Powercoin definitely deserves it more than the other newest alt coins.
I have to admit though, I agree. But nonetheless, I still don't feel it should be on an exchange...

Although it gave me a slight chuckle, I'd have to say -1 for misuse of [ANN]...

Oh...Another one? Le sigh...

Wouldn't (2) and (3) not work because of pooled mining?
In any case, PPCoin has the reserve balance that generates stake while you can spend the rest of the coins. Those coins generate stake, but only the coins not in reserve reset coin-age when spent (I may be off on the granular details).
I think your numbers need adjustment because I don't think a general economy spends and exchanges 90% of available funds. (Just think of M_0 versus M_1 as a starting point.)

Well, if anything at least the coins are pretty?

Yeah, you're pretty much right about this sub-forum.
Coincidentally, this is the one sub-forum that literally takes the word "sub" to heart...

I forgot to include, I can assist with Math (I made a prior post offering my services for that topic), but also with Philosophy and Theology. I also have a decent background in Finance.

Saving third post for applicable links in the future.

[Note: I'm not sure if this should be bucketed to a different part of the forum, I originally made a different post in this forum, but that was when it was just myself offering my services.]
The idea for this thread is to be a crowd-source topic for people to post whatever academic-related assistance they need and to either find someone who is willing to help/assist them (for free or for payment). If someone is able to successfully help you out, please consider tipping them!
In the future I will be editing the second post as a resource posting for those who can help you out with specific subjects and subject matters.
To facilitate things, please include the subject and class/subject matter at the top of the post. I have listed the following examples as a point of reference [Note: I am not seeking responses for these examples.]:
Mathematics, Topology Prove or disprove: The Euclidean Spaces R^n are compact? If not, are they locally compact?
Philosophy, Metaphysics (The Problem of Being) I'm looking for an idea jump start for a presentation that I need to do relating to the Problem of Being. Does anyone have any ideas or references?
Chemistry, Organic Chemistry I just don't understand this stuff! Can anybody tutor me on this topic?
English, Classic Literature Help! I have a paper due next week on an analysis of the themes found in Ivanhoe but I haven't read the book at all!
I hope that this thread can be of assistance to the community! Thanks for reading!
[tl;dr: Post things you need help with; include subject and subject matter. Be sure to tip if you find help.]

I think Yacoin might stay, You have Bitcoin being ASIC friendly, Litecoin being GPU friendly and then Yacoin being CPU friendly. When Netcoin is released maybe it will be FPGA friendly, and we will be full circle, lol. Who knows, right? Actually, I think Yacoin is the FPGA-friendly choice, at least while it continues using scrypt+chacha/kekkac(32,1,1) for a couple more days. [Omitting pictures to shorten post.] I can't be the only one who looked at this variant of scrypt and decided that fast external RAM was not necessarily needed at N=32.. It's so refreshing seeing those with an understanding of what the (N,1,1) could do. Hehe. And as N increases, the renewed hype surrounding this coin will allow you to make an awesome amount in the short term.

I really think that no matter what we're going to have these type of "crapcoin" releases for primarily two reasons:
1) People want to make a quick buck and what better way than to make a coin that can be pumped and dumped?
2) People feel that certain features from already existing coins should be adjusted to make a better coin without thoroughly understanding the implications of those adjustments.
[As a quick note: Usually those two things overlap.]
Combine these two things with human nature and voila, we have a plethora of stinky "crapcoins."
[Personally, I really do like it when Cryptocurrencies bring something new to the table like PPC and FRC. As for LTC, I think it has ended up becoming a major player more due to it's wonderful chance timing rather than the fact that it brought anything new to the table.]

Not sure if you still have any based on the way the first post is worded, but I'll list mine here just in case I'm reading it wrong.

Probably not the best audience for this type of service. You might have better luck offering to teach English as a second language.
Fair enough, I just got inspired to do this after seeing those threads for the other sciences. Really doing this as a service because it's more fun than anything and it reminds me of my school days. Hehe.

Honestly I don't think we need child boards for each currency, as it would just get diluted to far and less useful.
Keep alt-coins the same as it is, but make a specific trading child forum where any buying / selling takes place. They are the high turnover posts that can sometimes clutter up the forum.
+2 Same here, I agree with this. Or something for the more prevalent coins. But then again, this is a Bitcoin Forum...
