21  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Badass BTC T-Shirts on: March 28, 2013, 03:05:11 AM
Lol, I'm not site affiliated. Local print shop, but for bitcoin, I will do short/one off runs for anybody who is willing to cover Our menial costs. We have thousands of blank shirts waiting for designs.

Will buy one in the next couple days. If you need any printing done batt, holler at me. I recently joined a print shop of like-minded individuals who are now accepting the coin. Mainly because I did that. If you already have such a service, apologies and I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

If we are really seeing what I expect, I will say 100 by next Tuesday, given the usual weekend lull. But It isn't unreasonable to say day after tomorrow. It has been pretty consistant as of late. Lots of motion (in my time zone) from morning to early evening and holding at a sub x0 price at night. I wouldn't be surprised to see 100 by Thursday, but given the mental barrier involved, I am saying it will be the beginning of next week before we see triple digits.

So I told her about this thread and all the comments people have made (left a few of the more descriptive ones out haha)... twenty minutes later she came in with $300 in cash and said "buy me some Bitcoin, everyone else you have convinced has been making money." I said: "Ok, its not all about making money though.... its about a revolutionary new way to take the power of currency from the hands of corrupt banksters and put it in the hands of we the people."

She seems to be warming up to this crazy idea we call Bitcoin.

The current attraction to the coin seems to be money. I have found that introducing people to the money aspect first brings them to the realization that there is more to it than that. My co-workers, in the past month, have seen their investments in my way of living this life increase exponentially, and now they are getting into the community/idea of this wonderful movement we are a part of. I am just waiting for their posts in the introduction thread. But it is my fault for not telling them to just jump in. So guys from OGRFX, if you're reading this....JOIN NOW!.

And congrats on getting her to invest. I'm selling a small portion at 90 if you want to do a direct sale Wink

I would have taken you up on that and avoided the $15 Bitinstant fee on $300, but sadly we already bought it together... thanks though!. OMG we bought our first BTC together... such a huge first! lol

If you like it you better put a satoshi on it?

I apologize for that, my brain starts going full retard around 10:30 Tongue

Regrettably, my design partner and I decided that we cannot take place in thistoday. Time does not allow for us to put in, what we feel would be an appropriate amount of time to make it worthwhile. We did discuss over the cutting table some ideas, including the backside. One that sticks in my mind is putting a "pattern" of 'text' designed to look like the lines in a standard currency of important websites to btc as a way to advertise the community. Like I say, these were quick notions while standing over a weeding table at a print/sign shop, so they may be worthless, but as we always say, even the worst ideas can spark the best....

Miss bitcoin wanted  Wink
This. But also....

My girlfriend doesn't understand bitcoin, feels that I am ignoring her at night now when I am home, until bedtime....if you know what I mean. But all in all she has been great about it. 2 years of me 'ignoring' her, and I actually have spent some coin on her because of my wise investments....so I tend to think the amount of time BTC can take up would stress any relationship, but if your significant other respects you enough to know that your time and hobbies are yours as well as theirs, and you don't spend 26 hours a day obsessing about one thing, whether it be btc or something else, there is more than enough time in the day for a healthy relationship and a life-consuming hobby such as this.

And to the guy who's wife,gf...whatever fixes his rigs....thanks, I am going to be training my gf up and hopefully teach her the way of the coin this weekend....she will probably ask me for a tip. and I got just the one for her.

The IMEI is good. There is a small scratch in the case just above the camera, but the lens is perfectly fine. I will be happy to post photos taken with it and of the scratch. It spent most of its years in an otter box that I will include with the phone.

Will discuss this with a like-minded designer at my print shop in the morning. At the very least I would be happy to assist in the production process. 24 hours will update. This post is more a placeholder than anything else.

Preev is at $79.59. I am not allowed to check tickers at work, so my next check will be at 1pm EST. I imagine I will see $80+ at lunch.

you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

Something tells me at this point I'm going to die. Not necessarily a hero, but I can wave goodbye to my .07....

13 or 14? 13 because it's 'lucky' and 14 because it is the number of episodes of Firefly Tongue

I would finally pay my friend to have my wallets qr code tattooed on his forearm. with the other .25 I would pay my coworkers out in small fractions for their assistance on a bitcoin centric project, simultaneously introducing them to bitcoin and spreading the love.
