701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 13, 2019, 11:28:52 AM
I saw a project and on that project I did not see the team and DEV from the project. however they use Escrow with good positive trust, can it be a determinant that the project will not be scam?

Interesting solution.. but I don't understand why dev team want to stay anonymous if the project is legit.
About escrow - In my opinion there not exist 100% sure third part.
The key to this situation is answer to the question why they use this kind solution for project?
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins useless? on: February 13, 2019, 09:48:14 AM
I think most Altcoin is also profitable and also very useful for everyone to make profits in trading, so they will also make profits in a short time.

Unfortunately, but trade and speculation that is the only way how most altcoins are used for. In real life, they will not be useful.

705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN]ARTCOIN.AI ⚡The World's First COIN Based on ART⚡ 🔥🔥 on: February 04, 2019, 08:59:59 AM
Hello bernard Smiley

Now I'm a bit confused - I just found another Artcoin announcement thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5072308.0
In the official Artcoin telegram channel is link to the other thread.
Which is official then?
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid - BITCOIN SAVING MADE EASY! on: February 04, 2019, 08:44:50 AM
Another amazing step forward!

We implemented a new feature in our crypto app: you can now withdraw money from the app using a virtual credit card. The funds going to this prepaid card will be withdrawn from your crypto savings.

The process is quick and easy: a prepaid virtual credit card will be issued within the app and an access link will be sent to your email.

Make your Wish come true: use your virtual credit card to make your cashed-in Wish come true! You can also use it for online shopping, or to top up your balance on PayPal and similar services.

Enjoy Wink

*The actual virtual credit card may look different than shown!

Awesome news, you added PayPal, probably first crypto company that works with PayPal! And could you tell us who is the provider? Classic debit-cards will be also added or?

I don't think that Savedroid have some direct cooperation with PayPal besides that you can top up your balance on PayPal like with every other card.

I would also want to hear confirmation about real card release, but it looks like two circles (red and yellow) in the bottom right corner of the card design suggest even the providing company Wink
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty]Bitenny - simplify your future on: February 04, 2019, 03:15:00 AM
Hi, In opening post is information that distribution will be two weeks after end of token sale, but how long will last this bounty program? Also to the end of token sale, or will run in other period?

Do this project don't have announcement thread?
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can New Projects compete with the established ones? on: February 03, 2019, 10:48:02 PM
Hi everyone; as I'm sure you're all aware new projects continue to flood into the crypto space at a regular pace; (my newest favorite being GRIN and Nauticus) however I am wondering if these can compete with the established projects like BTC and BNB?

https://grin-tech.org/

I feel like Grin is a much more fair playing ground than Bitcoin; with no premine and no ICO etc; and much stronger privacy (maybe better compared to monero?)

https://nauticus.exchange/

Much like Binances BNB due to trade fee reduction; but with FIAT onramping and Securities incoming.

Can newer projects make big enough waves to usurp their much older larger brethren?

Technology is growing every day. I think that with cryptocurrencies and all projects in this market, it will be like the development of cars. At the beginning cars were slow and dangerous, with time they are more and more modern and better - the same will be with the projects on the cryptocurrency market.

The trust rating of the OP is alarming. Is he part of the team working on this project? Because if he is, I doubt people will invest on this as the credibility is at stake. The linkedin profiles of the team members might be legit but their participation is highly questionable. Can you give tweets or posts from them saying they are part of this artcoin.ai?

To be honest I didn't found direct connection Mr Bernhard A. Boehler with Artcoin project, but on this video he is talking about the use of blockchain for art cataloging:
https://artcoin.ai/#video and that video is signed by Artcoin.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Design is important for ICO projects on: January 27, 2019, 11:57:54 PM
If the ICO wants to succeed, then every detail is important. Design is not as important as whitepaper or experience of developers, but it is of course an element that investors pay attention to.

Hello all!

Can anyone explain why Byteball Bytes has disappeared from Coinmarketcap?
Unfortunately, but I can not find it on the list or through the search engine. I can not also found official information about delisting.

Edit/ It looks like the just change the name - now is "Obyte"
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your favorite coin to invest in that's NOT in the Top 100 on: January 26, 2019, 05:04:28 PM
My favorite coin is Syscoin, just outside the first 100, now of around 120 position. The project had a lot of problems (including the fact that they were robbed, the thief was convicted.) But they have not given up and are actively developing the project. I am sure that Syscoin will give us many surprises in the future.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: January 26, 2019, 03:58:34 PM
I think the most important thing is, on how long you want to invest your money. If you are ready for a long-term investment, I think it is a very good moment to buy any of the cryptocurrencies.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs? on: January 20, 2019, 12:28:34 PM
looking at market conditions like this I think this is the right time if you buy several alt. I will buy like ethereum, bitcoin, cardano, EOS, Tron and Ripple. I'm sure this coin will increase in the next few months.

I'm not sure it is good decision to buy alts now for only several months. The market is still bearish and can drop more. If you want to invest in some really good altcoins like QuarkChain you can do it now but you should do it for the long term (a year or more). Also you can wait few month and try to buy cheaper but not the fact that you succeed. Grin

Actually several months in cryptocurrency market it is long term investition.  Wink In my opinion, the period of bear market ended and stabilization begins. I think that even if prices drop a bit more, it is a good time to go shopping than wait for confirmation of the bull run start.
716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding Coins and Tokens... on: January 20, 2019, 11:52:54 AM
I plan to keep all my coins until they reach the planned price, until this point I see no reason to sell them!

It all depends on what price you plan to sell. I hope you can manage your target, but remember that the cryptocurrency market is managed by its own laws and can have a completely different plan.  Wink

Check out the Libereum project. Community is very active on telegram channel: https://t.me/libereum

Tokens can be bought on Latoken: https://wallet.latoken.com/market/ICO/ETH/LIBER-ETH

Check also project from my signature, maybe supply is not s low, but I think is worth of attention Wink

i am following this form a long time ago.. i think it is a molotov cocktail: football+blockchain.. these trending topics could have a huge impact and drive the massive adoption. We all know there is no other sport more famous worldwide than football ! so this can be very veyr very profitable

I also hope that this ICO will succeed. This is the first project of this type and if everything goes as planned, it can be a really big bomb. However, everything depends on whether investors also like the idea. Unfortunately, the market is not favorable to innovative projects.

720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Twitter accounts do you follow? on: January 13, 2019, 08:14:53 AM
List your favorite Twitter accounts that relate to Bitcoin or any Crypto Currency

I will start mine to set the example - now list yours!

My Favorite Twitter Accounts To Follow for Crypto Currency Updates:

I think that your list lacks profiles of people who play a very important role in the world of cryptocurrencies:

https://twitter.com/vitalikbuterin - Vitalik Buterin
https://twitter.com/aantonop  - Andreas M. Antonopoulos
https://twitter.com/cz_binance - Changpeng Zhao
https://twitter.com/satoshilite - Charlie Lee
https://twitter.com/barrysilbert - Barry Silbert
https://twitter.com/adam3us - Adam Back
https://twitter.com/nickszabo4 - Nick Szabo

There are certainly many more valuable people, but these profiles reminded me first.
