81  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 4x complete, ready-to-mine "Chili" miners on: December 23, 2013, 09:06:12 PM
If anyone backs out, I'd take one on Sunday or Monday.

I would like 1. Have to buy the BTC.

I'm willing to sell additional units, however I can't guarantee 35+Gh/s for more than 1 at the moment (see included cgminer capture up-thread - although there are 7 that are over 35Gh/s, one of them (BAL8) is watercooled and not for sale atm.  That leaves 6 @ 35+Gh/s, 5 of which have already been reserved)

I was thinking about doing water cooled. whats the hashrate like?

Honestly, in my opinion, it's kind of a waste on this application, since it does nothing to keep the VRMs cool.  The EVO212 can cool the ASICs just fine.  However hot VRMs will cause throttling.

I recently completed a successful transaction with gudmunsn.  I sold him 3 BFL Little Singles.  He sent payment first.  Thanks!

What did you use for the stick on copper heatsinks?

ill take it.

Since I've been reserving them based on who posted first, I feel compelled to give ASICSAUCE a crack at the last confirmed 35+Gh/s miner.

However I'm confident there are still a few 35+Gh/s miners hidden among the remaining units.  Worst case, I may only have a 34+Gh/s available for you.   Wink

I would like the remaining 4 give me a till Monday to move some investments around. If that's ok.
I can get BTC earlier if needed, pm me or post here.

No problem.  I will hold the remaining 4 for you until Monday.
87  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5x complete, ready-to-mine "Chili" miners on: December 20, 2013, 08:25:33 PM
I am running a search, but what are the power requirements for one of these to run?

PM sent.

I don't have a kill-a-watt reading, but I can give you an idea.

I run:
  • 5 on a Seasonic 1250 80 Plus Gold
  • 3 on another Seasonic 1250 80 Plus Gold (that also powers the host computer)
  • 5 on an Enermax Platimax 1200 80 Plus Platinum.

When I had a Kill-A-Watt on mine, they're between 180 and 200 W or so.  I have 4x on an AX860i without issues for weeks.

Thanks for the numbers.   Wink

Any chance of a cgminer screenshot or per device actual hashrate with your setup?

I have 13 total.  Although they run in my chilly basement, they are not all situated equally with regard to direct airflow over the boards.  That really is the key to getting top performance out of these.  What that means is, several of the sub-35Gh/s performers actually have further potential.  BAL 8 is watercooled, btw.

As stated, these 5 would all be taken from the shown group of 35+Gh/s performers.

I'll take one if I can pay on Monday please

You got it, Joe.  One reserved.
91  Economy / Auctions / Re: 30GH/s Chili Miners - Fast Auction (50 Available) on: December 20, 2013, 07:12:56 PM
Since the auction is over and this was the last of the remaining stock, I don't think MrTeal will mind me posting this.

92  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5x complete, ready-to-mine "Chili" miners on: December 20, 2013, 07:07:36 PM
I may be willing to buy one for .6BTC, otherwise it is not going to make a profit.

Pass.

Bare boards are selling for .75btc.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375995.60

.8btc for a complete miner is a very good offer.

95  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Cube Setup on: December 19, 2013, 12:40:39 AM
I am having trouble getting my cube up and running in a data center.
They have no DNS.  Does anybody know what I should put in the two fields for primary and secondary DNS?
Not sure about ports either.
Any help appreciated.

You could try using Google's Public DNS at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 or OpenDNS at 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Ports are dependent on the pool to which you're connecting.

Doc Haribo, has anyone else mentioned about some Bitminter blocks found on Blockchain not crediting/showing up on Stats page over the last few days?  I noticed several yesterday and just now noticed https://blockchain.info/block-index/447319/0000000000000004905185711720b267a133d5b2ed9b0e0e0d35ca1e5e4f429b {274733 (Main Chain)}didn't show up or credit but like 5 minutes later block 274737 was found and showed up just fine.

What's going on here as these are all showing up as being found by "Bitminter" on Blockchain but only some are showing up on the Bitminter Stats.  Hopefully just something simple i'm overlooking.  Thanks.

This has been touched on a few times earlier in the thread.

Long story short:  Blockchain is making a guess and getting it wrong.  It is not authoritative.  I think they clarified this by changing it to "Relayed By".  So it's not actually saying it was found by Bitminter.
