1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are good to invest at XEM Now ? on: October 08, 2017, 08:18:13 PM
I see altcoins price is down recently but when i see XEM  it's Quite interesting because the price keeps rising as others go down
So are this my chance to get profit by this coin ?
Please your opinion
It is increasingly developing and expanding its field of investment, there is more and more speculation about this to have a large income, so why not.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: October 08, 2017, 07:48:21 PM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
Everything points to the fact that this coin has the greatest propensity to embrace this place, its popularity, and its price and turnover.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: October 08, 2017, 07:42:20 PM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
Many people continue to buy because the prices do not mean stop or drop, and many coins guarantee some earnings, and in the near future possible even a great pump.
1284  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Too good to be true on: October 08, 2017, 07:35:18 PM
I am new at mining. I found a site for hardware, but it almost seems "too" good to be real.

Pls pm me and I'll tell ya the site. I'd rather not post it here. If it's not a scam, I don't want this site to get soldout! Some items require bulk, but not all of em. It's still almost "too cheap" with their prices.
My gut feeling says it's fake....but maybe I just found a great deal!

Any help is appreciated!

Many things point to it being scam so be careful of this type of orders and announcements because too good looking things can have different meanings as in this case!
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the current Mysterium spike pump or pre-pump? on: October 08, 2017, 07:22:26 PM
The price of Mysterium (decentralized VPN project token) started increasing yesterday along with the trading volume, reaching almost +50% at the peak. It might have been just a simple pump, but I'm not quite sure about that.
First of all, the price increase and trading volumes were not that high, I would expect much more from a pump. But most importantly, everybody who is familiar with the project knows that the developers are publishing news on their progress at the end of every month. Why would someone pump a coin a bit more than a week before the development news are expected? The best time to pump would be just after the news, right?

My speculation is that it might be a pre-pump, i.e. whales filling their pockets before the actual pump, which might be planned for the end of the month when the news are expected to be published. What do you think?
I'm asking because if it is a pre-pump as I think, it might be a good time to buy now and wait for the pump.

The MYST/BTC Bittrex chart: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-MYST
This time it could breaks. Many points to what you wrote so we will see what time will bring for this, but actually this time and way how it goes can be significant when it comes to buying.
1286  Other / Meta / Re: How to get activity? on: October 08, 2017, 07:14:09 PM
Hello

I am new to bitcointalk and wondering how to get activity? and what does it do?
You need to be as active as the name suggests, to write a lot, to help and  out of here you will just receive the rank increase. Just be active, that's all.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: October 08, 2017, 07:00:25 PM
I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL?

How do you think about the price of ETH end of this year.

I lost just small amount (5 ETH) because i bought the highest price.

I don`t know I hold or SELL.

Give me your opinion.

In my opinion, at this moment a good solution is to try to stop that money, why? There is always a chance of some return, not even earnings, but the return of the invested amount, and in this situation it is quite clear that it could make anything.
1288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i solo mine with a rented rig ? on: October 08, 2017, 06:52:33 PM
if i rent a ring at miningrigrentals can i solo mine with it ?

1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: October 08, 2017, 06:47:28 PM
What are your thoughts? Which coin to buy cheap?
Waves still has potential to increase, but when? And how much? Future will show, hope so near cause i wish people which invest in it the best of luck.
1290  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 08, 2017, 06:27:03 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot
Easiest way to earn money... Imagine that you have to work like 10 hours for money that you are able to scam in 15 minutes... That's what make people scam- time.

I'm here today to talk about Sys.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/SYSBTC/eZe22VKD-Syscoin-Under-the-Radar-and-Extremely-Undervalued/

Syscoin is one of the few coins that actually have a use case. Not only are these guys working on decentralized market places, but they will have fiat on ramps and other features such as anon in the works.

Currently, Syscoin has a market cap of ~70million, but has extremely professional development. The devs have had a constant stream of no-hype features released and have been working on the project for a long time.

Technically, the only blockchain based competition would be Particle (used to be shadow). They really compete with open bazaar or ebay.

You can read more about the project here:

http://syscoin.org/

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/syscoin/

https://www.reddit.com/r/SysCoin/

https://medium.com/@thecryptojournal.com/top-crypto-investment-for-2017-b99656491c6f

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=757255

Now let's talk about the technicals:

Syscoin has double bottomed / is displaying bullish divergence after a nice corrective wave to old ath levels. I expect great things from syscoin and strongly believe that this is a good entry point to the market.

Target? 500 million cap, at least.
That's interesting! You convinced me to read more about it in future! That could be nice project!

1294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which information you look at when researching a new investment? on: October 03, 2017, 04:41:05 PM
It's obvious that I should research each coin I'm planning on investing in, but as I am just a newbie and there are tons of relevent coins to look at (not to mention the whole crypto world and tech that I should catch up to) I want to devise a system so I won't get cluttered with less relevent info (which is bascally a huge excel table containing all the relevent data).
So my question is which information do you look into when searching a new coin, and which info is more relevent for later comparison between coins?

P.S
I'll gladly take research sources if you have something specific to mention.

There are some posts like this on forum, just find them and make yourself a list and try to find best options with it, here is example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1936484.0
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GameCredits Speculation on: October 03, 2017, 04:34:11 PM
So what are your opinions on this? I decided to pick up some coins to hodl.

I have been searching for coins with real usage demands, could we finally have an alt coin with real users?

It is being developed in partnership with Datcroft Games, who themselves have over 12,000,000 users, they are soon launching a mobile store which aims to compete with Google and Apple among others.

Several hundred games already registered for the store.

The coin itself is used to make purchases from the mobile store and in game, which you purchase via credit card, it fills sell orders on exchanges, no need for users to interact with a wallet, the users don't need to know squat about crypto currency.

Lower fees and more regular pay outs than google and apple for developers.

Professional marketing team targeting Asian markets.

I think this is a good moon ticket.

Ohhh that's interesting, ill do my review and research on it and try to make the best thoughts about it.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: i7 mining? on: October 03, 2017, 04:20:45 PM
Is there any coin worth mining with an i7-7700?
I looked into Monero, but it doesn't seem profitable. I am mining SIGT with 2xGPU, but I thought I might aswell put my CPU to use when I'm not using it.

Cheers,
pika
If you only think about getting profit from it don't wait for much money, that's my advice.

1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that will survive in 2018? on: October 03, 2017, 03:57:03 PM
What are the top 10 altcoins that can survive and keep growing in developers, community, price and usability?

Eth and xmr have the greatest potential to survive on the market in 2018. We'll see if it does, but so many speculates are there.

Hi All,
