I'd be interested and that's weird they no longer make/sell the entropy device.  Seems like it wouldn't be hard to make more of them and it serves a good purpose in address creation.

Found this: http://moonbase.tictail.com/
Seems to be current....

Thanks MJ!

are you planning on making a new note designs as well? or using the current notes and just loading them?

For such an occasion you'd atleast see some changes to the design.

Most likely I'll make a whole new series for it.
583  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [CHECKING INTEREST] Polymerbit LOADED notes on: November 13, 2017, 05:07:01 PM
How do you plan to generate the private keys?
If you like/need I can lend you a mycelium entropy.

Awesome!  Grin

I'm happy there is trust but I still think I'll speak with you MJ because things can always go wrong.

How long should we make this inusrance policy? 1 month? two?

And Lincoln! Awesome, yes please! I'd pay rent on it in notes Wink

Deal! Smiley

For all people who don't know what a mycelium entropy is:
https://mycelium.com/mycelium-entropy.html

It is a device for generating true random numbers in a reliable way using SRAM. This is very important for secure private keys. Unfortunatly you can't buy this product any more.

I wonder why they no longer sell this Sad

I can just see this getting worse. Eventually leading to a fight.  Grin

592  Economy / Collectibles / [CHECKING INTEREST] Polymerbit LOADED notes on: November 13, 2017, 10:58:12 AM
Hello!

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I'd like to make a note that is loaded with small amounts of BTC (Like 10-20 USD) and sell them for BTC.

To reduce risk I was thinking of creating an insurance policy on the notes. Maybe put some coins in escrow with one of the trusted parties on here (MJ? Viz?)

Just a passing thought...

596  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Polymerbit Reference Thread on: November 12, 2017, 06:38:16 PM
I'm happy to see you like the thread  Smiley

I thought there were less than 50 pcs for the 10 mbtc and the gulden notes.
How many 20 mbtc , 50 mbtc and 100 mbtc coinfest are there ?

the 0.1 BTC (1000 pcs) was printed in Canada.

Fun fact about this note: It has Adams signature before he officially became a partner...Why you ask? I didn't like my signature and wanted something more professional!

Everything else in London & Birmingham (UK).

100 mbtc coin fest 50 pcs

0.2 Teslin "Early Release" Test print (before we acquired our own Polymer tech) 50 pcs

20 mbtc is not 20 pcs but 99 pcs

50 mbtc is not 20 pcs but 99 pcs

You will also sometimes find Star notes as in A000000*. We make these if something has gone horribly wrong when sending the parcel or other errors.
597  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Polymerbit Reference Thread on: November 12, 2017, 06:08:50 PM
Our biggest error occurred with the 1/10 ETH.

We printed "Bitcoin Document" both on all Test notes and HALF of the final run notes.

This caused us to improve our quality checks.

Furthermore, the nonpolymer notes are all a material called Teslin.

20, 50 mbtc, Coinfest and I believe some of the early 0.2 and 10 mbtc were tested on Teslin.
598  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Polymerbit Reference Thread on: November 12, 2017, 06:06:14 PM
you should combine efforts with MJ and incorporate this thread into his coin makers thread.

Great idea.... the link has been added.
Reference threads are now in purple in the OP Cheesy

This is incredible! Thank you!

We will try to help where possible.

The general rule of thumb is the following: Test prints are limited to 50 pcs and full runs are normally 100 pcs.
