There are many things that make an altcoin valuable and all these things are needed for an alt to become valuable. An altcoin needs an active community, a good and competent development team and should have real world use cases. If even one of these factors is missing than its going to effect the progress of an altcoin drastically.

The only place it is going to be in an year is the moon. You can also buy Bitcoin with it, as diversifying your portfolio is always a safe and recommended method.

No. its never going to be worth investing in the ICOs due to the risky they carry. Its never going to be worth losing your entire investment trying to chase quick and high returns. My blood boils every time I see the name of Sia coin anywhere. Due to it I have in the red for such a long time. It was hyped like crazy during the last year and the dev team wasn't even competent enough to develop a working wallet for the coin. You only lose if you sell. When the bitcoin price decreases and we enter a bear phase than its time to hodl and buy more bitcoins for cheap to increase your stash. It is never safe to put your tokens on exchanges and any one saying that it is OK to put your tokens on exchanges doesn't knows what hes talking about. Exchanges are getting hacked on regular basis and no exchange is safe from a hack and putting your tokens on exchanges is foolish and you should withdraw your tokens as soon as you but them.

I don't think the whole ICO market would even exist in the next two years. With the amount of scam work going around in the ICO markets I don't think that people are going to be fooled any more and would likely get smart and avoid investing in ICOs altogether. Unless there is some regulation I don't think the ICOs are going to succeed.

6 or 7 exchanges are more than enough for you to find any coin or token you want to buy. Why do you want to buy through so many exchanges? Do you know that you are increasing the risk of losing your funds the more you start using new exchanges. Try to stick to the best and biggest exchanges and withdraw your coins as soon as you buy them.

I see that Dogecoin is pretty popular among everyone here. But personally I prefer IOTA as its a ground breaking technology and the next generation coin with features like instant and fee less transactions. Coins with transaction fees don't even stand a chance in front of IOTA. Also the IOTA team has too many real world partnerships.
