and because I'm feeling generously drunk...have another small tip

It will still take you days, but coinworker is the most profitable if you can get in on some multi-point reward programs. It takes dedication, but an hour a day for a week will get you started better than all the other pay to clicks. All I can say is to pass it on to the new guys. I am new myself, but there have been a few tips I have picked up from people that have helped me quite a bit. All the best and welcome to bitcoin....

It's not a sob story lol I'm going to Nepal regardless of if I get this loan. It would just save a little money, so no harm in asking.

How is getting a loan saving you money? Your statement pretty much screams "I'm gonna take the BTC and run"...

I've been to Nepal. As much of an experience as it is, there are better trips you can make for 2400usd. Also if you have to ask for a loan for the trip, you're doing it wrong. Nepal is a once in a lifetime experience and having a debt looming when you get back will kill that experience. I'm not gonna be a dick and flat out say no, but believe me man, don't try and make that trip happen if you don't have the money. Go when you can relax, learn, and live. Having that kind of debt during that trip goes against everything people who go for the right reasons believe in. That is my 2 pennies. Take it for what it is worth.

+1 -- Listen to this guy Smiley

awww, my first +1 on this forum....should I give an acceptance speech? lol

See this discussion:

I'm trying to pair my blockchain.info iphone app using my qr code but it keeps telling me invalid qr code.

I've gotten the qr code from account settings > devices like they say to do so but i keep getting this error

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135212.0

Cheers. Thanks again. I will try and change my pass and see if that helps. I was under the impression that my QR was my QR and there were no other options.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far into the future are you looking? on: February 26, 2013, 04:35:51 AM
I have a 5 year, a 10 year, and a 30 year plan. But imho plans were made to be broken. I trust in BTC, but at any given point all that planning can go to shit. I was heavily involved in commercial real estate from 2001-2007, and watched a lot of good people lose their income, families, lives. So look towards the future, but always have a backup plan. I would love to see what the divorce rates were for people in the financial/real estate sector after the crash....I knew too many people who literally lost not only money, but their families over their short-sightedness. I never leverage too much, and I am keeping a very low-profile. That is part of the reason bitcoin is interesting to me. I know that a user-driven currency will never be truly valueless because on some level we will still be able to use it as trade. I almost see it like being a furtrader in the digital age. I believe that once the current financial system collapses on itself all we will have left is physical trading. Well cryptocurrencies on the whole will become what we use to 'trade' online when the bottom drops out and we are standing in a crater of our own creation. I feel like I should add a #tinfoilhats to this....

I'm on Blockchain.info and have been happy with their services even with my meager account values. My only problem is that their app won't let me pair my iphone with it. I don't know if this is a screen rez problem or what, but also even when I login manually it wont sync. This isn't a real problem in that it honestly makes me feel more secure, but it can be a hassle having to use safari to login on my phone when they claim I can sync my account.

I was able to sync my iPhone.  I think I saw somewhere once that they had issues with pairing a mobile device if the password has certain symbols in it.

Ah, thanks for that man. That makes sense, I have only ever tried to pair it from my laptop and my ipad screen, so I assumed it was a resolution issue. I will give it one more shot from my home PC(when I finally get home from this latest business excursion) and will try changing my password. If I even can.

How is this an issue. Just by reading and responding I hit Jr. Member on my first night here. Seems to me anybody that is complaining about the post/time limits isn't putting anything back into the community....not that I really put anything but snark and laughs back in. But wtf? 4 hours and 5 posts is a gimme.
