There are many things that make an altcoin valuable and all these things are needed for an alt to become valuable. An altcoin needs an active community, a good and competent development team and should have real world use cases. If even one of these factors is missing than its going to effect the progress of an altcoin drastically.

First rule of online posting is don't tell anyone how much money or coins you have, as you can get doxxed at any time. Also if you are asking people here on what ICO to invest in than let me clear one thing that most of the people are going to recommend those ICOs whose bags they hodl and are looking to dump them on people like you.

You are unsure about the one coin that is worth buying. Eth has one of the brightest futures in the crypto world and not having a stake in it would be foolish. The only place it is going to be in an year is the moon. You can also buy Bitcoin with it, as diversifying your portfolio is always a safe and recommended method.

No. its never going to be worth investing in the ICOs due to the risky they carry. Its never going to be worth losing your entire investment trying to chase quick and high returns. Not to mention the amount of scams happening in the ICO markets, that it would never be worth giving away your money to the scammers just like that.

I would say wait for them to launch their own chain before going all in. Just invest a small amount now if you are feeling FOMO. Otherwise I would wait for their chain to become functional before diving in. As, if anything goes wrong then it wouldn't take much for the price to drop fast and heavily.

What Facebook went after is ICO ads and I think it is good for the crypto markets as currently ICOs are nothing but making the whole crypto markets look bad. Do you even know the amount of scams happening in the ICO market? Also Facebook is being forced by the government organizations to ban crypto related ads.

|
|
Its not the ICOs fault that they are scammers but the investors fault, cause if they end up investing in anything they read about that is being hyped than the scammers are going to make a fool out of them. What most new investors don't understand is that they need to do their own research and not believe in the hype, as it is being cerated by the shills.

I'm using Ethereum for long term hodling. A coin like Ethereum is too valuable to trade it and risk losing it all. Ethereum has one of the brightest future and I'm trying to increase my stash as much as possible before the next bull run starts. I expect it to start any where near the end of year.

Buy when there is blood on the streets and sell when there is greed in the markets. Now if you follow this strategy than you should be hodling your buys whenever you feel greedy or the FOMO in you starts kicking in. As FOMO always makes us buy something at the top and we end up regretting it some time later.

You must be out of your mind if you think Ethereum is dead. Its currently sitting at half the price of its ATH and trust me its at a way better price according to what the correction should had been. Also if you don't know than there is a huge development team working behind Ethereum and there are so many great updates lined up for Ethereum.

It can go both ways, it can pump x2-3 instantly or it can drop to half after getting listed. It all depends on the future potential of the coin and how many people are interested in buying it, who didn't get chance during the ICO period. But the risk is very much and I would advice to wait out few days before trying to get in.

Patience is like one of the Gods in crypto world and those who follow it are the ones who get rewarded the most. Without patience it wont take much time for one to believe in FUD and end up panic selling at the slightest drop in price they see. Only those who believe in the project of their coins can have patience.

Let them panic and let them sell and let them regret later on when bitcoin breaks the ATH again. If someone panics means they aren't yet ready to become a hodler and only hodlers get nice returns in crypto world. Asking someone not to panic isn't going to work as they might have invested more than they can afford to lose.

My blood boils every time I see the name of Sia coin anywhere. Due to it I have in the red for such a long time. It was hyped like crazy during the last year and the dev team wasn't even competent enough to develop a working wallet for the coin. Due to which most of the exchanges had suspended the deposits and withdrawals for a long time.
|
|
|
You only lose if you sell. When the bitcoin price decreases and we enter a bear phase than its time to hodl and buy more bitcoins for cheap to increase your stash. As you wont get this opportunity in the bull cycle. Of course for doing that you need to believe in the future of cryptos and have a strong hand.

You are playing with fire here by trading on so many exchanges. Either you haven't heard of the never keep your coins on an exchange phrase or never experienced it. Theres a reason why everyone mentions that, as exchanges are too much risk prone and can get hacked easily and it would take just a few seconds for you to lose all your money.
|
|
|
It is never safe to put your tokens on exchanges and any one saying that it is OK to put your tokens on exchanges doesn't knows what hes talking about. Exchanges are getting hacked on regular basis and no exchange is safe from a hack and putting your tokens on exchanges is foolish and you should withdraw your tokens as soon as you but them.

I don't think the whole ICO market would even exist in the next two years. With the amount of scam work going around in the ICO markets I don't think that people are going to be fooled any more and would likely get smart and avoid investing in ICOs altogether. Unless there is some regulation I don't think the ICOs are going to succeed.

6 or 7 exchanges are more than enough for you to find any coin or token you want to buy. Why do you want to buy through so many exchanges? Do you know that you are increasing the risk of losing your funds the more you start using new exchanges. Try to stick to the best and biggest exchanges and withdraw your coins as soon as you buy them.

I see that Dogecoin is pretty popular among everyone here. But personally I prefer IOTA as its a ground breaking technology and the next generation coin with features like instant and fee less transactions. Coins with transaction fees don't even stand a chance in front of IOTA. Also the IOTA team has too many real world partnerships.
