrawal that caught my attention to explore again this casino. Your giveaways too give me confidence to try again here since the ownership might decided to do a different approach on running their casino.

Hoping for more giveaways.

BTCumping the current raffle guys!:) You can still try your luck to win $50 in BTC, and join the second Blackjack.fun free raffle!  Smiley

[FREE RAFFLE] Blackjack.fun 🖤 Prize $50 in Bitcoins | Round #2

We have a new rule:

Raffle is updated.

You can now choose 2 slots if you publish your BlackJack username; of course if you already have one slot on the list you can claim a second one by publishing your BlackJack username  Cool

Done participating on your raffle. There’s information about the wagering requirements for the bonus on the raffle thread. Does it mean that there will be no wagering requirements for rewards?

It’s just fresh to me that BJfun have bonus reward that doesn’t have wagering since they usually apply x75 even on the tournament rewards and rakeback on the casino. Nice contest if there’s no wagering requirements.

Lastly, is it possible to have an option of getting the bonus on different currency since Bitcoin fee sometimes high due to the rune.

I think this kind of maintenance is still quite reasonable and any casino does the same thing. Stake.com carries out maintenance for a fairly short duration, but regarding developers so far there is no open data regarding the number available or do you have a source regarding the number of developers from each casino?
The maintenance process is a positive thing to maintain player comfort in the future. Here Stake.com is actually routine because they know how many visitors come at the weekend. I used to play at a well known casino on this forum, but the login process was very slow, I even had to refresh several times just to be able to enter. You also need to remember that there are also casinos that are difficult to access and require a VPN so the loading process is 2x slower, requires confirmation, sometimes certain game providers are not available, even though the visitors are not dense, you will definitely be annoyed if you experience a lag in the middle of the game.

The thing is, this is not the first which their server lags during weekends. I experienced a laggy gameplay in almost every weekend of my game here right after when the weekly reload was released.

Stake.com is aware for this scalability issue with their server for long time but they can’t fixed it immediately because they don’t want to fully down their website for the maintenance and let the site still usable during updates even if it’s very laggy.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for crypto group owners who would become ambassadors for Gems.vip on: April 29, 2024, 02:42:18 PM

You mean payment from my side? If so then I am willing to come up with something... the worst ad is on X. that absolute crap.... And TG would be maybe better but those bots are really everywhere.
Anyway to become ambassador for this project gems.vip would benefit crypto owner because only ambassadors hold private access key to private sales. so i really dont understand why they want money from me. They should just advertise their own access to sales. People just see the quick money and dont see the opportunity that would bring them good money anyway... But i think they want money for advertisement because they know their group is soooo shit  and full of bots.

All this benefits that you mention only make sense if your project already has a demand or at least backed by popular investors since this is the criteria which investors like in able to invest for new projects.

Instead of focusing on telegram groups which is swarm by bot account just like X. Why not launch a bounty campaign or a signature campaign here to increase your exposure to potential investors. Or at least tap with influencers that promotes crypto to get a guaranteed organic reach rather than telegram groups.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 29, 2024, 02:33:53 PM
I really hope the Suns don’t lose today and get swept. After getting Durant and Beal, to go out with a sweep in the first round is beyond embarrassing. It shows that Ayton was a more important piece to this team’s championship run than they wanted to admit. On one hand I want to see my hometown team win, but on the other hand they don’t deserve it…

Sadly Suns don’t have D and just focus on offense while Timberwolves are good both offense and defense because of Gobert and KAT combo. Wolves acquiring Gobert is their best decision to get a championship. Many people criticize it since they sacrifice a lot just to acquire Gobert yet this trade is very fruitful for them since they are the best contender to win the WCF.

Wolves is a bad matchup for Suns. I believe Suns can advance if they face different team aside from Wolves and Nuggets. KD is not that on fire anymore that can carry the team.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Your aging and retirement plan is your responsibility. on: April 28, 2024, 04:17:37 PM
This is the reason why so many people are homeless and die just few years after retirement because their was no proper plan/ steps taken while they where still active in service

Early death is not due to lack of retirement plan. Don’t blame your genes or shit things that you do during your youth that affect your health because this always the cause of early death not the lack of retirement plan. Actually, Those who have less money during retirement live longer since they only eat a balance diet without consuming fatty foods that you can get on meat that frequently eat by wealthy person.

