Why the hell does Bitcointalk.org go down all the time. I just typed up a long response and clicked submit, and got the "cannot be displayed page" AGAIN. I then click back and it doesn't save my message, ughh  Angry

To sum it up, there's a way to track a BTC address to see where they have sent to. That's the closest you'll get to catching him. Maybe he'll have an account with a lot of info attached to one of those sites or places he's sent the BTC to though, but it'd be a long shot.

I don't think a scammer/thief is going to send the coins to something like "1TimWheat29c72fjs9 ...".

Currently coins are not touched so..

What lol? He could send it to say a gambling site "Bitzino", and then his BTC address is used with an account there with his first and last name. Then with his IP + first and last name I'm pretty sure you could find out the rest. It was just a possibility...

Whoever got scammed, you're seriously going to sit back and watch him take you for thousands of dollars? If that were me I'd take it into my own hands.

1269  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Buying your signature space, paying 0.1 BTC require: 50+ posts per month on: April 01, 2013, 03:20:56 AM
I can do this, I've gotten 42 posts in about 2 weeks.

Ok, i will make an exception from the 100 post count required rule for you.
Add it to signature and let me know your BTC address.

Alright, thanks. I'll be on here a lot as I spend 12+ hours on the computer a day. Let me know if there's any other sites you need me to advertise on, I have some forums with 100+ reputation.

If jackpotbtc.com was JakpotBTC.com I would bid $10 on it. Other than that I'll bid $11.00 on Btcexchanger.com
1272  Other / Off-topic / Re: Drug Money Confiscation on: March 31, 2013, 09:44:55 AM
It's just another way for the government to get free money IMO. The least they could do is donate drug money to some sort of charity or foundation. It could also be put toward keeping the criminal alive in prison, instead of using honest people's tax money to pay for it.

Blackstar, I have guide to make you $900 a week. It includes having a throw away phone, email address, and amateur computer skills. I will sell it to you for $1500 if you're interested. PM me I'd be happy to let a moderator verify it or somebody trusted.
1275  Other / Off-topic / Re: Growing weed vs. Mining for BTC on: March 29, 2013, 09:18:13 PM
I know, but that's be the same as buying really expensive set-up to mine with. Based on a 1:1 ratio of profit, I would say that mining BTC would cost more to set up. It would also last longer than a grow-op though, so it balances itself out.
1276  Other / Off-topic / Re: Growing weed vs. Mining for BTC on: March 29, 2013, 08:27:42 PM
Mining BTC         Growing Weed

Stress Level  < Stress Level

Time consumption < Time consumption

Start-Up Cost > Start-Up Cost

Why not just have a room where you grow weed and mine Bitcoins? Use the heat of the computers to insulate the room lol

The start up cost varies to much for you to be able to say which is greater.

Buying computer hardware and everything would obviously be more than buying lights, soil, seeds, etc based on a 1:1 ratio.
