161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The War has started. Crypto vs Giants on: October 16, 2018, 10:45:07 AM
You might have seen the following news

https://www.recode.net/2018/1/30/16950926/facebook-mark-zuckerberg-bans-crypto-advertising-bitcoin-james-altucher

So facebook bans cryto advertisement. is it an effort to destroy crypto currency that they fear can free the humanity from the Govt banking system.
It is not an effort to destroy cryptocurrencies, people have been through this over and over again, they have to protect their users and since people are using their platform to promote crypto ads which they use to scam people then they have to do something. This benefits everyone since something have to be done about the scams in the industry
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency market types on: October 15, 2018, 08:59:08 AM
All of these markets are correct the way you mentioned them and they often come one after the other. Which is why you see that the bear always comes after the bull market. The best way to be the best kind of crypto investor is to educate yourself enough to know the kind of market we are in at a particular time so you can tailor your choices to the market
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does crypto mean to you on: October 15, 2018, 08:47:26 AM
For me crypto means a way to make enough money so that I can retire early. Not like retiring in the next one or two years but cryptos are a way for me to effectively make sure that I make enough money to fund a very good retirement plan for myself. Also cryptos means that at some point i would not have to deal with banks at all anymore
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: October 13, 2018, 04:22:14 PM
What you should do as a newbie is to make sure that you maintain a level head when it comes to the coins that you are buying. Do not rush and do not follow the crowd. Strategize and plan out the coins that you want to invest in, look at their projects and research the coins. Lastly make sure that you are only investing the amount of money that you are willing to lose.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are most new tokens Ethereum ICOs? on: October 13, 2018, 04:14:08 PM
Hey guys! I was just curious to know why most of the tokens I've been seeing have been on Ethereum. What are the benefits?

The reason for this is that it is very easy for you to make your own coin using the ethereum platform and network and the smart contracts of ethereum are very easy to get so people are more inclined to use that since it means less work for them. That is why we are seeing so many tokens on the market, they are way too easy to make so people are taking advantage of it
166  Other / Archival / Re: Litecoin's future? on: October 12, 2018, 06:32:04 PM
Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.
What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?
Well if you look at the market then you will see that most of the altcoins have a really bad performance when compared to the performance of bitcoin. This does not in any way invalidate the fact that litecoin is a good coin with a very good future, it like all of the other altcoins are just waiting for bitcoin to bull and then we will be seeing new all time highs with all of them
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risk points of investing in cryptocurrency. on: October 12, 2018, 06:22:47 PM
There are a lot of risks when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies and some of those risks include the fact that your coins can drop in value pretty fast which means that you would be losing your money, You also stand the risk of the coins that you have getting delisted and leaving you with no way to get rid of the coins which would mean losing your money
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I go for? on: October 11, 2018, 02:10:08 PM
I want to invest  $500 in crypto market. I have studied a little bit about the market. As I am not experienced in this sector, I am a little bit confused where should I invest?
I know my capital is too little.
Would it be wise to invest in Alt coins?
Or should I go for the ICOs?
There is nothing too little to invest in the market, $500 today could very well be $5000 in the future. And yes it is good for you to invest in altcoins but you have to be careful with the kind of coins that you are investing in, make sure that you are doing adequate research into the coin. It is better for you to just stick to the top ten best altcoins when you are investing.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: October 11, 2018, 02:00:30 PM
The best coin for you to hold for the long term would have to be bitcoin, it is the most invested coin that has a good base and community of investors, almost everybody in the market has bitcoin which means that it is the coin most in demand. This is why the coin is always going to have value and that makes it the best coin for you to invest in for the long term
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: October 10, 2018, 01:50:40 PM
Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.