Being a homeless also is a result of financial mismanagement because you will never become a homeless if you have a secure job that provides more than enough profit. I personally still not focus on retirement plan because I’m still young but I do have savings and investments for my future but I don’t consider it for retirement since our genes is known for having a short life. It’s better to enjoy your current life rather than focus on the future which you don’t know if your life span will be that long. I’m not against retirement plan but I’m only saying that we shouldn’t sacrifice our current life just to have a good retirement.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 28, 2024, 03:36:21 PM
.
Well, Orlando proven most of us wrong about how they'll handle this series. Personally, I didn't even think that they'll be able to even the series after losing 2 straight on the road with a huge margin. But in game 3, they were able to come back and gave the the Cavaliers a dose of their own medicine and they continue it in game 4. If this is just about the home court advantage, it will be the Cavaliers that will win in the series but I think things are not gonna be the same in game 5 as the Magic have gained the momentum, so I expect them to play better on the road than first 2 games in the series.

Cavs and Magics series is the most close games since they almost have same stats with their regular season while they are the 4th and 5th in the playoffs ranking. There’s no clear dominant on both team but rather the one with home advantage usually win on this kind of series when playoffs.

I believe the last 3 games is crucial for both of them now that home court advantage will not gonna matter anymore since they both already knew how to beat each other so it’s already just a mind games on how they will counter each other for the last 3 games remaining.

But it’s surprising to see that they both beating each other with huge lead. Lol
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making the Most of $100 bankroll on: April 28, 2024, 03:31:31 PM
I have a friend who is new to sports betting and he asks -
If his bankroll is $100 and he has been told not to use more than 5% of his bankroll per bet, what strategy should he use on this type of bankroll? His question is should he place $5 each on 20 different bets? Or is there a better approach that can be suggested?

There’s no standard rules on you manage your bet. Those 5% of your bankroll bet is just a preference bet of some people but that doesn’t mean it’s the standard and right approach. There’s no right or wrong in gambling you are just relying on luck when you place bet even if it’s a sports betting.

I think asking your friend how he can enjoy gambling rather than following someone advice is the best thing to do. After all, we are just seeking to have fun when are gambling so it’s better to choose a strategy that will make him happy. If he likes betting in much higher percentage so be it. Because no one is right in gambling except you who owns the money.
179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: April 28, 2024, 01:08:29 PM
-snip-
You can imagine.

You're using (Laptop/PC) but getting those lag, how about people who like me yesterday with (Smartphone). To be honest, the lag last night was really crazy basically is not effected on the claim code. IMO is also effected for whole casino site.

maintenance happened again while I was playing so I couldn't continue playing. For some reason, this is the first time I experienced problems while playing and just closing it made my playing mood bad. Until now, I took a break and didn't visit the casino until everything returned to normal, because anyone feels uncomfortable in the middle of a game when maintenance suddenly occurs, especially when doing a buy spin.

For the record, Stake is always laggy during weekends since many players participate on Stake event during their free time especially during Saturday when the weekly bonus was distributed.

The current maintenance is specifically dedicated for this scaling problem due to bunch of active players. It’s really frustrating if you will keep playing on this kind of laggy state of the casino. I think they should just pause the operation for awhile to avoid error from players that still playing even during maintenance.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 28, 2024, 11:31:30 AM

But anyways this is really cool once you start to farm your yield from your BTC. You will feel that's making you reap more benefits from your BTC. So are you actually utilizing the potential of your Bitcoin holdings in this way?

First of all it’s not Bitcoin you are restaking but rather just an altcoin substitute for your Bitcoin that you choose to wrap in exchange for the altcoin you are holding. So it’s nit really Bitcoin and you are risking your Bitcoin to the smart contract holding your real Bitcoin.

Why do you need to use Bitcoin if you can just directly use Altcoin for staking and leave your Bitcoin as is investment. This way you can make sure that your Bitcoin safe while earning rewards using altcoins without relying on wrapping your Bitcoin using a smart contract which is not totally safe.
