sellers, don't jump in front of the wall. he won't crash the price. once it's eaten (unless he runs first), it's off to the races.

he clearly WON'T crash the price so there's nothing to fear.

deep wick spinning top reversal candle on high volume.  suggestive of a reversal in trend:

Nemesis bought 10k coins in 2012, but unless he has done some pretty hot trading since, he would not control an address with 35k

I was reviewing his post history just now (I hadn't heard about him till today), and he made a comment about doubling his BTC holdings from 8k to 16k during the April 2013 growth spurt and crash.  Perhaps he did it again between the November peak and now.  There's numerous comments where he claims to have placed big walls for the purpose of manipulation, or bought his own walls (it only costs "0.6%," he's said a few times).  His comments seem prescient, vaguely alluding to both of the 2013 growth spurts shortly before they occurred, moving his coins out of Gox in spring 2013, criticizing ButterflyLabs in 2012, and a few other interesting details.  He seems very enthusiastic about BTC and in several comments strongly opposes "cashing out into fiat," suggesting that bitcoins are to be held or traded for something one needs or wants.  Using his words, he seems to enjoy "slaughtering pigs."

Cypher, do you know much about Nemesis?

no i don't.  he sounds too small.

none of the positive fundamentals for Bitcoin have changed
none of the negative fundamentals for Bitcoin have changed either

but they're tolerable and improving.  such is the nature of open source development.

You guys know nothing about fundamentals... We are talking about $2m that was being created per day by mining! Now that it moved to $1.4m per day you think its a good deal when this illiquid market isn't even bringing in half that per day. Half of our current level of 300 would be 150 & that still won't even stop this super fast downfall!

Welcome to the first long term BTC bear market, we are 10month in.

yeah, newbie for 2 wks knows more about Bitcoin fundamentals than those of us who've been around for almost 4 yrs.

Dow: Friday's advance re-established a short term buy signal but, as i expected, we still got a weekly, or intermediate term, sell signal.  if this persists, it will be unfolding with a bearish left translated configuration, which is very bearish. given that the longer term monthly cycle top is due, stock jocks need to be on high alert:

gold continuing to collapse:

the manipulative ask walls have been so obvious that i hope it strengthens the remaining traders who should learn from this.

look at that 30000 BTC wall run.  what a wimp.

I hope the wall will hold few days :-). I'll be able to safe withdraw enough coins. (step by step, never go all in)

the wimp already ran
4751  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: October 05, 2014, 11:16:01 PM
...aside from governments and banks, who else would be interested in driving down the price of bitcoin ... Perhaps I'm being paranoid.

Curses, you've seen right through my sinister ploy!
Who would have thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness?

yeah, lucky the big wall ran with its tail btwn its legs.  would've gotten taken out.

none of us early adopters are going anywhere!

How do you know that sums of biggest wallets represent early adopters? It could just as easily be increased concentration of holdings at Circle, Coinbase, etc. or even coins being moved to Bitstamp to dump. At the very least you would need to include coin age or possibly wallet age for this to be valid.

look here and tell me what you think:

Another wall of 28k bitcoin at $ 320  Roll Eyes .....

im pretty sure its the same wall Smiley

It is the same wall... Point is these walls are a mirage! Once you guys start getting near that 320 wall it will move!!!

i'd bet so.
4757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 05, 2014, 10:08:56 PM
There's a premium that would need to be paid for someone to acquire 30K.. look at the USMS Auction. To show a 30K wall would be completely stupid unless, of course, it's just designed to scare people. It's working.

And yet nobody wants to buy it

to have 10 million $ on one exchange is nearly as smart as having 30.000 btc on one exchange lmao  Roll Eyes

yeah true.  so stupid.

it has to be either Nejc Kodric or someone very close to him.

cypherdoc, I hope you managed to profit in btc from this downturn. I'm making a killing here, lol.

just don't give it all back by being greedy.

Already took profits, but leaving some dry powder in case it goes down further. At this point it's silly to wait if you had the plans to buy some.

for me, it's just too risky to be leaving any fiat or BTC on any of these exchanges, esp Bitstamp.  some funny shit going on there.  it's not worth trying to day trade these swings.  i'm happy with just buying dips.

Yes it is risky but I cannot resist:
1) send X % of fiat (you can afford to lose)
2) buy and withdraw
3) go to 1

yes, that is perfectly reasonable.  but day trading over long periods of time on an unregulated exchange in Slovenia is crazy.
4760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Largest addresses and bitcoin movements. on: October 05, 2014, 09:36:18 PM
such poor understanding of the psychology behind trading.  as the price drops to lower and lower levels, more and more ppl become interested in buying at what they now consider to be reasonable prices.  as none of the positive fundamentals for Bitcoin have changed and the protocol remains secure, this dynamic is ensured.  we see precious tangible evidence of this in the great chart posted by inca of early adopter not selling, but instead buying.  it's the bears who are in denial and so so focused on the price as if it's the be all and end all for Bitcoin's future.

what a bunch of idiots.