Yes it is a good one, if you are investing in an altcoint then it might as well be ethereum, it is the best altcoin. Just make sure that after you buy the coin, you are storing it in a wallet which you control the private key to. After that then you need to make sure that you are prepared to wait out the bear market, until the bull before you can sell those coins.v
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good update but at a wrong timing on: October 10, 2018, 01:42:57 PM
It is a good one to prevent the amount of spam posts that are being posted on the forum, but i do agree that it came at a wrong time, it would have been better if it would have come with a warning first before they turned so many people's account back into newbies, at least letting them put their signatures or leave it on for the meantime would have been good
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: October 09, 2018, 01:15:35 PM
You can only sell the tokens that you have on the exchanges that they are listed on and with new tokens they are mostly listed on smaller exchanges since they are easier to get on before they can get on big exchanges. This is why it is always important to follow a project even after the bounty is done, that is the way that you can be sure where you can sell the tokens.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS? on: October 09, 2018, 01:05:43 PM
Do you have any good reason to believe that the ICO market is going to grow this year?
So far I think that it has been a very good year for the icos, so many of them came out and so many of them have managed to raise the money that they were going for, even at that, more coins are coming out and they are still raising money. Looking at the number of coins that have been introduced into the market, their success have been commendable.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Received First Bounty Rewards on: October 08, 2018, 01:54:45 PM
Hello guys I just received my first bounty rewards which is dacc tokens worth 10$ I'm happy today. Share your experience of first bounty rewards too.

Edit: I'm happy because I received my first reward not for that 10$. I know 10$ is littile amount still I'm happy because this is my first bounty reward.

It does not matter how little or how big it is, the fact is that you have received your first coins and that is what matters. Congratulations and this will help to motivate you to do even more bounties and make more money. It is hard to find good bounties that are actually paying out now no matter how little the price is but kudos to you for finding a good one.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could war affect crypto? on: October 08, 2018, 01:46:59 PM
There are a lot of ways that war could affect people and it could affect the amount of people that can actually invest in the coins at a time. After that coins could be used to launder money to be used in the sale and purchase of arms which could negatively affect the credibility of the coins. Also it might depend on which countries are involved in the war.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: October 06, 2018, 12:06:56 PM
You should invest in coins with very good products, products that you can be sure that people would be using for a long time to come because if the product is not good then people are not using it, if people are not using it then the coin and the entire project will have no value. Also you might want to look into investing in a coin with a dedicated team behind it
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone suggest some altcoins to buy? on: October 06, 2018, 11:59:29 AM
There are lots of altcoins(well, ICOs) Can anyone suggest some altcoins to buy?
I searched some on ICO listing cites, but it seems a lot of them are paid to be rated high. Some coins have only 100+ members on Telegram... Undecided
I know that the price will go up and down but how to find some altcoins that is really doing something revolutionary and worth to invest?

A good ICO to buy into would be ELQYD Ico which I am currently participating in their bounty. they have a good team and they are servicing a fast growing niche will will be bigger as time passes. You would not regret investing in the coin. also you might want to look investing into eloncity, don't know if their ico is done yet but they are a good one.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Bounties for Newbies on: October 05, 2018, 12:06:05 PM

Some of us are very new to Btt and also new to Signature bounties.

Please can someone help provide links to signature bounties for NEWBIES

Thanks very much
Now there is no way that newbies can actually do any signature campaigns since there is no where to put the signatures on the accounts anymore. So what you should be doing now is focusing on making quality posts so you can get at least one merit which would boost you up to junior member and then you can be able to participate in signature campaigns
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: October 05, 2018, 11:59:05 AM
It is, there is going to be a lot of those from here on out since we are technically going into another bear market which will most likely end up lasting for a couple of years at a time. This is not the time to be looking for green in the market but rather this is the time to buy coins and make sure that you have a good stash waiting for the bull
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it worth mining litecoin with current market conditions? on: October 04, 2018, 11:54:05 AM
Litecoin is becoming popular than one expected. It has been one of the stable coin on the market. Current market condition has affected all coins including litecoins. With current market condition, do you think it is worth investing in litecoin?

You have to understand that if you are mining just because you want instant profits then you are most likely doing it wrong. When you mine coins like litecoin now that the coin is down you are actually mining the coins so you can hold them. At this point it might not seem like you are not making any money but with time you are going to end up making a lot of profit so the answer to your question is yes, it is worth mining
