I missed this in the last 6 pages -- what is the price?  Thanks.

They will retail at £6.99 in Europe.

@minerjones - are you doing distribution for US/Canada only? If so, who's distributing in Europe? Will it be possible to buy on website?

We will be selling the notes for the UK/ Europe on our website. Miner takes care of the US/Canada. Cheaper shipping for you as we're based in the UK.

Erik, I think we can start reservations. But don't accept payment until I get these two final things to you. Quick question, did you get #A000000001- to #A000000335 or higher?

Can I reserve #A000000001? Tongue

Haha nice try Wink, I wanted to keep it as a keep sake. Partner gets #A000000002.
484  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS / CHECKING INTEREST] "Polymerbit" polymer cold storage banknotes. on: January 25, 2017, 05:50:31 PM
Thank you for the update.
I can confirm the notes have arrived safely.
I have a list and will PM people later today/tomorrow.
There will be no payments or any shipping at this point.
As stated by poylmerbit, we are still waiting on the packaging and sticker....
BUT, I would still like to prepare and reserve the appropriate notes to make sure there are enough, as it seems as we may need more stock already looking at the list Cheesy
thanks

Here's a little preview:

~Snip~

Awesome!
Please add me to the list, MJ. Cheesy

I'm not sure if this question has been answered, but are these numbered?

They are.
The one I have pictured is serial #A000000335

When are you planning to start sales?

We are getting the packaging and sticker on the 27th from Italy, then we just need to ship from the UK to California. Tongue

Only thing in the way is international shipping at this point!

Hallo polymerbit,

vielen Dank erstmal für deinen tollen Google-Translator-Text. Sehr amüsant zu lesen.
Vielleicht ein kleines Feedback von mir:

Get your bids in! You could win it at the starting bid price!

What an awesome design!
489  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [REQUEST] Paper wallet design, someone had a series of really awesome ones on: January 10, 2017, 07:20:59 PM
Sounds like polymerbit. They've not released anything yet though. You can see some of their designs here: https://twitter.com/polymerbit

yeah those are the ones, thank you. thought they'd be "out" in some capacity by now

could probably embed NFC circuitry inside of them to make them useful for actual bartering and verification

Almost there!

Atleast they are now on their way to Florida where we will then have them split to different countries, including our distributor in the US.

Here they are printed: https://i.imgur.com/0J8UBSt.jpg

Gibt es bereits:)

Siehe: https://www.bitcoinsuisse.ch/de/zertifikate-info/

Habe welche davon.

http://www.polymerbit.com/

Habe einen Gutschein bekommen für eine Note von denen. Sobald ich die in den Händen halte kann ich gerne berichten. Smiley

Plastic paper wallet. Looks cool. Watching.

I realised that we didn't really provide any clear indication of how the reverse worked. So here you go Smiley

They look pretty clean  Shocked

I'd surely take some when they start to sell Cheesy

I can't wait to get them framed with some other awesome stuff.  Grin

Well... I'm unsure whether we should release. We found out today that the printing company made an major error with the note and took the blue ribbon from the 1 BTC note.

Looks awesome to me. Smiley
Count me in for some.

Same here, these look absolutely gorgeous with the blue ribbon

That is not what I expected, we pretty much accepted that these notes would not sell!

Is it possible to pre order these? I think they are awesome.

As its our first product, we'd prefer not to do pre-orders. We haven't proven ourselves yet to be pre-order material Wink

So, the only "Safe" way to sell bitcoins in the USA is to sell on an exchange?

You can sell it directly to anyone and even through localbitcoins. Technically you are just selling an item not exchanging currency. Since in the US, the government has classified Bitcoins as a commodity this would mean you are just selling something to someone willing to buy it. There currently no laws that prevent you from selling Bitcoins hence you are safe. Your only problem would be taxation on these transactions. Hypothetically, if you bought bitcoins at $100 and sell them at $200, then you gained an income of $100.  Because any income is taxable, even it came from illegal activities. Just take the mafia as an example, Al Capone was never convicted for any illegal activities done by the mafia. He was convicted because of not paying taxes.

This one is always a fun one. Be high up in the food chain and do illegal stuff? Meh. Evade (not avoid) taxes on the earnings? Prison
